I went into SoundCloud broken and came out repaired. I was addicted, depressed, anxious, and self-harming, and SunCloud staff helped me improve all of that through amazing 1 on 1 counseling, 12 step and self-help groups, healthy socialization, medication, and tons of patience and quality care. Staff, with their humanistic, dedicated BHS/techs (Go Ana! Lara! Monica! Tee!), nurses (All staff exceptional!), therapists and psychiatrists (Go Kelly! Dr. Mehta!), and others, listened, coached, and educated, while showing great concern and interest in helping me become whole again. They worked hard to bring calm and mindfulness out in me and the other patients through psych, medical, substance, food, yoga, art, and queer therapies. Yes, there are rules and schedules, but they are fair, doable, and have obvious therapeutic purpose. Nope, you can't smoke, but you do have access to phones, computers, TV (with Netflix, Spotify, YouTube, Disney +, etc.), the outside, and fitness daily. While they have some temperature issues-- bring a sweater/hoodie no matter the time of year as parts of the place get chilly, it is clean and comfortable. Their yoga instructor (Go Whitney!), chef, food staff, and food are beyond wonderful. Outpatient/aftercare in Chicago was just as helpful and professional. It's my eight-month sobriety anniversary and I am still improving: I am working again, and I am grateful to be alive. Much of that I owe to SunCloud staff for lifting me back up, giving me the tools I needed, and teaching me to keep heading in the right direction. Please all staff know: You are making a difference and changing lives! If you really want help and are ready to work hard to make your life better-- something you've got to decide to do for yourself and then actually DO, I can't recommend a better team or agency to help you get there and stay there!

After a Two + years battle with a very broken mental healthcare system, we finally found the right fit for my daughter and that was enrolling her in the Suncloud program. The therapists are inclusive, offer care without judgement. The staff is always available to family members as needed. The p0rogram keeps the patients focused by introducing new topics each week. Something that is so comforting about Suncloud is, before releasing a patient from their program, they make sure the patient has their after care with new therapists set up! I HIGHLY recommend Suncloud.

SunCloud sets the standard for integrative treatment, and the standard is high, The treatment is cohesive, sophisticated and focused not just on the symptoms but also the underlying trauma beneath the surface. This approach took a while for me to understand but once I did and once I believed in it, I started to feel better, I never believed I could be free from my self destructive and very sad and anxious self until I sat in a few process groups at suncloud and began to feel the power of the treatment I was in. These guys know what they are doing. The community there is wonderful and supportive, Dr Kim is a very very good doctor, Recovery for me is really starting to happen. It feels like a miracle and I thank the whole team at suncloud for never giving up on me.

Gateway is the perfect place if you want a second chance to change your life. They helped me to get back on my feet, they would always listen to me and would come up with a solution or a coping skill so I would feel better. In few words: they saved my life. Shout out to the staff for being so wonderful.

Kediz house is so amazing the staff treat you with respect (Ms Debra) Mrs (Monet) and the supervisor (MR Eddie )and (MS Karen)( Ms Patricia )Ms Judy)are very down to earth.. the only thing the staff asked for you to be very serious about your recovery plan and I love their structure at this place drugs tested is every day and housing is available if u serious about your business and the food is good if chef Wayne cook 10⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place turned my life around although some people were there using it as a shelter what they were doing was none of my business at that time because the focus was on me. Everything from the food, meetings, nurses, and even social activities were nice they really helped me stay clean for over 10 years now ❤️❤️❤️

My wife Kelly Smith is coming to Gateway, the Taylor Street location, within a week or so I hope this is a good place for her. Some questions I have if anyone is kind enough to please answer them for me: 1. Can she bring in a vape pen? (Tobacco) 2. How do phone calls go? 3. How does visiting go? If I don’t have an ID, can I be denied entry? 4. Any helpful advice you have for me to help her adjust when she gets back home? 5. Any tips/ insider info you could give me to tell her to help her stay be more comfortable?! 6. What’s one thing you wish you brought to treatment but forgot? Anything you suggest to bring?? 7. I went to gateway rehabilitation and the food was good. But the best part of my experience was my counselor. Virginia Garcia was absolutely fabulous. She went above and beyond her duty for me. She made me feel at ease and answered all my questions. She is lovely and kind. Ty Virginia.

I am very proud and thankful for the special care they provide here to the vets. This hospital is fantastic, everyone is welcoming and helpful, everything is great really, except for the food. The staff is outstanding, thank you very much for your support.

This was our first time experience in this hospital. We were treated very nice by all the staff. They were very helpful. The rooms and hospital is very clean... ER doctors saved my husband's life... very, very thankful for all of them. Such a transformative experience! Naturally, the reviews you read for addiction treatment centers are going to skew negative but don't let that deter you if you believe you need help. Not only did I have an amazing experience with staff, I've built a strong foundation of community among my peers who were also seeking treatment. While encouraged by their use of an evidenced-based model, the incorporation of the 12-steps had me skeptical at first but now I'm fully committed. If you feel the 12 steps aren't for you, they also provide information about alternatives such as SMART Recovery and Recovery Dharma. My one complaint would be that I had chosen to participate in the in-person IOP during intake, but was somehow placed into the virtual IOP. Once it was recognized it was a quick fix and it didn't impact my start date or anything like that.

