I was there years ago. A great place to be when you want help with your addiction. But you have to want to be clean and or sober or it won't work no matter where you go. But this place is the best rehab I was ever at and I was at 6 different ones great food too. Home-cooked meals. I highly recommend this place.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Last appointment I tried calling them and an answering service answered my phone asking me whether i have an emergency or cancellation. I said cancellation and they asked me to call during business hours, I was calling during the business hours, apparently they’re short staffed. Then they my card for a no-show. For my next appointment i tried reaching out a day before it, during business hours again, and the answering service said the same thing to me again said to call back the next day after 8:00 Am. I called at 9 am and the same answering service read put the same script, this time to not be charged I said i had an emergency and they let me leave a message.
I got a call back from them after the message, I spoke with the person and explained them everything, they said that they get all call recordings and won’t return my previous charge because it wasn’t their fault, how? I was only able to leave a message only after I said it was an emergency, how am I supposed to know what was going on? Why is the script handed to the third party saying that “if you have a cancellation call back during business hours”. And the dense person I spoke to couldn’t comprehend that they don’t let you leave a message for a call back unless there is an emergency. She said that they got all call recordings, how can they know? they clearly don’t know that i was certainly trying to reach out to them? if you have a counseling company, tell your employees to not be rude to the clients. And give me my 85 dollars back. there’s far better therapists than them.

Staff for very supportive of our daughter. Communication was excellent with her therapist and psychiatrist. Discharge planning could have been better. We went over what we needed in place for discharge but only one of those things was on the discharge paperwork. Also, no one explained to us that medications would be sent into our local pharmacy and we are two hours away from the facility. I didn’t get the text from pharmacy until we were already on the road. We barely made it back home (15min) before the pharmacy closed to pick up her medication.

Never heard one thing from the doctor about my daughter's care or her discharge plans which was wild too me ...no one had no problem to call me when she act up ..only two nurses from there would call me ..never once did they do a discharge call I have no clue who her doctor was left messages after messages think u can do way better in that department

RISE Counseling is fantastic! New in town and coming from a place where most of the options for counseling are at the hospital which is cold and clinical or the nearby health department, pretty much the same, I really appreciate the atmosphere.The waiting room is so relaxing! I much prefer the small private setting to big clinics which can make you feel like you're being processed like cattle.

St. Joes is an absolute paradise! Such a beautiful place to go and work on yourself. The staff are amazing and the treatment is so productive. They're pulling strings you may not realize to help you!! Thanks to St. Joes I've found me again. He was lost for a long time in the fog of a deep depression, masking that with substance use, I thought he was gone forever. Thank you guys so much for an opportunity to live again, not just exist. If you are struggling and need help, give them a call. They will pick you up and mark will call you everyday until they do to ask how you are doing! Need therapy? Here's an app that you have to pay to use, it should teach you everything.
Need meds? You can't take what's helped you for years and years, but here are the meds you said make things worse.
Nothing is helping? That's your fault for not being able to afford private providers. Best we can do is offer to commit you.
2 Week Update:
I went to another prescriber and my meds were immediately corrected, despite being told it was not possible by PHN for the past year. 🤘🏻 Lesson learned, don't use PHN.

Ok. So let’s just say I’m a very neutral person so my review will ONLY be about my recovery and not my exper With my stay there because what everyone needs to understand is that mental illness is the root of all addict behavior. So compassion is very important to me anyways.
The staff was very polite. My first night was great they listened and they heard me and they helped me immensely so thank you to the nurse staff in detox you ladies are awesome. And thank you for not co-signing my nonsense even though I never gave you the opportunity to put me in my place because I already knew what I needed to do and why I came there in the first place.

My goodness girly your job is tough so I understand why you are the way you are. You helped me so much and I’m upset that I never got to vocally express my gratitude towards you because of the fast pace in that place my thoughts were scattered.
So I want to tell you THANK you for getting me out of there on time. I was not looking for problems I just wanted peace and do some self healing with my grief of losing my mother and family members in the last 4 years. I couldn’t open up to you in such a short period of time knowing I was leaving soon. I would have loved to continue an outpatient treatment plan with you but because of location and the fact you guys do not offer that I pushed back a lot. I was trying to leave so I can make sure home was safe. So thank you all including Mrs. Donna the director in that place. It was a mutual respect and no word’s needed to be said for it to be the way that it was.
Thank you I see you ladies. Mrs. Linda Mam you have to fix your vision because baby it’s not ok for anyone to be hit with a bean bag and not react. You came in late and if it wasn’t for me yelling it would have been worse. You should take more classes. I was in detox with a girl and I was there and saw who was around when she got robbed. But that’s over with and we all left incomplete but that’s ok with me but not sure if the thieves were mandated if so karma is ruthless when it comes to honesty and sincerity. One came in sober and left a fiend. Ijs. It’s the honest truth.
It had NOTHING to do with staff or nurses she chose that life. Now she has to deal with it.
Now as for me I can only say this in light of what happened I was denied my night meds and had 0 hours of sleep so when I stayed up until I got home guess what happened I was 3 days sober sober I came home to use my personal suboxone strips. I may microdose but I cried when I truly didn’t want to take it. And it’s all because I never got my night time meds. 🥹
I was punished for no good reason.
So I have to start over unfortunately.
But like I said before it has NOTHING to do with the treatment itself it’s what’s done if they believe you stepped out of line.
It defeated my purpose and those 3 days sober were completely gone. It broke me when I placed that strip under my tongue.
But I know that Jesus will help me when it’s time because I’ve done it before on my own.
So if you are thinking about going there for treatment and are willing to take your recovery seriously this place is for you.

