Catholic Social Services is a great place to go to for Counceling and Food Pantrie Help in Hazleton PA.18201. I've been getting Service from them for many years.

I am only Reviewing Andrea because She is A Sweatheart. The other workers just stare in the office like they never seen anyone with Anxiety before! She took the Time to Talk to Carmen and He was just to wait till Monday for an Appointment but Carmen wanted to get checked to make sure He wasn't dehydrated, check his Potassium and to get another pill over the Weekend till Mondays Appointment. We'll We trusted Andrea and went to Hospital never Knowing We both where in for a Living Nightmare! She didn't explain he was going in ED We both never heard of it and We just trusted her. They metal wanded Carmen dressed and undressed, then they put him in an outfit that looked like a prisoners outfit then they had a lady outside the door that stared constantly at him and when he said I want to get out of here she said oh NO You have to wait till you see a Dr., Nurse and Psychatrist and you might be sent somewhere else plus you don't get the Psychatrist in person She was on a laptop! I just Wish Andrea would have explained the ED Department he went into because he would have never went nor would I have went in with him. So the ED Department - 0 Stars So now Carmen doest Trust N.ECounseling and Will Just Followup with his Family Dr. To get a New Pill and GOD WILLING THIS PILL WILL WORK! Cousin, Rene'e

The nurses are all great; the people at the front desk are great and the counselors are fantastic. There isn t one thing I would complain about. :)

If you choose MAT to aid in your recovery, this clinic is the place you want to call. Everyone, from administration to the nurses & the counselors, are there to help and to support you any way they can. It's a positive atmosphere and a no judgment zone. More often than not, you are in and out in just a few minutes on your dosing days. I would recommend that if you are ready to take that first step to recovery - give WBCTC a call and find out what your options are. They are there to help!!

I transferred to this clinic from one down in Austin Texas. From the beginning everything went smoothly. Wendy was my point of contact from the start. She was incredibly helpful and made sure everything was situated and ready for me when I arrived for my first day of dosing. The nurses Tiffany and Chris are always helpful and accommodating. The counselors are wonderful and the people at the front desk always greet you with a smile. They truly do care about the clients and their well being. I'd recommend this place to anyone seeking MAT.

I can not believe the lack of help for men in this area. I have 2 homeless men I'm trying to help and everywhere I call it's a dead end for them. This is horrible sickening

There's is no way this place is not 5 star. I am 50 and have lived around the country and never ever received 5 star care from therapy to the case management to the out patient psych clinic. I can tell u first hand from the fiscal department all the way to the top director this place cares about one thing it's clients they do not put money or time over people. This is the only place I've gotten any results since I was 5. If your having a bad comment then u just don't know this place or didn't do your part. It's a two way street they can only offer and give u suggestions and support and stand with u through rough times and I'm alive today because childrens service center didn't give up in me. I am building healthy relationships with my children, my self esteem went from lower then dirt in the carpet to sky high. My drug dependency is at a zero I am sober . My health is at all all time high. I have never had so many people working for myself and at least o0 others I know the way this place does. If u haven't done your part or don't like something u dint have to run and leave a bad comment or stop going they are open and willing to guide u help u stand by u so please it hurts to see this isn't 5 star and I'm putting on the people leaving the reviews I've been going here a long time and do various different programs they have and my life just keeps getting better. Thank u to everyone from every secretary to the rehab to case management for all of your hard work and dedication to all of your clients equally .

Some ways of communication are outdated like not being able to leave direct voicemails with people, only leaving with office afaik. But they were great help in applying for Medicaid and counseling services. Getting appointment is difficult due to the demand for the current counselors , which is very unfortunate but understandable. Feels like a safe place to be in. I wish that we could communicate with counselors over other means than email

The staff at 335 S. Franklin St. Are positive, Helpful and Caring. They are the best I have ever seen.

I loved it here n trust me when I first got here I wanted to leave so bad when I finished detox and went to the inpatient side I was trying to get other women to stat after detox, this placed saved my life and let me know it's possible! I celebrated a year on 12/8/17! Thank u for everything the staff is amazing, it's very locked down n strict so u focus on recovery n urself n nothing else . I love them they saved my life thank u .... Drf

WVADS Has been an excellent experience for my recovery. The councilors go over and above to get whatever it is you may need to support your recovery. The group meetings are very therapeutic and gives the opportunity to work out whatever issues you are going through, with other clients that have/are dealing with similar issues. If you are struggling, call WVADS. It works!!

I haven t been here in quite some time, but google asked, so I ll answer. Without this place I wouldn t have gotten back on track, I m soon to be married with a child on the way. I couldn t be happier, and it all started here. I recommend anyone trying to do better, to give these guys a call.

i thought this place was excellent. i loved the groups and my counselor. it seemed like they really cared. i had shown up 25 minutes late for the 3 hour group and they wouldn t let me in. i live 45 minutes away and had counseling 2.5 hours later. woman at the desk said it wasn t her problem. i was having a really rough day and needed to be there. mind you, i chose to go there. i wasn t mandated or anything. they do an outstanding job pushing people away on their lowest days.

I went here about 5 yrs ago. I completed their intensive outpatient program. I now have almost 4 years clean. Gaudenzia introduced me to the importance of recovery meetings. I would reccomend this place.

This place worked very well for me because I wanted to change and this place helped me do that. I did see a lot of people fail but most of them did not do what was suggested to them. They did it their way and got it their way!

If you really want to make a positive change in your life this place will help you learn the tools to maintain a productive positive lifestyle,my counselor was very professional and showed passion concerning her job,of course you are going to have whiners who don't want to make a positive change in their life but it made a difference in mine.I do believe the staff are underpaid.

Excellent program excellent staff I go back to visit the staff and remind people there it works if your there to change.

Susan has been a great support for me through my therapy journey the last few years. She creates a safe space, listens and has provided me with helpful strategies to break the cycles and patterns I was stuck in. I am grateful for her expertise, especially with trauma, and would highly recommend her.

I have been through 4 therapists and Dorothy Ashman is the first therapist I've had "break throughs" with. I've been seeing her less than a year and already I have been liberated from so many painful loops that have been plaguing me my whole life. EMDR is magical and I am so grateful for the healing I have experienced.

It's been a very good experience so far all around. Anne is my therapist and has been wonderful since my 1st session . And the receptionist, unlike the previous comment, is very polite and always friendly and helpful

I go to North East counseling Wilkes Barre location and I love my provider Sam!!! She is loving kind understanding and helpful she really truly listens to me... For the first time in my life. I'm 40 and never felt to cared about by my mental health provider!! I'd give her 10 stars if I could. Great Job

I have the best therapist.I could ever hope to have. Natasha is very caring and understanding and Has helped me understand a lot of things. I've had a lot of breakthroughs with her she has really saved my life.

I have nothing but good things to say about New Beginnings. I transferred there to join my therapist Abbey Bressler. She is attentive, caring and always there when you need her. I would have never made it through some things without her. She supports you like a therapist should. I don't want to people well which is why I followed Abbey from another place. The staff is great I get multiple reminders through the week so I never miss.
