Seth was always there to help me when I needed advice and assistance for my loved one...even after they were discharged. He made that very clear that I could always reach out, and I could not be more grateful to them/him.

Thank you PRC, I have 402 days clean and sober today because of the excellent treatment that I received from the entire staff. I got the help from Chris my therapist to work on more personal issues with alcohol drugs and mental illness. He also helped me with my family to. I saw a psychiatrist and a doctor. They provided me with recovery home to live. I feel blessed today and I know that if I stay clean and sober for today, life is worth living. Thank you

All of the staff there is helpful and as friendly as you are. It is a bit slow when trying to get referrals and appointments to outside practitioners and other VA centers for specialist and coronary tests.

Rated #2 in all VA's in America. It's breathtaking views and classic architecture make it more like #1. On premises cafeteria, and gift shop, add a real convenience. Located in beautiful Chester County, Pa., it's only minutes to famous Downingtown, and West Chester.

My Experience here is wonderful.I know that the staff cares .. I have gotten a job while here . And I am working on my recovery . The tools you learn while here can take you far. The staff are also great.They keep you busy working on your self. The house managers are real. They don't allow you to go by the wayside. You will be held accountable. If you are working the program of recovery whether mental or SUD , trust me you will see the growth . Those staff who stood out , are all of them ..They go above and beyond to make sure you accomplish your goals. So I give them a Five stars . Cause they are very compassionate. You gotta come here wit a open mind . Liz Yoga groups and Sam art therapy are great. Equine with Ms Cat is therapeutic. Ms Jen Grief group with the candy and heartfelt shares are awesome. The rekie class is flawless. Mary and Megan see to it that we are provided with things to do. Weather it's Softball league ,Gym Passes to work out . Sheile the intake assistant is real as they come . Olivia is a joy to communicate with. And Luke, Neil , and Reggie , Sarah and Timber are all that ... Can't forget Emily ,Veinna , Brooklyn therapist Jen , Julie , The book club Teacher , Anthony, Eric , Kai , and his martial arts class and Emilee they all have touched my heart . Provive is absolutely amazing. I am a client here and I am getting the utmost care I need. Groups, AA, Alumni, Doc/Psych Visits, 1v1 Therapy, they have it all! I am learning about myself and how to Navigate the hardships of life and to live life on life’s terms. Shout out to Noel, Julie, Jen, Luke and Megan for making time here an absolute blast. 433 days ago I walked into this treatment center scared nervous, but ultimately I had a goal. This place was welcoming. The staff was nice, respectful and intelligent, very compassionate, and patient also, The cooks the counselor’s The Doctors, the day-to-day staff even the janitors were all nice and helpful and respectful. Anyway, the place was always clean. I was always respected. I was able to get the help and treatment that I needed and after let’s say about 25 days day, I was discharged with a treatment plan also with numbers and addresses that I might need help with outside of the treatment center. My appointments was set for me before I left making it Easier for me when I got home I thank everyone there

Food was alright. Accommodated the fact I didn’t eat pork or seafood. Beds are very uncomfortable, but it’s rehab. Most staff were great! If severe get you to the hospital in a timely manner. Had vending machines for snacks and cigarettes.

Great place, I learned so much from the older people there and it helped me mature and grow in an amazing way. Bri and Lauren were incredible and group sessions were mixed with open sharing and activities to shift your mind to something else. I joined evening and morning classes and both were great.

6 years sober here after running the methadone program for 2 years to get off of opiates and benzos. Shout out to vanja, dawn, julissa and the rest of the nursing staff for helping make recovery possible. Some people go to get sober. Some people go to maintain getting high in a safe way when doing the methadone program. To each their own. I personally made a goal and got off and never looked back! So thankful for this program. It saves my life.

