This is the first dentist I've been to since I was 17. I was nervous as to be expected. Everyone was super nice. The dentist was amazing. He asked me what was the one thing I was worried about, I said pain. I never felt any pain. I had 2 teeth pulled yesterday (9/25/25). I still have not experienced any pain. I will recommend these dentists to everyone. Everyone there is so wonderfully amazing!!

While I was a little hesitant getting into treatment like most, the staff at sandstone were extremely patient and caring throughout the whole process. I attended and completed the dual diagnosis iop program while in treatment the staff at sandstone did an amazing job to make me feel welcome and comfortable and addressed and concerns quickly and effectively. The groups were very involved and really challenged me to grow as a person. After treatment I’ve been attending the alumni program that meets regularly and does fun events. It’s been a really good way to connect with others in the sober community and to get the extra support when I need it. I would highly recommend looking into sandstone if your considering treatment or haven’t found a place that’s right for you.

I went through sandstone twice. Once when I was 18 and again when I was 19. At the time I was not willing to admit that I had a problem with substances. I thought I had everything figured out. The years after I had graduated the program I was able to prove to myself that I still knew nothing about my alcoholism. I am grateful for sandstone since I wouldn’t have even been able to have any type of knowledge about my own substance use if it wasn’t for the amazing staff over at sandstone. They helped me get my foot through the door into the world of recovery. I don’t know where I would be without sandstone and I am beyond grateful for the effort the staff puts in to help people with their mental health/substance abuse. I now have a great relationship with my family, a true connection with my friends and most important I have a life worth living now. That is just the surface of what recovery has brought into my life. I have sandstone to thank for that!

Things I loved Sandstone Care
1) Group therapy, and learning new skills.
2) Once enrolled you can also schedule individual therapy.
3) After graduating the program you are invited to Alumni events. So you always feel connected to the program and get to meet previous graduates of the program. Some events I’ve been to were Lantern Festival, Animal sanctuary, Game Nights, and many more. There are also zoom sessions.
I really am thankful for the Alumni group and coordinators for always checking in.

Back in June of this year I was sent into the Kid/teen unit. It was my first time in a Mental hospital and I must say it was lovely. I met many amazing human beings and it was such a unique experience knowing that everyone else around me was down at rock bottom with me, but we were all still alive and helping ourselves. I heard so many tragic stories, yet these strong and beautiful people were still alive and kicking, even though all of our mental’s were bad. The staff was awesome too. I hope that everyone I met is doing better and I absolutely recommend this facility to those who are experiencing mental health issues.

Through changes within my life she helps me stay calm and think through how I am feeling and action I want to take with certain big decisions in school and in day to day activities. Knowing that this facility is in my community gives me so much peace of mind. If I had read the negative reviews before seeking help here myself, I likely would have been too scared to get help when I needed it. This place changed me for the better. My room and shower was way better than I expected, I felt comfortable in my room for my entire 6 day stay. The food was good. My daily schedule consisted of 4 groups a day, seeing a prescriber for medication and seeing a therapist to talk about my day. This daily routine helped me tremendously. Before I came here, I was crying at least one a day and my sleep schedule was messed up. The first night I was here, my sleep schedule was fixed in an instant and I only cried once during my 6 day stay. This place changed me and the other people who were there would tell you the exact same thing. Everyone I met was incredibly nice to me, the nurses, therapists, group leaders and especially the other people I met in there who we're trying to get their mental health together like me. I could comfortably talk about my state of mind without being judged. This place needs its praises. If you're struggling, please go here.

I was skeptical when I was getting signed up for the counseling but after I got a few classes in I knew it was going to be beneficial for me and my health. My counselor was Paul Padilla a very funny and kind guy who helped me lay the groundwork for my sobriety and giving me guidance when days were getting rough. All around glad I am done with treatment and excited for my continued recovery!

I’m currently at MHRC, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The location is fantastic—being so close to a variety of meetings and the vibrant downtown area makes it easy to stay connected and engaged. Getting around the city is a breeze, which adds to the convenience. My roommates are awesome, and we share a strong focus on recovery, which creates a supportive environment. The house manager is incredibly kind and always there to help. The only real person in reason why I feel like I finished my DUI was Bobbi! She was not only supportive and honest and kind but she believed in me and helped me with everything and always my above and beyond to try and help me with finishing my probation and just becoming a better person and my life is forever changed by her and I will always be thankful for Oddsey Counceling and meeting Bobbi!

Whoever the little boy was that answered the phone at 5:11PM on Feb. 11th was extremely condescending and rude to me from the beginning of the conversation.
Not sure why the condescending attitude when I can just call the next place and spend my money elsewhere.
Most places that do these type of services are very nice, welcoming & respectful.
Don’t waste your time feeling belittled by these scum while you give them your money, there are many options in the area ran by people who aren’t trash like these guys.
Perhaps they’ve been doing it too long & don’t have any other skills to make money. If so, it really shows.

It sure is a relief that there are people in this world who actually understand addiction and the mechanisms that fuel it. My wife and I owe Trish, Tj, Ms. Sharon, Becky, and everyone there our lives! They have all gone to bat for us to help us get our child home. And for once it’s looking like we will have him home soon! We couldn’t have made a better decision than to walk through that door and ask for help.
