About Ocean View Sober Living Recovery Center

The sober living home provides individuals with an opportunity to live with others who are in recovery and are dedicated to maintaining their sobriety. Generally, these transitional homes host individuals who have recently come out of inpatient or residential levels of care but who are not ready to move back to their home environment yet. To live at this facility, clients must engage in an outpatient program, maintain their abstinence, participate in house meetings, and follow the house rules.

Outpatient Treatment is required in order to live at the sober living home. This commonly consists of participation in groups such as SMART Recovery or the 12 Steps, along with ongoing mental health counseling.

Ocean View Sober Living Recovery Center may accept multiple insurance plans, such as Cigna, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Beacon, United Healthcare, and more. Be sure to check with the insurer to verify out of network benefits and other coverage information.

The beacon house let me in with open arms all I had to be is willing to go any lengths over victory over alcohol. They taught me the tools for recovery with solid teachers, group countries, the groups open the door of what I needed to work. They gave me a spiritual tool kit which I took the action and got amazing results. I've been 3 years sober and still applying what I was taught and the house and now living my life on life's terms.

All around good place if you want to be around good energy and recovery oriented people. I cant tell you how it is today but back in 2015 it was the most amazing FREE rehab ID ever been too. They took us on trips into the montains, to the beach, had cookouts for us, the whole 9! Hopefully its still going strong. 5/5

I was at Beacon House for the entire month of April, 2020. Worst experience I have had at a so called treatment facility. Covid-19, not withstanding. I was housed in one of their buildings. Due to Covid-19, we had limited contact with society on the outside. Yet, we still lacked for proper food and beverages. The food brought to our building was almost always cold and portions ridiculously small. When we ran out of water bottles, we were told to fill them from the sink!! We had little to no snacks, which was absurd as Beacon House had individuals driving company vehicles on a daily basis. Yet, the worst issue I and others encountered, was an individual being in charge of myself and others who's only QUALIFICATION was the fact he had around three years sobriety. This man would YELL, SCREAM and HOLLER, when there was a perceived issue with one of the residents. His people skills were terrible. Just because someone has a few years of sobriety does by no means make them qualified to council someone. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BEACON TO ANYONE IN NEED OF A PROGRAM!

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in California teaches participants constructive ways to stay clean and sober. Treatment revolves around helping individuals stop using the substance they are addicted to and learn healthy habits to avoid relapse.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I was court ordered to go to treatment in order to get my boys back. RIVERSIDE COUNTY CPS hadn't provided me any real help. I was told of Ocean view I called and was able to reserve a bed. They required $150.00 and enough food for 30 days. I was amazed! The house manager J. ... Read More
