Staff is helpful and facility is clean. They offer 2 maintence programs for opiate addiction. Methadone and Suboxone. They take most insurance or you can pay cash. The methadone program cost roughly $125 per week. However they will work with cash paying patients that need some type of payment arrangement. If you need help with your addiction and don't feel that you're ready to quit cold turkey on your own Discovery is a positive alternative.

If I could, I would absolutely live at Cove Forge forever!! This place has helped me tremendously... the best facility by far for drug and alcohol dependency combined with behavioral health services in my opinion and I've spent a very good amount of time at others and at Cove Forge and yes, I'd recommend this program/rehab/treatment center for sure!!! Very professional staff who are friendly, kind, and caring at the same time! This place has been my life saver literally on several occasions, ya just gotta keep trying every time if you fail just try again and do not give up, ever! I have been to detox here about 5 times and the county paid for it every time. The staff is kind. They care. Most of the people that work there have a history with addiction and sober time. The nurses are all great too! Sweethearts. The place is really boring, understaffed and has a jail like space to move around in. It feels like being in jail a little bit because of the small area to be confined in. But I was always treated right and received help. Are you going to love it here? Probably not. But if your goal is to get clean then I'm giving it five stars. Today is my 1 year anniversary since my last drink. I have never made it this long before.

If you want to put in the work to better yourself, this place isn't so bad. The staff is really caring. Shelly, Bre, Maddie, & Rachel are the best. When I first got there, it was a hard adjustment for me, & the staff reassured me, encouraged me, & helped put pep in my step, until I saw the bigger picture. The counselor Angie, was the best, she helped me with everything & tried her hardest to listen & support me. This place helped me more than anyone could imagine & im forever greatful. But I will say one thing, why I didn't give a full 5 stars. The kitchen staff could be nicer. A few times, I think his name was Eddy who works in the kitchen, got in arguments with several women & said some really rude things during my stay.

This VA outreach place did such an excellent job on the recent Covid shots. I got my first a few Saturdays ago then got my second on the 13th of March. They could not have been better in any way. St. Joes is an absolute paradise! Such a beautiful place to go and work on yourself. The staff are amazing and the treatment is so productive. They're pulling strings you may not realize to help you!! Thanks to St. Joes I've found me again. He was lost for a long time in the fog of a deep depression, masking that with substance use, I thought he was gone forever. Thank you guys so much for an opportunity to live again, not just exist. If you are struggling and need help, give them a call. They will pick you up and mark will call you everyday until they do to ask how you are doing! The staff are compassionate, knowledgeable, respectful, non judgmental & easy to open up to. You’ll feel warmly welcomed even as you walk into the front door. My guard was definitely up when I began at the clinic. I’ve been there for several years & don’t know where my life would be without the clinic & staff members I’ve grown to know & trust. I highly recommend this facility no matter where you are in the hopes of long term recovery. Recovery is a lot of work but oh so worth its success! I give praise where praise is due & this clinic deserves it in so many ways!

I love the staff! They put their lives on the line to make sure they are open for us. They are so dedicated and kind. The dosing nurse's are very patient and definitely put up with so much from some of the people who should be just thankful for the opportunity to be here.

Have been a patient at clinics at the va hosp in Pittsburgh, altoona, and vandergrift, this is by far the place that has the most heart. My experience with 3 counselors over 3 years was a much more personal experience, a give and take that was different from past places in that with 2 of them they had been previous addicts who had wisdom and encouragement instead of it just be me telling my life story and them bieng very gaurded about any personal details which I felt was an issue with several of the past clinics. The nurses are great too, in that as a 40 year old man the will find another man to supervise the urinalysis instead of making me pee with a beautiful young nurse standing next to me, which I feel is inappropriate. I can say everyone is very friendly since a surly old bird of a nurse left 2 yrs ago. Maybe I just have an exceptionally good attitude or drank too much of the syzurp, but I feel if you put forth any effort in your recovery, these people will more than meet you halfway and you can improve yourself and pursue your dreams and goals or dream life away, at the Jtwn methadone clinic everydays a blast! I transferred here when I moved to the area, and this clinic is great. It's well run, it's clean & well maintained, the staff is professional, and my husband and I love our counselors.

I was there years ago. A great place to be when you want help with your addiction. But you have to want to be clean and or sober or it won't work no matter where you go. But this place is the best rehab I was ever at and I was at 6 different ones great food too. Home-cooked meals. I highly recommend this place.