This is my 2nd review. My 1st review was from 3 years ago when I first started at Northeast Family Healthcare. Since then I had to transfer because I moved and I thought that I would write another review to let people know that for 3 years the staff faithfully stayed true to their teachings and never once judged me or made me feel like a low piece of s@%! even when I relapsed. I never had to lie who I was and cheat my way thru the program to stay in the program. After being a client at Northeast Family Healthcare in Quakertown for 3 years, I can honestly say this clinic has been life-changing for me. Having to transfer due to my move to another County was one of the hardest parts about relocating. What sets Northeast Family Healthcare apart is their incredible staff. Every person I encountered there treated me with dignity, respect, and genuine care. In recovery settings, being treated like a human being rather than just another case makes all the difference. i do want to base this review on my therapist. I cannot emphasize enough how instrumental Anna was in my recovery journey. In my 20+ years in various treatment programs (since 1999), I've NEVER connected with a therapist the way I did with Anna from day one. For all three years, she was my rock and a consistent source of support. What made Anna exceptional was her genuine approach to therapy. She truly listened - not just nodded along, but actually remembered details from our previous sessions. During my struggles and occasional relapses, she never once responded with anger, criticism, or disappointment. Instead, she helped me explore what happened, develop better coping strategies, and work through my underlying traumas. Anna's sincerity and passion for helping others is evident in everything she does. She clearly loves her job, and that authentic care makes all the difference for clients like me. I can confidently say that without her guidance, I wouldn't be clean today. Anna, I am going to miss you so much. You clearly were a gift from God. Thankyou for being you and accepting me for me. i had so much fun in our weekly Zoom meetings. I am clean today with the help from you and never giving up on me. Please keep in touch and if you ever find another job please keep my contact info and let me know. (This is a prime example of why stable treatment is a must and consistently having the same therapist instead of always getting a new therapist assigned to you.) For anyone seeking treatment at Northeast Family Healthcare (1040 S West End Blvd, Quakertown, PA 18951), whether for methadone or Suboxone treatment, know that you'll be in compassionate, capable hands. The entire team creates an environment where healing feels possible, even when you've struggled for decades like I had. I will deeply miss this facility and the incredible people who work there, especially Anna. They've set the standard for what quality, compassionate addiction treatment should look like.

My review is in regards to the ER here. We arrived around midnight, I had quite the scare. I have never visited a VA facility so my inprocessing/check in took a little long but I was patient and they stayed in communication throughout the process while constantly apologizing for the wait, which I really didn't mind - I never expect to be immediately seen at any ER lol. Once I was checked in, everybody I dealt with from the nurses to the doctor to the person that conducted my CT scan were so warm and comforting through my issues. I felt instant relief once I was in my room dealing with the medical staff. I can not stress enough how silly I feel ever feeling hesitant of visiting this facility. I have never been treated so well by medical staff. VA facilities have had a stigma over the years but I can not stress enough how wonderful of an experience I had once I was I checked in.

It's been quite the experience. I have an amazing team n have gone here 4 Healthcare for decades.

Was in there Back in 2003, around before Christmas. Place was beautiful and so surreal and peaceful... Helped me appreciate life Can be beautiful to just look at soberly. Psyhs. Good too. Food was awesome too. They even made me hand poured flapjacks for breakfast. And sausage 😋 I am currently Sober thanks to A lot from MALVERN. I HOPE TO REVISIT IT SOMEDAY SOON JUST FOR A GROUP OPEN MEETING 🙏 🙏 🙏

I was a past patient here and there was ups and downs about the facility. But that’s everywhere you go. My detox was not easy but the nurse names Maureen was super helpful with making sure I was comfortable and did the best she could to encourage me and keep me positive during a very hard time in my life. Hi, my name is Nathan Sokol, and I was a patient in the detox unit at Valley Forge Med Center in October 2026. While I initially had a very large number of complaints about the facility, I came to realize that this place truly helps people when they are at their lowest points. Even though most of the staff seemed overworked and even rushed at times, there are definitely quite a few caring people who genuinely try their best to help all the sick patients. I was given comfort meds almost whenever I wanted or needed them, and they really worked with me to help me get some proper sleep when I was coming off everything that I went there to quit. I don't remember many of the staff's names, but Jake stood out to me as an excellent nurse and was always willing to chat about your concerns. I think my 'provider's' name was Crystal, and she was so kind and understanding that I literally broke down crying the first time I merely looked at her and she made me feel a lot better by talking with me. They very quickly got me on Suboxone there and I had the Sublocade injection 3 days later, right before I was set to go home. Not once did I feel judged or looked down upon by any of the staff or even any of the patients there. I truly feel like they did their best to help me there, despite how awful I felt and how moody I was at times due to the result of feeling so awful. I honestly regret not staying there longer, but I'll get into that in my next paragraph containing a few complaints. I suppose my biggest complaint with this place was the fact that there just wasn't much to DO. I was constantly bored and anxious, simply because the TV in my room didn't work, I had no radio to listen to music, and you were not allowed to go outside whenever you wanted to walk around. You could only go outside at designated smoke break times, and that was only for 15 minutes at a time. I forever felt like I was waiting for the next smoke break or meal, which was pretty much all I had to look forward to there. I know they did the best they could, but sitting in the cafeteria for an entire hour while waiting to be served your food could definitely use some efficiency improvements or something. Also, you could VERY rarely make phone calls, and only with your counselor at designated times. I had a very hard time keeping up with all the scheduled things and sometimes missed important events, so I was shit out of luck when that happened. There were a few times I was too anxious and nervous to eat in the cafeteria, and they did bring my food up to my room, which was very cool though. Overall, it's not a place I would want to spend too much time at, but if I was very, very sick and needed a place that was going to help me recover and look after my needs again, I might go there again for another quick detox. I could say an awful lot more about this place, but I am tired right now so I will update this review with more info at a later date.
