This clinic USED to be a beacon of light and hope for those struggling with addiction. As a former client who successfully tapered off methadone, I will always be grateful to the amazing people who helped me get stability in my sobriety. Sadly, most of those employees have left. In addition, it has been heartbreaking to see the holistic treatment as well as the education about the Red Road to Wellbriety disappear. After finding out about my own Native heritage, Great Circle also gave me an incredible sense of community with other native people as well as the addiction/recovery community. All that is gone. I care about that place and the good it has done for the community. It truly was the only MAT center that created an environment that was welcoming, understanding and a place where even the clients were kind and supportive of each other. I hope that Great Circle can get back to being the beacon of hope it used to be and that our community members need. I want others to have the experience that I did...before things changed. Separately, MAT centers as a whole don't offer aftercare when those in recovery need it most. Coming off of methadone can be incrediblely difficult and for some, the withdrawal symptoms last for quite some time. Despite these facts, I was only allowed to attend recovery groups for 6 weeks after I tapered off the medication. This made me feel that since they were no longer getting money from my insurance for the medication I was getting there, I was not allowed to go to their groups. This was difficult because I was cut off from my sense of community during a time I needed it. Great circle, you created such an amazing environment that was unique from any other MAT center and it changed lives!!! You can get that back, please try to get that back! 🫶

Worst experience I have ever had at a treatment facility. The Doctor insisted I take 30mg of Suboxone on my first day and I instantly went into severe precipitated withdrawal. All of the doctors and staff didn’t know what to do with me. 4 hours after closing time they were trying to kick me out, however I was so sick I couldn’t move let alone drive, so they carried me to a staff member’s car and dropped me off at my house. I was barely able to make it inside my house as they didn’t offer any assistance whatsoever, so I immediately plopped on the floor once I was inside. As I laid in the same spot curled up in a ball while vomiting my guts out I thought I was going to die. After two days of laying on the floor, unable to keep any fluids down, I called emergency services and they said I was severely dehydrated and could have died if I didn’t get help. The Great Circle NEVER reached out to me to see if I was ok. The whole experience was handled so unprofessionally I couldn’t believe that I went through that. I’m sure they are a great clinic, I just hope people learn from my mistake and research subs before trusting a doctor. They honestly have great services and more amenities than any other facility I’ve ever been to. Don’t let my experience veer you away from this facility, just be aware that you should not start with a high dose of subs even if the doc insists.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Clients who wish to remain in their homes while in recovery may elect to enroll in an outpatient rehab, many of which offer evening, night, and weekend services to accommodate clients' schedules. Most outpatient facilities provide multiple levels of care to align with clients' evolving needs, including partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) for clients who require robust support and supervision. Addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training are the most common treatment modalities.
