About Harmony Healing Center – Delray Beach

They have a variety of treatment levels that are designed to support you through each stage of your recovery journey.

The highest level of support is their partial hospitalization program (PHP). This involves spending the majority of your day at the center but still returning home every night. This option offers incredible levels of supervision and support that help carry you through the toughest days of recovery.

For those who aren’t able to commit to the PHP hours, Harmony Healing Center offers a standard outpatient program. This involves attending a few individual and group therapy sessions each week. If you need more support than this standard program then you can join the intensive outpatient program to receive more contact hours every week.

In every level of care, you’ll begin your time with Harmony Healing Center by taking a thorough assessment that helps the staff understand your situation and needs. They then customize their programs to build individual treatment plans. These plans combine several different evidence-based methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and the 12-step program.

Having seen psychiatrists and prescribers for over two decades, Nathan is by far the one I have benefited from the most. He has a remarkable ability to quickly attune himself to my mental status while maintaining an open dialogue about medications. He is highly knowledgeable and on the cutting edge of his field — and in today's world, his patience is genuinely rare. There is a true willingness on his part to talk until you fully understand, so you leave his office feeling both heard and clear on your next steps.

Harmony Healing Center – Delray Beach works with several private insurance providers, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.

This place has been such a huge blessing for me. I have been a patient of the Delray Center for years now. This facility and the Providers here at Delray Center have truly saved my life and helped me in so many different ways which I am extremely grateful for. Dr. Rodriguez, and Maykelyn Felipe are incredibly amazing beyond words can say! All of the providers I've had over the past years have been absolutely wonderful!! I do not have not one negative thing to say about any one of them! To me, they are my family and have treated me with so much compassion and care and I am truly, truly grateful from the bottom of my heart for being a patient here at the Delray Center! I'm so happy to say that each and every one of my providers and staff have been completely 100% there for me whenever I've needed literally anything!!❤️ Thank you all for being so patient, understanding, caring, and to the providers that have been with me throughout the years at Delray Center for Healing over this wonderful past year I most certainly could have never ever done any of this without you all! You all truly do care about your patients from my personal experience, I must say. The Delray Center has helped me on my journey in life so much, thus far, I am still a work in progress, and I have a long way to go! But, if it wasn't for such a kind, patient, helping, and compassionate staff and facility I definitely wouldn't be on this positive path in my life and continuing to move forward on that same path as of today. I want to thank the entire staff, all the providers, nurses and Doctors which have helped me throughout the years as a patient. You are All Amazing! ❤️ Truly, thank you all SO much for all you do!
