I love PA. C. I never had a therapist like Judy. I struggle with many things and making appts is not always easy bc of my memory issues . I was often dismissed and then left with not therapist or psychiatrist in the past. Which doesn t make sense when your being seen for mental health ! I came here and will never leave Judy. Through all the hard times the staff and front desk are very easy to talk to and are great as well. I see Judy weekly she also does intensive treatment for dissociative disorders & ptsd too. If it wasn t for her knowing me working with me I don t know where I would be, possibly not here today. I strongly advise seeing a different person if your first time doesn t work out, they do have amazing therapist you just need to give it time and explore your option when your their. Don t give up bc they won t give up on you. I Highly recommend Pa.C. I wish I found Judy when I was younger, but I m happy I have her now.

Very impressed and surprised because there are some bad reviews when every team member I meet was extremely caring and understanding of everyone's personal situations. They really care about you getting better and will help give you the tools and motivation to get there. I started in the intensive outpatient program which was important to my recovery in that it gave me a regular schedule and it felt good to get in that rhythm and everyone I meet in that class was respectful to each other we learned and had a good time. I recently moved out onto the regular outpatient and continue to meet new people who all share the same difficulties in life and openly share their stories and perspectives to identify our triggers and in my case: bad life traps and bad coping styles that lead to my addiction. We also are taught how to avoid the pit falls of addiction the through healthy coping mechanisms. They also started a new incentive program that awards healthy recovery based activities. Because of this program and the programs they provided me with outside of Guardenzia I was able to change my mindset and come to a place where I can finally admit to myself of my past addiction and admit to myself I cannot ever drink again and I'm grateful to them for getting me to this place where I can finally accept that.

I just got home from my treatment stay here and wow ! Just wow! I had a relapse recently this year after a miscarriage and could not find proper treatment for the trauma I endured, let alone My alcohol issues that resurfaced after my loss. This is the ONLY PLACE that truly addressed my trauma issues and helped me through my substance issues. If you have PTSD and a drug/ alcohol problem, this is the only place in the state of PA that really does the work to get you better. I have been on methadone 4 years and had to relocate back to central Pa and when I made arrangements with my old clinic at ARS, they tried to literally kill me!!! When I moved my entire life and had it all switched so I thought until!!! I get there and then they say oh your insurance is for another county do until you switch it we cannot help you!!! And left me sitting in the room alone!! Just not even care or bothering with me!!! They make ppl want to relapse why bother when you don t care this much but I rememenrr beinf told Mechanicsburg ctc does same day so w only 32 mins left I rushed over to here and the world of diff of care, wanting to help!!! Willing to work with you as anyone knows even if you have no insurance the state of pa will pay up to 90 days back bills so they got all my paperwork and my dosingThat day and let me dose and set me up!!! I cannot tell you how as I say defeated in the other clinic defeated crying hysterically I saw my entire sobriety flash and about to be gone before my eyes!! I went from homeless, destitute, a person no one saw as worthy to a career in retail management, built myself to a respectable person agian that also helps others in recovery with at least that first step and now use my career to help give a job to those otherowise others look over!!So thank you sooooo much Mechanicsburg CTC because of you!!! This program saved my life. The staff here is amazing especially the counselors. I highly recommend it. Most inpatient recovery places are strictly after 1 thing but not here. They actually care about everybody that comes through the door. They also allow you to work to get established for your next destination. What more can anybody ask for.

This place changed my life from the inside out, yes it was hard, but it was exactly what I needed to internally transform through Jesus Christ and many men and women in Christ from this facility that helped push me to find my own life. And now that I have had this experience from New Life for girls I have completely turned my life around, I was a drug addict for 3 years almost lost my children to my parents and now I am a life coach I work full-time I am getting my own home and my own new car and I am thriving in the Lord and it is all 100% due to this experience at this facility. I would like to thank everyone in the ICU. I went in Sunday 3/16/25. I went to the ER with chest pain radiating into my back. After several test it was concluded I had a pulmonary embolism. I was in the ICU for 4 days. The team there was absolutely spectacular! The6 talked me through everything to make sure I had a clear understanding. Due to the fact that I was in the ICU my son was not allowed in but they pulled some strings so I could visit with him in the waiting room. Without them I would not be here today.

Look like anywhere you get what you put into a place like this. There were a few staff who really stuck out. Like ca dusty and ca q and Lindsay. They were fair and went out of there way to help you. Miss Becky is a good send. She wasn't my counselor but watched her go above and beyond for the ones on her case load and any one else who asked her for held. The head lady Malaya is one tough cookie but is thural and fair. Plus the most professional person I ever met even while dealing with all the strife and chaos.the nurses were great and the food was awesome. But they honestly need more staff . So they can actually do there job to the degree and level they want to and is needed. However the people there , patients made me feel like family and I will miss them all greatly.

The majority of the nurses Kanaka, Chrissie, GiGi are awesome. The ONLY nurse I didn t care for is Erin. She gave me the wrong dosage on my liquid Prozac twice. She s not friendly at all. The majority of the employees were fantastic.

I completed evergreen about 4 months ago. It was rough on some days. The rules (so I thought) were there as a punishment, WRONG, they were in place to teach me responsibility, accountability, routine and much more. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to gone there. Most staff helped me. Some not so much but to be honest that’s going to happen no matter where I would have went. My counselor was absolutely AMAZING. Ms. Maddy really to the time out to help me in any way she could. I am now in the willow way recovery house right out back. I will say, in the beginning, approximately 5 or so years ago, I was not happy with the service. But, I did like my psychologist at the time and not wanting to find something new, I reluctantly decided to stay. I m glad I did. I now have gotten to know my therapist better and have found a healthy, better trust in this organization. Things seem better in the last year or so, I m able to get my needed meds on time and am happy with the service I receive. I don t know if management changed or I did. It s scary to trust someone with one s mental health. It takes time and a willingness of both parties to empathize, the giver and the receiver both. My advice, if you are unhappy, voice your grievance and give them time to correct your concerns.
