Outpatient Therapeutic Programming in Broward County

You may begin with the partial hospitalization program (PHP), which provides intensive care, as well as extensive therapeutic support, without requiring clients to stay overnight.
You’ll benefit from structured support, involving therapy and life skills training sessions. This is an ideal option, in particular, for anyone transitioning from a higher level of care like residential programming or detox.
PHP takes place five days a week, for a minimum of 20 hours. Meanwhile, the intensive outpatient program (IOP) is more flexible, with participants able to comfortably balance work or study commitments alongside recovery. This program is ideal for individuals who favor a holistic approach to care, with scheduling combining educational, life skills, and therapeutic sessions across 3-hour sessions, 3 times a week.
Support is also provided to help individuals with financial and social skills, as well as nurturing and maintaining healthy relationships.

New Directions continues to be a place of growth for our daughter as the program continually accommodates her changing needs, which have become less and less due to all of the support and knowledge that she has gained for having been part of NDFYA!
New Directions has a comprehensive program that allows young adults to pursue independence with supports and allows families to rest easy knowing their young adults are taken care of using a combination of professionals and mentors. It is a good way to disrupt patterns developed by continuing to live at home.
New Directions is a great program for young adults. They have an excellent staff and do their best to improve the lives of the students they serve.
