I have been going to this place for almost six months. They have helped me more than any past place I ve been to. They ve gone the extra mile to help me mentally and emotionally. They not only help with your mental health but they provide other types of care they even have their own nurses which I see Lisa and she helped find me a diet plan when my other doctors never have. Taylor D. was my therapist for almost 6 months before I moved from newaygo county and had to end our sessions. If they would have let me continue to be a patient after my move I would gladly make the hour trip to continue our sessions. She is such a REAL and relatable person. I never felt judgment from her or any of the other members of my care team. I'm thankful everyday for some of the advice and help she gave me and will carry those tools with me through life. I just got off the phone with a very considerate and professional young lady at the Cadillac VA. She was very informative and put up with my hearing difficulty.Update: I recently had my first appointment with my primary care doctor at the Cadillac VA Clinic. I've never been to any medical place where the employees were as dedicated and professional as the Cadillac Clinic. My primary care doctor, Marc Robinson, Ph.D., is the best in my 81 years of life. This program has done so many good things for our family and my son who attended this year. Our son had been struggling for almost a year after a very bad car accident and he unfortunately began to abuse his pain pills. They really strive on the fact that you go at your own pace through the program to ensure that you are getting the most out of it. They do not want you to move alongside others their just because they may be going at a different pace than you. There are many different groups to choose to partake in and you get to customize things in terms of what is of interest to you. It is a very beautiful and tranquil center to receive treatment at. He was able to focus on himself in all areas, body, mind and spirit. The staff ensures a clean and inviting center to be at, they all work together to make sure that you are well taken care of and they offer great meals by an amazing cook as well. We are thoroughly grateful.

I'm very happy with the results I got from going through the program at BRS. I was prescribed pain medication by my doctor after I'd gotten in an accident and I was having trouble getting off them. My husband found BRS for me and it was a really good place for me to go. They put an emphasis on their client's comfort there, which was something I needed. I'd never needed help like this before and it was weird for me at first to be in treatment for a drug addiction. The staff there were wonderful with me and they handled all my tantrums while I was going through detox very well. There were a lot of tantrums too. Every day I wanted to leave and every day they convinced me to stick it out. Which I'm very grateful for. After detox, I was surprised by how much I liked being there. The facility itself is really nice and I was comfortable there. I'm so glad my husband chose BRS as the rehab I'd go to because I don't think anyone else would have handled me and all my dramas nearly as well.

My brother went to BRS last year and I'm amazed at the results. My brother spent 10 years addicted to crack cocaine and truthfully, I never thought he'd get sober. He went to a lot of treatment centers before BRS and none of them helped him. There are some major differences between those other centers and BRS though. They don't take a one size fits all approach to treatment there. They have multiple programs and my brother was able to do a treatment program that he hadn't done before. One that actually worked for him. He was also there for 4 months. He's always been to 28 or 30 day programs and it was never enough time for him. Plus, the BRS center is great. It's a beautiful place and they have a bunch of amenities that helped my brother feel comfortable there throughout his whole program. Lastly, the staff were wonderful with him. They made sure that my brother did his program and did it right. Going to BRS worked for my brother. He's sober now.

When I started going to the clinic I would get high on pretty much whatever I could get my hands on. I was terrible. I didn't care who I hurt as long as I could get high. But then I found out about the methadone clinic and I called them reluctantly I wasn't even sure I wanted help but I knew I needed belp. So I went to my intake and I started going to the clinic and ever since then I have been drug free.My life is completely different now. It is weird how much you can miss by being in a fog of drugs. All I know is that if I hadn't started going to the clinic I would most likely have ended up dead, either killed or o. d. If you are looking for help and want to use the program I suggest that you go the the methadone clinic in Mt. Pleasant mi they will give you the help that you. Need to get your life right and they will treat you as a person and won't. Look down on you I am very grateful for all that they have done for me

My mom recently had medical issues and ended up in the hospital on floor 2 in critical care. I can't begin to say how kind the doctors and nurses were at this hospital. They treated my mom like family and gave her the best care. We talked to other families on the floor and they all had the same experience. This hospital and nursing staff deserve 10 stars. It's a clean hospital and very well set up. Our nurses were the best you will ever find anywhere and we owe them so much for their care for our mom. Different things have landed my family in the emergency room twice in the last three weeks.First, my one year-old had a Febrile seizure in the middle of the night. I have only rode the city bus to Hope Network, but I give them 4 stars because I ride the bus 3 days per week and the bus picks up mentally challenged adults at hope network, in which have jobs because thats what hope network does it gives them an opportunity to work in local factories.

I always gotten good care, the only issue I have is they keep pushing the DBT at me, when I told them I don't do good in groups or the skills are to hard for me, I was told DBT or go somewhere else for therapy, you should be able to provide me with a therapists, so my mental health services don't have to be scattered with a bunch of mental health agencies.

I have to totally disagree with some of the negative reviews on here. They help anyone who wants help. I have seen several people come in, and they are all treated great and with professionalism. I have got every service I asked for or was referred to. Everyone is polite, and they go out of their way to help when you ask. I had a great experience here with my adult adhd assessment. It changed my life.While I was initially actually diagnosed with adhd when I was 11, since my parents chose not to medicate me or what not and hoped I d grow out of it, my adhd went untreated and apparently undocumented. Started seeing a psychiatrist and since we couldn t track down the documentation, I needed to be retested at 30 years old before we could try certain meds.Sure enough, the adhd combined results spoke for themself. I actually also have anxiety, ocd (pure O), and depression, too. My psychiatrist and I started the med trial and error period, and after 4 months consistently on my two meds (Vyvanse for adhd, Prozac for the others,) I can honestly say my quality of life has increased dramatically. I m doing better at work and in my personal life.North Kent changed my life!! Also, I went in thinking what if I don t actually have adhd, and I realized well, if I don t, the test will at least answer that and give me other answers for what s actually going on. No matter what, you ll get answers and will have guidance for the next steps. Highly recommend this place.

Depression runs in my family, so when RPS did a prelim screening my daughter did ask for help. I listened and contacted North Kent Guidance Services because I knew of its existence. I've found the staff to be personable and quite willing to help those in need. Thank You NKGS for helping our teen daughter and our family keep it together.
