Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your experience with our office left you feeling frustrated, confused, and dissatisfied. We never want someone interacting with our practice to leave feeling that their questions were not answered or that the services and associated costs were not clearly explained.

We take concerns about fees, scheduling, communication, and interactions with our staff seriously. We also understand how frustrating administrative requirements can feel, particularly when the reason for them has not been clearly communicated.

Because Assessment Services provides confidential behavioral health and substance use-related services, we have a responsibility to protect the privacy of every individual who may interact with our practice. This means we cannot confirm whether someone received services here or publicly discuss, explain, correct, or dispute the specific circumstances described in an online review. We understand that this limits our ability to provide our perspective publicly, but maintaining confidentiality must come first.

What we can say is that we believe people deserve to understand the services being provided to them, what those services cost, and what may be required or recommended as part of the process. We also expect our clients and families to be treated with kindness and respect when communicating with our office. If someone feels that did not happen, we want the opportunity to hear about it and review the concern.

We would sincerely welcome the opportunity to address these concerns privately. The individual involved is encouraged to contact our office and ask to speak directly with a supervisor or clinical director so that the concerns regarding communication, services, and charges can be reviewed thoroughly. If they would like a spouse, partner, or another person involved in that conversation, we can also explain how to provide the appropriate authorization so that we can communicate openly with that person.

We recognize that receiving critical feedback is part of providing services to the community, and we take that feedback seriously. Our intention is not to dismiss anyone’s experience or argue with someone publicly. It is to listen, determine whether something could have been handled better, address concerns when appropriate, and continue working to provide professional, respectful, and transparent services.
