Southwest Idaho Recovery Community Center (SIRCC) in Nampa, Idaho, is a community center focused on helping the community recover from addiction, homelessness, and mental health problems. This facility is downtown, near the Roller Dome Skating Rink, Indian Creek Park, and the Nampa Public Library.
SIRCC provides mental health and wellness for those in need. They offer education courses on public health, parenting, family dynamics, and wellness.
The Southwest Idaho Recovery Community Center provides smoking cessation classes and Narcan distribution to those in need. Narcan is a life-saving opioid overdose medication. Those who are struggling with substance use disorder or mental health issues have options, and SIRCC is available to help Southwest Idaho.
Peer support coaches are trained in wellness and recovery. They help assess individuals while creating a plan for recovery, mental health, and long-term wellness. This could include community referrals to housing and employment assistance, to laundry and food pantry vouchers. SIRCC helps individuals of all ages who are trying to rebuild their lives.
SIRCC provides resources for the community with compassion. This philosophy extends throughout Canyon County, as they are centered in Nampa, Idaho, but care for all those around them.
I’ve read that the staff help connect individuals facing homelessness with living facilities, unemployed individuals with resume help, and other crucial connections within the community.
They help create connections with other community partners such as sober living spaces, behavioral health facilities, and more.

12-Step 
Aftercare Support The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.
Drug rehab in Idaho provides treatment for addiction to drugs. It usually includes a combination of treatment methods that can involve counseling, medication, and a variety of evidence-based therapies. Programs are designed to help individuals manage their substance use disorder long-term.
Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.
Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.
