I haven't personally been a patient here, but I have had several friends complete the inpatient program for substance abuse, and they all seemed to like it. I know you can still smoke cigarettes, but no cell phones the first few weeks and limited if any contact at all with the outside world. It's coed, so that probably helps people when making a decision for an inpatient facility. Especially when we're talking 30+ days or more, detoxing off any and all things good, lol! The entrance to check in is tricky to find too, it's actually on the back side, or really, it might even be the side of the building under an awning. Hit the buzzer, and someone comes to help you get checked in.

The absolute best. Words cannot describe how much this place and the people there mean to me. Any negative reviews are not a result of VH's wrongdoing. You get out what you put in and if you put yourself in all the way- you get the world in return. I have made so many connections and strong relationships that will last a lifetime because of VH. I have been here for about 10 years now and have seen the staff come and go. I will say that yes there are some things that need to be worked on here. But with that being said my family and I are in the process of moving, and chose to stay in the state near this area because of this clinic and the select few employees here who make this clinic what it is. First Susan the nurse has been a blessing, she is always so nice, compassionate, and helpfull by far one of the best nurses I have ever had the pleasure of working with and I feel that she is under appreciated and should be praised for her hard work and care to her patients. Second Leta, a newer counselor who has listened to my constant jabbering and never makes me feel judged and helps in any way she can to make me feel heard and assists in helping me stay on track. Next Daniel a very pleasent person and usually the first person you see for your treatment needs, he always tries to make you feel welcome and helps with whatever you need. And last the new pharmacist he had big shoes to fill when the last pharmacist left, and has been doing an amazing job since. I would say if your looking for an affordable treatment center with these people who I have mentioned caring for you. You should have a successfull transition into a sober life.

So where do I start I came to nova on February 18 of 2025 I was 22 full of anger and pain I lived six hours away from home I came to nova because I wanted something better outta my life I was tired of all the pain my addiction caused me when. I saw Marc Darby (not sure his credentials) and he was really great. I haven’t always had wonderful experiences with mental health providers but he makes you feel comfortable and explains everything he’s thinking and I felt like he truly cared about my well being- that is rare. The receptionist was also wonderful, she was so kind and helpful with my confusing insurance plus she found a woman who helped me navigate that. I’ve never experience all around such great care from each person I worked with. The pharmacy had a few issues so it was a wait but they explained why and it worked out.

They were very caring, knew your name instantly before even meeting you, and did the best they could to reassure you when you needed it. The nurses, techs, doctors, and therapists there were amazing! My granddaughter has gone there many times and they know her well. They understand the issues that she has and they are Very patient and kind to help her through her struggles. The doctor that she normally had there took time to understood her so well and knew very well how to talk to her and help her.

I was at uta Halee in 2021, I got the march 21st and left may 2nd. My experience there was amazing I was in the shelter waiting for a bed at nova treatment community, Mrs Robinson was always there for me when I needed to talk to someone. Mrs collins was always fun to be around, Mrs Philips had a great sense of humor, Mr Harris was absolutely amazing he greeted me with kindness he always made sure I had a smile on my face, when I first got there I slept for 3 days straight and he would peak his head in my room making sure I was okay! Of course I was really shy at first but I made it through my stay. Mrs Jackson and me never got close and Mrs Hawthorne and me always had great conversations she even got to see my comedy personality. Every Wednesday was my favorite day because I got to enjoy the culinary class they had! Sometimes on the weekends they would allow us to use the tv to watch our favorite networks no matter what the movie was it just had to be appropriate. Right was my probation officer dropped me off a fight happened upstairs a girl punched another girl 82 times in just two minutes because they were left with one other staff member, I always had fun there. When you shaved you were supervised to save people from self harm! I did watch a few people runaway and watched someone beat up a deputy. But that told everyone that they needed to be somewhere more intense to straighten themselves up! Overall my stay there was amazing!!!
