Accepted Insurance

ARO Counseling Centers works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

The goal of drug rehab in Wisconsin is to address drug addiction as a complex issue that involves physical, mental, and relational aspects. During rehab, treatment focuses on each of these areas and gives you the tools you need to achieve and maintain sobriety.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

(WARNING!).... ALTHOUGH MY COUNSELOR JOE IS GREAT AND THE STAFF ARE ALL EXCELLENT PEOPLE, if your life and livelihood depends on the successful completion of a program and it revolves around positive and negative test I would highly suggest you choose another facility because I just had a test that was positive when it's an absolute medical impossibility and although it's not going to affect my completion of the program if you are in a situation where it's life or death or your financial security I would highly suggest that you check other options it's up to you whether you believe me or not but I just tested positive when it's absolutely impossible and I can't and clean conscience recommend this facility any longer.. again the people are great but it is what it is and some of us can't afford unreliable testing

I highly recommend using this clinic for counseling services. My experience here has been nothing but stellar, truly, and I say that as a person that has utilized many different therapists throughout my years. The building is older; it's nothing fancy and new; for me, that was perfect because I was relaxed and felt honestly as though I was going to a close friend's house where I could sit comfortably, open up, and talk. There's always a real glass coffee mug with fresh coffee to greet you. The office staff is nothing but kind and helpful. I had individual therapy with Mike, who I feel was one of the best therapists I've seen in my lifetime. I highly recommend seeing him if you like someone professional, easy to talk to with creative ideas to help you better understand yourself and your situation. Mike is not the least bit judgmental; early on I came to see Mike has been blessed with the ability to help others, he uses that gift to help others, and I could genuinely tell it is not just a job for him, but something that fulfills him.

I have been to a couple other treatment facilities with other counselors but Jesslyn here is by far the best counselor I have. She actually cares about Her clients. She is not like all the other ones that I have been too and seen. Like I said before, she actually cares. She’s not that type that only does what she does for a pay check. She does it cause she loves what she does and cares about the clients. I would recommend her to anyone. She is the BEST. THANK YOU JESSLYN.

Only go there for Holly. Jesslin is literally the worst counselor ever. All she does is cop an attitude and try and teach things she doesn't know. Always complaining openly to the patients about how little money she makes. Also hit me with a false positive and gave me no way to refute it.
