At my last program they couldnt keep a councilor steady for nothing which is very hard on people people in recovery as well people here seem happy to work here thats what i remembered most when i was here in my youth.I would like to say Tara my new my councilor here is very astute and I believe she does a great job and shows it in meny ways making sure to contact an keep intouch with people and trys to make sure to contact me if they are going to be closed and naturally wants the best out of people she is sincere in her efforts and seems to love her job.im surprised at how much she remembers it shows she really listens and she will take the time to help with things like paper work and finding and informing me of information that may help me in my endeavors. We Care has been great for me and mainly due to they listen to me not like the other place that had everyone there basically doing the same procedures as everyone else. I don't feel like I have as they say liquid handcuffs at We Care. As long as you follow policies and their guidelines all is great. That's why I'm still here at We Care and I respect the counselors and nurses there and I feel I also get respect from them. Everyone and treatment place wrote me off,until i found WeCare Health Services they helped me finally curb for good, my addiction to pain pills and herion the staff was amazing and they truly care. Other than that I can not speak for the program after Mrs. Carissa left. When I was there it was tough but it is what i needed. I have never been to a program that actually cared and literally internally got to me dug up some buried issues and I worked on them. Mrs. MELVINA was my counselor, she was amazing. Most of the staff had went through addiction. Mrs Denise was amazzziiinnggg i never felt uncomfortable, leaving my son with them during the day. The whole staff at that time was amazing. Yes, it was very strict, but they did it in a loving way because they did not want us to die. I know countless women That graduated the Chrysalis House and are still clean. I have ten fifteen, close lifelong friends that I had met at Chrysalis and that are still clean to this day. I have never went to a treatment that had this much success. Like I said, I cannot speak for the new staff, but it sounds like it is still a great program.While I was there and before I left, they were building on the new addition which was beautiful.It was finished before I left but was not open yet. A woman and children's program is needed and I hope that this one is ran as good as it was when I was there.I'm sure it is. I felt so safe with my children.
