Chris Howard and Ethos recovery is very popular in LA for being one of the most successful treatment programs in the area. I just came back from a brief relapse and decided to start living at the ethos apartments. Chris has already been massively supportive towards me and I’ve known him for years so I probably couldn’t find anywhere more nurturing to help me get back on my feet. The community at the sober living is completely recovery oriented and the energy here is great. Ive been struggling with addiction for about 8 years and I’m only 21. In and out of treatments so familiarity and community is pretty important to me. Love Ethos, love Chris. Nothing but appreciation and support for Ethos. This is the second time they’ve saved my life. If you’re genuinely struggling w addiction, absolutely the most successful program with the absolute best staff

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Sober living homes in California offers an intermediate sober environment that has less structure than inpatient rehab but more than typical home environments. This makes it a good option for those who have concerns about transitioning back to the "real world" after treatment. Residents can typically live at the halfway house as long as they want, if they are willing to follow house rules. These may include a curfew, chores, and maintaining a job.

Treatments

Alcoholism, or alcohol use disorder (AUD), is defined by alcohol dependence. This is a state the body reaches when it experiences withdrawal symptoms in the absence of alcohol. A person who has AUD craves alcohol and continues to drink despite adverse consequences. Because withdrawing from alcohol can pose health risks, individuals with AUD should seek professional alcohol rehab in California to overcome their alcohol addiction. This process typically involves medical detox, rehabilitation, and maintenance.

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

Programs

Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy in California is a method that therapists often use for the effective treatment of substance use disorders. It is based on the principle that substance abuse stems from unhelpful ways of thinking and patterns of behavior, which can be changed by helping the individual learn better ways of coping.

During group therapy, men and women learn to express their emotions openly in a non judgmental setting. This helps you process your feelings and reduces feelings of social isolation that are often associated with addiction.
