The staff of the Pyramid facility make the recovery process a journey of possibilities and opportunities. The counselor I had the opportunity to work with showed me a type of respect I haven't seen at any other facility. I am grateful for this on a daily basis. Just the small favor of offering a cup of coffee to clients in the morning makes the trip a great way to start the day. The security guards are even a part of the family and friends environment, taking the time to get to know the clients who use the waiting room daily. I am actually a bit bummed, when the administrator at the front window, has taken the day off because, she too, brightens my day and has had me laughing at her silly jokes and birthday songs throughout the past year.

I’d like to start by saying PYRAMID HAS BEEN THE MOST HELP since the beginning. I’ve had my rounds in recovery but this is the place that stuck with. I regained my confidence to be strong and have the power to control myself again. We all fall short at times, but if you want to get up and stay up, this is the place you should check out.

If your reading the reviews for this facility because your planning on getting help or even contemplating getting clean. Let me tell you....DO IT! It saved my life and many of my friends as well. I was scared at first obviously because i didn't want to be sick from the withdrawal. This facility actually does care about your safety and sobriety, your not just a number here. Youll be listened too and treated like a human being unlike a lot of places where your just an addict. Even if your not ready and just have questions, give them a ring....it could actually really change your life. The transition from the street drugs to the methadone was quite painless and I finally got relief. No more going days without and being sick, no more being sick at work, no more being sick around the kids, no more excuses! Long story short I can gladly say that I've been clean for so many years now and I owe it all too pyramid and the staff. I know it sounds silly but making that change and that choice was so scary and hard for me but when I found out how easy it was and how painless it was I felt so silly. You can do it. Make the call, you deserve it!

I wrote a google and yelp last week about this to Safeway at WMC Drive in Westminster; they responded that someone would contact me but they never did. So, I'm upping it a notch and see hat you good folks have to say!!
Last week, late at night, I was in Safeway on WMC Drive in Westminster. A customer brought their pet dog (not a service animal) in to the store and the 2 of them strolled from aisle to aisle shopping here and there. I asked the store's on duty boss, Kris, if having a pet dog in the store was appropriate. Kris, in front of 2 of his store coworkers, looked at me like a deer in the headlights, cleared his throat a couple times (I could see the brain neurons moving at warp speed trying to come up with a response), and he uttered "well, I don't know the store policies or regulations on this, but I guess it's ok for them to have their dog in the store. I responded "so, let's assume the dog poops in aisle 3 and raises its leg and sprays the fresh organic lettuce with pee pee in the fresh veggie section, what are you going to do and wouldn't that be totally unacceptable in the store?" Kris shot back with "well, sir, I can assure you I'll clean it up!!" Kris did not instill any confidence in me and I could just imagine the dog barfing up grass next to the open grapes in the fruit section in a manner similar to the way my childhood pet reacted in our backyard many years ago.
So, Mr or Ms Health Department, is it okay if I bring my pet parrot into Safeway some night, let him fly all around the store, and watch him deposit numerous droppings everywhere, including on the fresh open-air French bread???? This might be fun, especially if Kris is working!!

While I have found most support staff to be helpful in directing my recovery and progressing in my recovery, Gatehouse Lititz does have plenty of problems concerning food availability.
I don't believe clients should have to purchase their own food just to eat. They are paid by insurance to provide 3 meals a day, not dry cereal for breakfast because there is no milk.
There have also been times when there was no bread to even make a PB&J for lunch.
I have been in touch with DDAP regarding these issues.

