I just don't understand all of the negativity spewed at this clinic. Whether those apposed were drug seeking or doctor shopping. Let me tell you. Dr Sung spent an hour and a half with me. He said my case was complicated. Which it is. I was treated with complete professionalism and respect. I was heard and treated kindly by all of the staff team. I would recommend Richard Young out patient clinic to anyone who needed help. I was not over medicated. In fact I was taken off of things I should have never been prescribed in the first place.

This is a wonderful facility!! The staff was so good to us and kind while my son was in there! It was such a hard time for us but they put our mind at ease that he was safe! I will never be able to repay what they did for my son💖

This is only because I didn't get a diagnosis, which was the point. Otherwise, treated me well, when to groups( even though most were meaningless) look, if you need help and time..its good. Just do followup upon exit

This place is a joke. They don't even keep patients long enough to get medication working on them before they let them out. They don't return phone calls so you can tell them the dangerous things the patient is saying. My relative went in crazy as ever and is still just as crazy as they were a week ago when they were court ordered to go there. But hey let's just release them. Ridiculous!

Zero stars if I could. I was there back in 2021 as a patient and I was put to sleep for 13 days. Stayed for 28 days and they just tried to entertain us with pamphlets about disorders but didn't teach us or have us learn anything. Sit watch a video that's it. They drug people up, they pin people down, they force you to take meds and not tell you what they are. I woke up after those 13 days and first thing I ate was apple pie because it was a holiday. I made it home before Christmas that year. The social worker was kind but offered no help at all. The staff was very rude, unhelpful and acted like they didn't believe a word I'd even say no matter what I said. That place is scary and needs to be shut down asap. Whoever you may send here please be aware and do not send anybody here no matter what. Larned does not help people. They will make the ones you love worse off. An adult abuse report was filed on my behalf but DCF said they had little to go on which was not true at all. It was all detailed and documented. I still have all the documentation. They should be sued for all the abuse they put on people. And when I got transferred out of Larned state hospital they lost my meds along the way and didn't have the person sign for mw which was protocol. They do not have rules here it's fair game to them.... I'm sorry for anybody that went here. By the way, the photo on Google is inaccurate. That's a picture of some place else Larned state hospital doesn't look like what's in the picture. Not even close!!! They are so decietful it's a crime!!!!

This place is awful!!! I wish I could give 0 stars. I was granted permission to see a family member and made plans to travel there from out of state. Then was told on a Friday afternoon after "everyone left" that I could no longer see him when I was supposed to leave first thing Monday morning to travel there. Stay away and do not let anyone you care about go here.

This place saved my life. It taught me how to live, showed me my strengths and showed me what it was like to have true friendships with women. I know this place isn't for every women, but it definitely was for me. I would recommend it for those who need this kind of long term gender specific treatment. I wouldn't be who I am today without it. 🥰

I had a great experience and a not so great one but the not so great was only because I was in the wrong I was keeping secrets I lied to staff to protect another girl don't keep secrets do the right thing always and you'll succeed idk about the newer staff but the ones who have been there awhile and the ones who have moved on are all amazing women who would do anything for you if you just let them in. I had tried to get sober before and had just got out of prison. I promised myself I was going to stay clean and live a good life. Within 6 months of leaving prison the thoughts of using were strong. I started drinking and looking for ways to get drugs. I knew I needed help or I was going to go down the same path I promised never to go down again. When I called the Bridge there was not any beds available at the time, I told them my situation and told them I really needed to get help or I am not sure I would be brave enough to make this phone call again. They allowed me to sleep in a counseling room temporarily until a bed opened. It is not easy living with a bunch of women and being told what to do, but if you are looking for people who really care and what you to succeed then the Bridge is an excelent choice. For any body who gives the Bridge a bad review.....I am not sure what you did, but you were probably in the wrong trying to get away with something you shouldn't have been.

I went there 8-18-2011. Saved my life. They showed me compassion when I had no compassion for anyone or anything. They gave me tough love. That's what I needed or I never would have gotten sober. In August I will have 12 years sober. They gave me hope. Thank you. Update 9-2-2024

14 years today. Thank you folks for being their when I was at my lowest. Updated 8-19-2025. I entered on the 18th with a holier than thou attitude, and with an attitude like that I was doomed. I had to trust the Staff to take care of me because I was no longer capable of doing it alone, and come to find out I didn't have to live like that anymore if I didn;t want to and I didn't to do it alone. I can't really write AA with less than five stars just because this helped so many people I don't care much for AA and I definitely don't care much for the meetings that I do like the 5:15 meeting very small very private and people know you and they're kind to you other than that I didn't care for any of the other meetings didn't care for the women's meeting on Monday nights didn't care for the noon meeting some people like it not me I think I'm going to go to a different meeting at a different town.

Pine Lake Behavioral Health is the best clinic I have ever been to. I've been to other clinics in the past and consulted with various psychiatrists, but none compare to the experience here.
Jessica is the most outstanding psychiatrist I've ever had; she truly listens to your concerns and cares deeply about your wellbeing, offering the best care and treatment options available.