Could not have been more pleased with my experience and have grown so much in my 10 months of outpatient treatment. Cleidy and Mark will be in my recovery forever and cannot thank enough.

It’s incredibly difficult to capture in a few sentences the positive changes I have experienced in my life due to my time at Positive Sobriety Institute. The saying “you get what you put in” is a very apt one. PSI helped me set a foundation that has changed my life in a way that merely must be witnesses. There’s a reason I only have Just For Today. PSI gave me the toolkit needed to get over the one year hump of being clean from alcohol, drugs, and other terrible things. I am forever in their debt. I only have JFT, may you find this place as well, do the footwork, so that “no addict ever need die from the horrors of addiction”. Thy will be done. cheers.

Entered with a high level of apprehension, low expectations and uncertainty. My experience here exceeded my expectations. The group of individuals and the process help build a very stable foundation for me. The psi leadership group st all levels weee outstanding. While the results are yet to unfold I left a better person and a solid vision of the future my group associates many have continued the connection through our journey.

A staff of expert professionals run PSI. They have great insight and know how to get right to where it counts. Definitely the best place together help with addiction in the Chicago area

A breath of fresh air in our very broken health care system. It works if you make it work, you make it a seamless experience. Everyone in the counseling department was so genuine and real, that is very hard to find when you don't have private insurance.

Been going to Family Guidance for awhile now and I absolutely recommend this methadone clinic to anyone struggling with opiate addiction. The staff are mostly friendly and it's easy to get into the clinic within a day or two. Once you get to the correct methadone dose the dope sickness is mostly gone and then you can slowly get back to a normal life. I've had a few counselors since going here and all were nice and professional but my current one Gary is Awesome. He seems to really care and is always helpful. I would most likely be dead if I didn't sign up at Family Guidance. If you're looking for a way to stop using dope give this clinic a try.

A customer satisfaction coordinator reached out to me regarding a concern and did not follow through. I called 4 times starting a few months ago and have not received a return call. My messages were courteous. My issue was never addressed and I have been repeatedly ignored. I’m disappointed that the person who handles issues is not addressing my recent 2 issues. With the exception of my last two concerns I have been pleased with my care, which is why my recent experiences have been disappointing. Customer care extends beyond the facility. I am very disappointed.

If you are a parent reading this, I know how hard it can be when your child struggles with anxiety or depression or any mental health issues. Looking into a PHP or IOP program is never on a parent’s expected list of experiences they think they will have with their child. However, I truly have so much gratitude for all they did for my daughter, and the support they also provided to me during family therapy. I felt like I had a village helping me through a difficult time. She’s thriving now, and the tools they taught her will stay with her a lifetime. Trust the process, and trust Compass.

The outpatient trauma & PTSD program has been a lifesaver for me. The entire team led by Dr. Natalie Gela is incredibly skilled, compassionate, and deeply committed to the healing process. They create an environment where it’s possible to be vulnerable, make progress, and feel genuinely cared for. The combination of group therapy structure, individualized attention, and evidence-based approaches made all the difference for me. I’ve learned tools I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life, and I'll be leaving with more hope and strength than I ever thought possible. I'm profoundly grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and dedication of everyone here. If you are struggling and looking for real support, this program is truly exceptional. Composes, incredible! Our son was really having a hard time with school refusal and kept wiping out in classes because he’s on the spectrum. When things got really bad this year we pulled him out and sent him to compass where he learned a lot of skills to calm down. He learned to cognitive behavioral therapy and a couple of different techniques similar to that which he now carries around in a binder. We were also able to use compass to transition to another school, and the team was just incredible. They went above and beyond… Not just helping him learn the skills but frankly, they were very genuinely fond of him. He’s going to miss them a lot, and this is his first week out of the program… He keeps talking about how proud of him they were when he graduated! I cannot recommend them enough.

I was transferred from another hospital to the neuropathy. I suffered a mild stroke. The staff in ICU we're fabulous and the best. I wish I could recommend the entire department to a daisy award

I am surprised to see so many one stars, I have been to MANY treatment centers, and this one 3 times! This is my absolute favorite. The nurses make it so comfortable and genuinely care about all the patients. The groups and who run them are all very informed on what they are talking about and they keep my attention! I love how they have NA or AA members from the outside come to chair meetings for us on the weeknights. They are all also alumnis from this program! I think that shows this place is good. Also, the food is awesome! For me, I came from jail so it was HUGE step up but I still always enjoy it. We get to chose off of a menu what we want to eat for each day. Another perk, they take you out for cigarettes through the day, AND they take everyone (that is out of detox) bowling every or every other wednesday. I have nothing bad to say about this place!

I went through detox at another facility. Researched for facility to do 28 day IOP. Was blessed that I found keys to recovery. Wonderful program, staff that understands and cares. I just reached 18 months of sobriety thanks to Keys and am actively involved in helping others. I still keep in touch with my IOP counselor from Keys as I will be forever grateful for the path she/they have laid down for me to follow. The key thing to recovery is, YOU have to want it. If you want what we have, follow the steps offered to you. I am blessed and forever grateful that I found Keys to Recovery and applied what I was taught.
