I have been to meny other programs I have seen and been threw alot in these places and one of the worst things is just getten shuffled around like a peace of paper and being told things that are unture or being led to believe things then let down especially when in recovery***. At my last program they couldnt keep a councilor steady for nothing which is very hard on people people in recovery as well people here seem happy to work here thats what i remembered most when i was here in my youth.I would like to say Tara my new my councilor here is very astute and I believe she does a great job and shows it in meny ways making sure to contact an keep intouch with people and trys to make sure to contact me if they are going to be closed and naturally wants the best out of people she is sincere in her efforts and seems to love her job.im surprised at how much she remembers it shows she really listens and she will take the time to help with things like paper work and finding and informing me of information that may help me in my endeavors. He actually cares were other counselors I have had didn't. I even tried to switch when I moved but because the other place counselor wasn't like him an didn't care me and my fiance came back. When my cell door opened I walked out onto the jail units main floor and asked my counselor if I could make a phone call. I called Grace Recovery Services. They welcomed my call and asked me to explain my situation, so I told them that I was currently incarcerated and after a lifetime of lifelong using and abusing drugs and alcohol I found myself in a position that I didn’t know if I’d be able to get myself out of. After a quick interview they assured me that they’d do everything in their power to get me out of jail, into their program and provide me with the help I desperately needed - if I really wanted it! And that’s exactly what they did! After the jails doors freed me Grace Recovery opened theirs and took me into their care. It was a hard adjustment at first, but the staff and clinicians went out of their way to make my process as easy as possible. After my withdrawal symptoms subsided and I found myself settled in, I began to become willing to accept the fact that I needed the help. I started to get honest with myself and with the counselors about why I was there. And I became open and listened to what they suggested I had to do to get well. A slow process of change and recovery began. I slowly started to believe that a better life was possible and with that hard realization I began to work for it, and just like that my life started over. Being clean and sober today is just a small part of what they gave me at Grace Recovery, they taught me how to take control and live my life again! So if you feel lost, broken or hopeless and like this life that you’re living is not worth living anymore, know that you aren’t alone and you don’t have to do it alone! You can get the help that you so desperately want, need and deserve, you just have to make that first step and reach out! Thrust me it’s worth it and so are you! We Care has been great for me and mainly due to they listen to me not like the other place that had everyone there basically doing the same procedures as everyone else. That didn't work for me and I believe in whatever works for each individual to stay clean and focused is what is best for them. After all if it works why change it. I don't feel like I have as they say liquid handcuffs at We Care. As long as you follow policies and their guidelines all is great. That's why I'm still here at We Care and I respect the counselors and nurses there and I feel I also get respect from them. Brett who is responsible for all going there is very easy to talk to which makes any issues easier to deal with though I've had none. I appreciate all that everyone has done for me while I'm there and it has worked for me after all I'm still alive. Everyone and treatment place wrote me off,until i found WeCare Health Services they helped me finally curb for good, my addiction to pain pills and herion the staff was amazing and they truly care. Robin ,Susan ,Kathy to name a few were kind and compassionate the head nurse Diane is a genuis,she made my detox aslmost none existant.I SWEAR!! Tranquility woods rehabilitation center helped me find myself and taught me so much about addiction and recovery. The staff at Tranquility woods were very kind and understanding. I was treated with respect and courtesy. The food was great. I have gained about 20 pounds while staying here. The amenities were great. They have salt water pool and gym. For someone who likes working out and needed structure and routine it was a great place for me to recover mentally, physically and also spiritually. They have outings on Saturdays which was great. Went bowling, and go karting. Also did volunteer work for the first time and it felt great. They take you to church on Sundays. I have met and made many friends here and If you are serious about recovery and want to get better I highly recommend Tranquility woods whether it’s your first time or multiple times. This is so much more than just a 30-day inpatient program. This is round 2 with our son in an inpatient 30-day program. First round included 60-day housing program with another recovery team. Choosing MARC after a 30-day inpatient, has gone beyond our expectations. The plan of treatment was SO individualized to our son’s needs. The program included substance recovery and truly addressed his mental health. The communication with the staff was clear and quick to respond. The program incorporated weekly family therapy which educated us on addiction and taught us how to communicate again without waking on “eggshells.” The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my son’s success. The program provided the tools, support, and guidance he needed to rebuild his life and strengthen my relationships with our family. Including family in the recovery process has made a tremendous difference and helped create a strong foundation for lasting recovery. His courage and confidence have made him a strong individual. We highly recommend this program to anyone seeking comprehensive, compassionate care with a successful recovery. My son has chosen to remain with his therapist as his outpatient. Other than that I can not speak for the program after Mrs. Carissa left. When I was there it was tough but it is what i needed. I have never been to a program that actually cared and literally internally got to me dug up some buried issues and I worked on them. Mrs. MELVINA was my counselor, she was amazing. Most of the staff had went through addiction. Mrs Denise was amazzziiinnggg i never felt uncomfortable, leaving my son with them during the day. The whole staff at that time was amazing. Yes, it was very strict, but they did it in a loving way because they did not want us to die. I know countless women That graduated the Chrysalis House and are still clean. I have ten fifteen, close lifelong friends that I had met at Chrysalis and that are still clean to this day. I have never went to a treatment that had this much success. Like I said, I cannot speak for the new staff, but it sounds like it is still a great program.While I was there and before I left, they were building on the new addition which was beautiful.It was finished before I left but was not open yet. A woman and children's program is needed and I hope that this one is ran as good as it was when I was there.I'm sure it is. I felt so safe with my children.