My boyfriend (he is leaving a great review also) and I have been a client at BH a little over a year and we both think the entire staff is wonderful!!! They always treat us with kindness, respect and compassion. I have been to 2 other facilities in Laurel & Cherry Hill and BH is by far a much better Facility. My Counselor Megan is phenomenal, she answers every phone call or text message and really listens to what I have to say and sometimes I'm sure I ramble, lol. I can talk to her about anything and her advice has helped me many, many times. I consider her more than my counselor she's my friend. I have NEVER had a false positive, EVER. I think you have to be honest with yourself and not blame BH, that's a part of recovery, personal responsibility. BH's staff members are a big part of the reason I am currently at the highest Level, Stage 4, and I am over 6 months clean!!! I started therapy at a time when I was overwhelmed with anxiety, stress, and constant overthinking. I am so grateful I took that step because working with Christian has been life changing. He patient and he genuinely listens. Each session made me feel seen and supported, and gave me the tools to navigate difficult moments with more clarity and peace.
The entire team here is wonderful. The receptionists are always friendly and welcoming. I actually looked forward to seeing them. I still remember my very first appointment, it was in the evening and one of the ladies walked me out and waited to make sure I got safely into my car. That simple gesture meant a lot. Every visit felt peaceful and safe, and I always felt cared for.
I’m walking away with more confidence and resilience, and I’ll always be grateful for this experience.

I see Kim Millhimes on George street. I have made incredible progress in identifying and maintaining healthy boundaries with people I’m close with. I have finally been able to identify my own, individual values and live by them! This has lead to huge changes in the way I live my life. In the past, I really didn’t know who I was because I was always focused on other people’s emotions and values to the detriment of myself. With each session, I grow in a positive direction! I also enjoy the interaction with Cindy who works the front desk. Cindy is super professional along with being kind and making me laugh at times. I feel very well cared for here. I feel emotionally and psychologically safe here.

Absolutely horrible. The counselors try their hardest to accommodate the clients that need treatment and medicated maintenance to go about their everyday lives but the owner of the company is an absolute scam artist who cares for no more than himself. This is why their client AND EMPLOYEE turnaround is worst than servers at a restaurant.

I felt compelled to write this review because of the wonderful care my 88 years old father has received. The respect, kindness and concern displayed by every one of the Doctors, nurses and personnel we have encountered is absolutely amazing. While they are too numerous to mention, I particularly wanted to give special gratitude to our home care nurse, Vinnie…my father just adores her and she is amazing. I also wanted to express my appreciation to Lorett, who tended to my father’s wounds yesterday. Lorett was incredible and so kind. Likewise were the doctor, Rachel and the staff in the emergency area.
In closing, I want to state that this VA hospital and all associated medical providers and staff should be recognized for its/their high degree of standard, but more importantly for the compassion and respect displayed to our Veterans. Thank you and happy holidays.

Today I helped a Vietnam era veteran. Remember as a veteran sometimes we struggle. When you see a service person in need of help, do what the Lord installed in your heart love of one another.
The gentleman was in need. I would encourage anyone whether you're a veteran or not. Help the elderly.
My suggestion would be to take an index card and put the person's first name only, last four if you're a veteran and POC. Place this in a plastic bag and safety pin it to the person in some form or fashion.
This would eliminate hours of wasted time helping people to connect with loved ones.
Let them know the Lord brought you to them out of love because he first loved us.
One other advice if you're helping someone and you have to walk away give them something of yours to assure them you will return. A small act of kindness goes a long way.
The Lord sees all and never forgets. Lose the attitude of someone not being your race. When you served you should NEVER see race. Remember that.
You don't know who may be near you to save your life. We leave no one behind. Amen UPDATE October 20, 2025*** Thank you so much for fitting me in your schedule with Radiology. Wow where should I begin, My husband is currently in treatment at Hope Horizon, I can say this place is the absolute best for him, the staff is AMAZING!!!!!!! Let me start with Ms. Ashley who has talked with me and encouraged me through this whole process, She's sweet, kind and has a listening ear for the people. My bf dedicates his life to helping others and pushing those needing to get treatment through Hopes. John is passionate about recovery and his heart is definitely in the right place. Addiction is an epidemic in this country and taking our loved ones daily. Myself losing 2 of my ex's to overdose. I personally have never used. Hopes is most definitely on the correct path to changing lives and the outcome of overcoming addiction.
