I did a lot of research to find a treatment center to help me with my addiction to Adderall and Kratom. From the several tours I went on, I chose bliss because I felt in good hands with Gary, the owner. I can’t imagine you interact directly with owners at most treatment facilities. Gary was my primary contact from the moment I contacted Bliss. I genuinely feel that he cared about me and my recovery. That extends to the rest of the staff as well. In particular I want to shout out Gabi and Alex, two incredible, authentic and honest facilitators who care deeply about the clients here. When I spoke, I felt heard and seen, which when coming in with such a lack of confidence made all the difference in the world. The facilitators give a shit about our recovery. I doubt I could say that anywhere as confidently as I do with Bliss. Through my time here, I uncovered so much more addictive behavior I had only suspected were issues previously. I’m headed out back in the world sober, with faith in myself and tools in my pocket to tackle the road ahead. I’ll always be an addict. It is in our coding. But if you’re serious about getting sober and turning things around, I highly recommend the team at Bliss.

Good spot. Staff are incredible they make sure you have everything you need and are well cared for. From the over night staff, to the chef all the way up to the owners everyone’s in it for the right reasons. Good people. Good place to go if you’re serious about getting clean. Also the food is ridiculous, Chef Tony is on another level of talented. I’ll never stop missing those fresh smoothies every morning.

I have been through just about every recovery center in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Long Beach twice. Bliss is by far the most accommodating and efficient recovery center I have experienced. I would HIGHLY recommend giving this place a try if you are experiencing addiction issues of any sort.

Accepted Insurance

Bliss Recovery works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

12-step icon12-Step
Participants engaged in 12 step programs receive intensive peer coaching (sponsorship) and community support. Spiritual development as a means of achieving psychological and emotional healing and growth is the cornerstone of 12 step recovery, but religious affiliations are not required. Meetings are free, anonymous, and open to the public, though specialized formats are available, including groups for seniors, teens, and family members. Evening, night, and day meetings are conducted year-round in most communities.

Treatments

Alcoholism, or alcohol use disorder (AUD), is defined by alcohol dependence. This is a state the body reaches when it experiences withdrawal symptoms in the absence of alcohol. A person who has AUD craves alcohol and continues to drink despite adverse consequences. Because withdrawing from alcohol can pose health risks, individuals with AUD should seek professional alcohol rehab in California to overcome their alcohol addiction. This process typically involves medical detox, rehabilitation, and maintenance.

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Rational behavior therapy supports addiction recovery by helping you identify and challenge irrational beliefs that fuel substance abuse and addiction. Using cognitive restructuring and emotional regulation techniques, you learn to manage stress, reduce your cravings, and maintain sobriety.

Cognitive behavioral therapy in California is a method that therapists often use for the effective treatment of substance use disorders. It is based on the principle that substance abuse stems from unhelpful ways of thinking and patterns of behavior, which can be changed by helping the individual learn better ways of coping.

The goal of couples therapy in California is to strengthen the couple's relationship. The therapist may take one or more approaches to counseling which may include the Gottman method, emotionally focused therapy, behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic couple's therapy.

Family therapy offers a platform for members to have an open dialogue about the challenges that addiction has placed on the family unit. Through guided sessions, therapists can help families develop healthy communication skills and address unresolved issues. By working together toward a common goal, they help to support their loved one's sobriety.

For clients who are struggling with ambivalence toward change, motivational interviewing in California can help strengthen their commitment to change. Using a conversational method, the therapist helps you explore your motivations and empowers you to make the changes you desire.

This the best place to go for detox and recovery. All the staff went above and beyond during my stay. They even gave me clothing and a guitar because they knew it would help me stay sober and help with my recovery. If I could give 10 stars I would!!!

From the moment I contacted Bliss. The owner Gary answered the call. I explained to him my circumstances. Chronic relapses to fentanyl. Over 9 years of using and not being able to get it right or help myself. Within a few minutes I was connected to the director Tim and they had a room for me. Tim made the transition as seamless as possible. Everyday there at Bliss recovery was implemented from the day you get there. Nurses, Doctors, Therapists, sound baths, the gym, hikes, groups, meetings outside of bliss I could go on and on about the resources that are provided but truly it’s the people that work there from ownership all the way down the line. Bliss gave me another opportunity at life. One that I couldn't see or comprehend for myself. If anyone is out there truly seeking help and even if you’ve tried a million times and haven’t been able to get over the hump give yourself one more chance and see if these guys can help…. Thank you Gary, Rich, Edgar, Tim, Gabi and the rest of the crew you guys are doing work that no one could ever put a price tag on…. Thank you Bliss

Very relaxing environment, felt as if I was at home my entire stay. So many commodities from sound baths, to a wonderful chief, a personal trainer, easy going 1 on 1 therapy, and engaging outings that let you feel relived while detoxing.

We did an intensive search for a rehab facility that specializes in alcohol addiction for about a week before committing and admitting my best friend into the facility. Staff is always very calm and collected, one of the owners is always there keeping an eye out my friend couldn’t stop raving about their alcohol detox protocol. If you’ve been struggling with alcohol abuse I wouldn’t look anywhere else. The reviews are pretty spot on.

After a recent fentanyl overdose it was evident that my friend needed intervention. Seven different rehab stints, 3 overdoses later we were able to find Bliss Recovery. I cannot praise Gary (owner) enough. The man was so involved in Kevin’s treatment and pretty much kept Kevin from leaving the facility multiple times. Gary was god sent. We are now on 64 days sober. The owners allowed me to visit him while he was in treatment and this place is so organized and so clean it’s unbelievable. If you’re looking for a luxury drug rehab with a strong fentanyl detox program then please give Bliss a try. I promise you that you will most likely stay and complete the program.

Honestly... 10 stars if i could.... I was nervous about seeking help, but the admissions coordinator, made the entire process confortable and welcoming. Their team took the time to explain my medication options, monitor progress, and aftercare planning. With an amazing Clinical team, paired with their incredible therapy program, I felt supported every step of the way. This treatment center is a safe haven for anyone ready to take control of their life with Bliss.
