If u truly wanna change ur life this place is it but u have to want it and be ready to do it 100% put ur all in like it’s ur last chance at life great counselor ‘s that care about you and nice staff that treat u human great place if ur serious about changing ur life u can have nicotine patches and lozenges no chew or cigarettes most people get kicked out when caught if ur thinking ur gonna just sit through some classes mute you are so wrong you are gonna read ur life story in front of everyone and dig deep because if it ain’t accurate do it again u will read aloud every day or give feed back to the individuals that are sharing their assignments basically you’re gonna have to put in the work or get called out on BS so if ur not wanting to truly change ur life and be clean and sober then don’t use a spot someone else could have to get clean and sober be greatful you actually have an opportunity to turn your life around and be that son or that Father or husband you know u can be sober and clean you owe ur self and the ones around you that much a lot of people dont get a chance or second chance. If you really want it it’s really up to you.

I went to the treatment center at Zion in Clarinda. It was the best experience. The staff was amazing. The building was clean. They made sure you were always taken care of. They helped me tremendously. I felt like a new person after 28 days. I HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone taking the step to recovery. My personal experience was AWESOME.

This non profit works to serve societies smallest citizens. The campus itself has several buildings including a school, daycare, counseling center, administration building, gym/cafeteria, playground, housing complex and emergency shelter. I have donated food and goods to this place before. It's a great place to support and if you need it... a great resource for anyone in the community.

Completely fine for kids who struggle with behavior issues and its great for helping children socialize with eachother. I was only there for a month in 2024 , I cant say it for sure was not for me but I also appreciate the thought structures they teach. I was given alot of good advice from the staff, maybe just not a place for older teenagers. Other than that, understaffed, but they work hard, and each child is payed attention to equally.

I was there for about a year and a half in ‘81-‘82. Terri Bergantzel, Mary, Ron and Stan are the counselors that I remember. It was the best time of my teenage years. They were kind, helpful and understanding and I was a teenage male of the 80’s…made my share of foolish mistakes while I was there. Getting drunk on off campus time, a couple of fights and when I was there the girls were down one hall and the boys were down another with staff counter are between them at the corner. That led to its own additional issues! But through it all they were good to me and I thank them all.

CFR Has the most amazing staff members. These people truly care about the people that enter their doors. The understanding and compassion and care from the staff is unremarkable. I left early but I wish I wouldn't have, although I'm still clean I have considered going back for more treatment. The facility is nice and clean and they have everything you need to make you comfortable. They have rules but they're put in place for reasons. You get out of treatment what you put into it! I appreciate all of them.

I was here 2 years ago and a friend wanted recommendations for her son that's struggling bad right now. I of course said here. Yes I went back out within a few weeks cause at the time I couldn't get through mother's day sober due to not having them with me and I didn't utilize the skills I was taught. It makes me sad to see these poor reviews. The staff was great. the meals not bad. The nursing dept wasn't the friendliest but never rude. What's the worst that could happen if you give it a try? I went back to treatment and proud to say 226 days sober!!

I got sober and clean in the Santa Monica in 1990s and have stayed clean. I had tried doing it on my own and could never stick to it. It's been 20+ years and I'm a happy healthy wife, mother, and grandmother and still living one day at a time and loving it. ❤️

I've hosted a table every year at the spring fundraiser. The personal stories of the alumni are heartfelt and I'm always inspired after the event. The ladies that run the facilities work hard and care about the clients.

Amazing people doing amazing things!!

I checked myself into touchstone in 2017 I was so nervous but they all welcomed me with open arm's they were all so nice. They other people were younger than me and I was okay with that we all got a long and helped each other. Amy was my counselor and she helped me so much I'm forever greatful for all her help with the death of my father. I'm still in contact with a few of the people and staff members on social media. I'm still sober will be 5 years next march 2022

Absolutely horrible facility. My niece is currently locked up in Signature in the Liberty location I cannot get through to anyone on the phone. She has a severe mental disability and I have been caring for her for five years. I have no idea if she is getting properly treated or for that matter if she is alive and okay. I went to the facility in person and the receptionist\nurse said write down your number and someone if call back if they want to. Seeking legal guidance to ensure my niece is not lost in the system.

My gf is currently being illegally detained. She is not on a 96hr hold and she said she wanted to ADA and they told her no. She is past the 96hr mark and the state statue says must be released "before" the 96hr mark. I will be retaining an attorney.

They are professional and respectful. I was treated very well during my evaluation.

Very nice place and the staff are great people!!!

Best tribe ever. They helped with my mothers funeral proceeding a couple of years ago and it was beautiful. They helped her in ways no one could prior to her passing and I am forever grateful.
