Today I helped a Vietnam era veteran. Remember as a veteran sometimes we struggle. When you see a service person in need of help, do what the Lord installed in your heart love of one another.
The gentleman was in need. I would encourage anyone whether you're a veteran or not. Help the elderly.
My suggestion would be to take an index card and put the person's first name only, last four if you're a veteran and POC. Place this in a plastic bag and safety pin it to the person in some form or fashion.
This would eliminate hours of wasted time helping people to connect with loved ones.
Let them know the Lord brought you to them out of love because he first loved us.
One other advice if you're helping someone and you have to walk away give them something of yours to assure them you will return. A small act of kindness goes a long way.
The Lord sees all and never forgets. Lose the attitude of someone not being your race. When you served you should NEVER see race. Remember that.
You don't know who may be near you to save your life. We leave no one behind. Amen

OMG this place is huge. Medical staff are great Doctors are great staff is there for your need. And very knowledgeable and professional , courteous to your needs. There Pharmacy set up is out of this world. Great system on how they operate. The facilities is kept so clean unbelievable. Penn medcine and Penn state need to take notes On how to just be courteous to patients and stop the attitude and clean you facilities up. I completed the program twice. The nurses are very attentive. The techs are very helpful, making sure everyone has clean linens, detergent to wash clothes, and ensuring a safe recovering space. The portions of food will leave you stuffed. The cook seasons everything to perfection. There are 6 to 7 groups a day, usually starting with AA in the morning and a speaker during the evening hours. Great place to start your journey to recovery.

It was such a blessing! I praise the Lord that U-turn for Christ allowed me to come there. It taught me how to be a woman of God and to surrender my life to his will. I've been clean going on for 4 1/2 months and I feel wonderful. It wasn't easy by any means but God never promises that it is going to be. I have been going here for almost 2 years. I have never had an issue with rescheduling an appointment, and even when I missed one, I was able to continue to see my therapist with no issues. I did have to change the therapist due to insurance changes but got matched with a great new one and continue to see them. This is the first time I have felt that my therapist really listens to me and repects the fact that i dont want medication. They listened to that and came up with a treatment plan that helps without medication. It's hard, but with it.

The atmosphere here is very comfortable. The counselors are also very easy to talk to. Many people who attended with me had legal issues as well, and this place was more then willing to work with them on their issues.
