This place was a nightmare for me when I was seven or 8. It was the worst year of my life there version of behavior control is putting you in a restraint that would turn your arms numb or even tell you could not feel them any more I could go on abot the way they would try to control the kids. They would also feed you food that was not healthy I gaind 20 to 30 pounds there. And when I got in trouble one time and we had boxing practice or whatever they wanted it to be they had the kids who have been in trouble that week in corners for about 2 hours. Then when it was over and it was just the kids and staff they asked me and this other kid if we wanted to box they didn't stop it or anything they sat there and laughed as the other kid started crying and falling over and I didn't know how to react I was 7 and I thought I was doing the right thing because mr child's and Mr Alan stood there and encouraged me then after about 30 minutes of that they finally said enough. Then there was another time were they made everyone in the pod stey up tell I dont even know we never new the time ever unless we were in the school but they released us 1 by 1 to bed until there was 3 of us left and I cant even remember why they did this but I was the last one left as a 7 year old I learned how that place really cared about there kids the higher ups had no idea like mr Jessie probably had no idea this stuff happened. And I think this is the worst part they choose when your discharged on how your behavior is i was there for a year I think or longer and the only reason my behavior never got any better was because they would agg you on tell you would get mad or they dont know how to some did some did there jobs amazingly but it was only a few. You got to see your parents but it was once a month if you were good enough to get a day visit or a day pass sometimes you could go home if you were even better and I did everything to see my parents but it broke my heart every time I had to say goodbye and know I wouldn't see them again for a whil. This place looks so good and like a farry tail trust me it's too good to be true. As a kid they wouldn't even let you play with bugs or really be a kid there. I wonder why kids would run away and they would keep it secret from the kids. That place has still never left my head and im almost 18 and there were teens my age there with 7 year olds. There was a kid who got sent to a mental hospital for some unknown reason he just was up screaming "get out of my head" almost all night until they finally tended to him and he was gone for a week and came back with bandages on his wrists. I dont think this is a place you want to send your kids this only the things I vividly remember my mom regrets sending me there to this day they weren't the ones who helped me it was myself trying to SURVIVE in thay place acting on instinct and trama I gained from there still lives with me today. I wish I could have NEVER been there I think my life would probably be alot easier in some ways. There was some people who did actually care like miss Moore she was the only one who actually cared for the kids and saw them as people. And when kids were sick they would give us this salty chicken noodle soup every time no matter what sickness or day or staff member it was always the same and would never give you a drink with it and if you had strep throat that soup was he'll it burned your throat because of the salt quantity in it and miss more was the only one when I was there to give me something different I had strep for a week and she promised me she would bring me gushers and a Gatorade if I was good I still had strep but I was good all week and I got those gushers and gatterade and ya it hurt eating it but I ate it crying not because it hurt so bad but that the fact that she was nice to me and got me something different then the soup. I dont know if this place has changed but there new building they got i was there when they moved the kids in. It was like a prison line up moving over there. I was in HELL

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

7/10. Please parents do not send your children here! Yes, there’s amazing staff such as , ms. misky, ms yesica and ms iris (i really don’t know how to spell their names) but the children there are terrible! i was just released from being in that place for a week and it was traumatic. kids there runaway 24/7 , they say sexual comments about others and trust me nobody cares. as much as i loved every single staff member in there no matter who told or what happened it was never solved. NOBODY deserves to be there. every staff member made a very big difference in my life and i greatly appreciate them. but please parents look at counseling for children or therapy! do not look here.