I went to call forage back in the 80s and I was addicted to two different kinds of drugs and I went to court and it was the best decision I could have made they helped me to live a new way a clean way and if you go there and you listen you can take something from there that can save your life just remember when you get there take the cotton out your ears and stick it in your mouth it just might save your life

This program saved my life. The staff here is amazing especially the counselors. I highly recommend it. Most inpatient recovery places are strictly after 1 thing but not here. They actually care about everybody that comes through the door. They also allow you to work to get established for your next destination. What more can anybody ask for.

With comprehensive treatment programs and setting up aftercare plans for individuals, they are empowering every person as they prepare for each next step in life. Also addiction impacts families as well and New Insights II hosts events which bring everyone together to prove recovery is possible for all. Ok so I can't speak on what other people had to deal with while being here but honestly I loved it. They tried so hard to help me. I went between the years of 2010 and 2013. I recall a lot of the staff and my favorites mostly nicknames were "B-new" and Mr. Kulp. I was one of the 100s of troubled children here and really loved the horse barn. I hope the staff I speak of are still here doing good work. I'm sorry so many of you had bad experiences. I had fond memories of the RTF.

I was here in the 90s. I was a resident when it was Lutherans for the most part I had a good experience but I was bipolar I got into fights alot. I was a very angry child. I had my moments I put the staff through a lot? I still remember the staff I had I was up there earlier today because my dad lives in the retirement community right before it so much has changed over the years. It looks completely different from when it did in the 90s the retirement community was not there then. The horse barn is still there. Most the cottages are gone I was in Riber and white cottage I went to school on campus only for a year and they let me go to zilenople high school cause I earned it I was not an easy child to deal with. I went there When I was 12 and was there till I aged out of the system

My daughter was in psychosis from being on so many psche meds actually causing severe symptoms. I am thankful for the drs and all who treated her and Andrea who promised me to get her off the dangerous meds.

I don’t usually write reviews, but my recent experience at the VA Emergency Department was upsetting enough that I feel it needs to be said.
After being advised by one of their doctors to return if my symptoms worsened or if I developed new ones, I did exactly that. I drove over an hour and a half back to the facility because my pain had increased and new symptoms appeared. When I arrived, I was seen by a different doctor, Melissa Pietras, and the difference in care was shocking.
Her bedside manner was completely inappropriate. She was dismissive, condescending, and spoke to me as though I lacked any understanding and intelligence of my own body or condition. Instead of listening or taking my worsening symptoms seriously, she brushed me off and sent me out of the ER without any meaningful evaluation or plan for care. My pain and symptoms have worsened and at the least should’ve warranted a corticosteroid injection due to the persistence of pain and swelling overruling the ibuprofen, reduced dexterity and visible malalignment and progressive deformity that all happened over a quick two days.
It makes me question whether she’s properly licensed or evaluating patients at all if she’s so quick to discharge someone who clearly meets the criteria for further assessment. It’s alarming that a physician can disregard a veteran’s concerns so casually, especially after I followed the prior doctor’s direction to return.
My experience under her limited care left me feeling invalidated, disrespected, and still in pain. Veterans deserve to be heard and treated with professionalism, compassion, and respect, not dismissed like an inconvenience. It’s easy to forget the value of a life when you’ve never had to face its fragility firsthand.

well I am going to give it a five star because if it wasn't for the evergreen program itself I would have never made it in society. I spent the majority of my adult life in prison, I needed a program to help me learn how to life outside of the walls. This program did that for me. 99% of the staff were amazing. That 1% were power hungry. I did notice that over the yrs the comments left went from great to really bad. Maybe that is something that should be addressed. Please don't just blame it on the client who wrote the survey. Like really look into it... Also I would like to give a major shout out to MS.MADDY , MS.LIZ, Ms.DANA , MS.SOPHIE, MS.BRITTNEY, MS.EBANY, MS.L (sat morning shift) and MS.TEE they really took the ti,e out to help me change my life.

I completed evergreen about 4 months ago. It was rough on some days. The rules (so I thought) were there as a punishment, WRONG, they were in place to teach me responsibility, accountability, routine and much more. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to gone there. Most staff helped me. Some not so much but to be honest that’s going to happen no matter where I would have went. My counselor was absolutely AMAZING. Ms. Maddy really to the time out to help me in any way she could. I am now in the willow way recovery house right out back. I want to thank Ms.Maddy , Ms.Tee, Ms.Liz , Ms. Brittney, Ms. Lorece , Ms, Ebany, Ms.Dana and Ms.Sophie. Because of ya’lls help, encouragement, and belief in me I am thriving and truly living,.
