I started going to this place because after the death of a family member and a hospitalization due to a medical emergency. This place has been horrible. They reschedule appointments without telling me, when I have met with the psychiatrist and therapist there both of them were so inexperienced. The psychiatrist was on her deathbed and the mental health therapist was just staring at me during our session. She had nothing to say. She had just graduated college or something I think. She had no experience/words. This place needs more experienced individuals working there, not the staff they have now. Aside from the crap therapy and psychiatrist, they reschedule my appointments to meet with the psychiatrist without telling me, after giving me a card confirming the date and time of the appointment.
They act as if they are confused as to why my appointment got rescheduled and literally have nothing to say as to why it happened.

Westport House is well managed and well run. It has all the amenities you could ask for, with resources to get every aspect of your life back on track. The management and staff cares about you, and that's important when trying to better yourself. They really give you an upper hand. I hope I don't need to, but I would recommend anyone to stay here to get their life back on track, and I would again in a heartbeat.

After years of trying everything we could think of, my wife and I finally found Westport House. Our son was admitted quickly and efficiently, and, from that point on, our experience was incredible. After a couple of months we saw a noticeable change in our son. The staff was very timely in their correspondence with us and always treated us appropriately. During his time there, our son became actively involved in Alcoholics Anonymous, obtained employment, and began treating us and others with a level of respect we did not know he was capable of. He stayed there for 7 months, and I can say, it was very much worth every penny. Our son is still sober today and continues to attend the AA meetings that he went to during his time at Westport House. We cannot thank Westport House enough for giving us our son back. After 7 painful years, the change that he was able to make in his life is incredible, and it is all thanks to the great staff and services at Westport House.

After being in and out of many different rehabs, it was at Westport House that I learned how to live a brand new life. The staff was kind, loving, and compassionate. They showed me the way up and out of the horrible rut I was in. They also helped my family understand addiction, and what they needed to do to help me, and themselves. The atmosphere is relaxed, comfortable, and the incredibly supportive! Being able to see their therapists and clinical team was also essential in aiding my recovery. I'm so grateful for the life Westport House gave me.

I communicated that I needed help transferring to a new program. I received 0 help transferring. I lost out on a $10,000 student scholarship as they sat on it for 8 months refusing to do it until it expired. The counselor would only give me 15 minutes over the phone once a month when she was supposed to give me an hour 1x a week. The year I was a part of jawanio the doctor would tell me the day before we had an appointment, an appointment we never scheduled. This facility is for low functioning people with disabilities. Not for people with jobs who are parents. The program will drop you. I thought they cared about me. They don’t.

Had an awful experience with Dr. SHARMA. I would not recommend this doctor. She was duped by child and walked out without treatment and was previously dismissed by her qithout a lookup plan. My child was a successful patient there for 4 years until she encounter Dr. SHARMA.

I must say after using since 2005 i got clean shortly after joining there program the staff is like family the clients are very diverse from all races and walks of life and gives the place a great vibe for recovery i was able to go down on my dose of opiate blockage medication (methadone) monthly.

After more than 10 years on methadone I finally decided I was ready to taper. A lot of people never do which is fine but for me it got me stable enough to work and I wanted to carry on with my life. this felt nothing like the usual methadone clinic. it was a private sort of feel and I never felt like dr.leers or my counselor was every watching the clock./ tthey were just there to help.

Very good staff, beautiful furniture, and amazing clients. Odyssey House provides teenagers, and adults the right, enjoyable care they rightfully deserve. Staff are glad to assist and will not disrespect you in any sort of way. Programs, Trips, and many other exciting activities will be provided during your visits. Snacks are provided for teens and for adults coffee and other nutritional snacks.
