About A Safe Place Coed Sober Living Transitional Home

The residential program at A Safe Place Coed Sober Living Transitional Home is a 90 day program that treats alcoholism and drug addiction. Their programming is designed to support individuals through clinical interventions such as individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy. Regular classes and meetings are held to help educate and inspire clients to continue living a healthy lifestyle.

Individual therapy creates the space to explore the psychological challenges associated with the addiction. With the help of a professional, individuals are given the space and direction to talk about and process their emotions. Often this includes unresolved trauma, anger, depression, anxiety, and the need for more control or autonomy in life.

Group therapy involves treatment through the process of connecting in a group setting to discuss and work through mental, emotional, and physical issues. There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more.

Providence Sober Living played a pivotal role in my early sobriety journey. After spending two months in treatment, I found myself in exactly the right place. I spent 16 months there, and it felt like home. They have an excellent program and a strong sense of accountability that I desperately needed. Their program director is a great guy who was always there to support me. The houses are immaculately clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend Providence Sober Living to anyone seeking a supportive and nurturing environment for their recovery.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I spent 3 months at Providence House after going to treatment. It was a rough time for me & I'd never been to any sober living before so I was extremely nervous & emotional. Haley is the houses manager & was absolutely AMAZING! She instantly made me feel better the 1st time I met her. She is very kind & compassionate & really truly cares about all her girls at the houses. The other woman living in the house were super awesome & we all became like a sisterhood & will always remain great friends! I didn't want to leave but had to go back home & to my job. I honestly wish I could go back & just continue living at Providence house!! The houses all are very nice, clean, & safe. If your looking for somewhere great & special to do sober living hands down go to Providence house, you will not regret it! It helped save my life. I will forever be grateful for Providence house, Haley, & all my sisters still there!! 🩵
