All of the staff there is helpful and as friendly as you are. It is a bit slow when trying to get referrals and appointments to outside practitioners and other VA centers for specialist and coronary tests.

Rated #2 in all VA's in America. It's breathtaking views and classic architecture make it more like #1. On premises cafeteria, and gift shop, add a real convenience. Located in beautiful Chester County, Pa., it's only minutes to famous Downingtown, and West Chester.

Caron changed our daughter’s life. While she was there, I felt comfortable that she was in good hands. They taught her the skills to turn things around and stay clean.

I just left my stay at Caron's young adult women's unit. I was so pleased with all the staff I interacted with. The RAs I regularly saw - Danielle, Caitlin, Lauren, Ashley, and Lorraine - were all amazing and completely made the experience for me. They were all so supportive and made me feel very seen and cared for throughout my time here. Lori was an amazing counselor and was incredibly helpful through my process of figuring out aftercare and family therapy. My one gripe is the higher ups - this is no fault of the staff I saw. I felt my safety was not taken seriously. A patient was admitted to YAW who was clearly under the influence (and presumably continued use throughout the time she was there) and was highly aggressive toward all three of us in the unit, one of which was a minor, and staff. This patient was my roommate and I had reported sexual harassment against me the night she was admitted, and that I had felt I couldn't tell her to stop because of her erratic behavior. Although I know staff advocated for us, they were unable to do anything due to their higher ups, leading me to have to sleep on our couch in the lounge to separate myself, despite concerns in her behavior and possible use. Additionally, groups were disrupted by her behavior, and ultimately left me and other affected patients feeling as though our safety was not taken seriously. This was not a case of us not simply getting along, this was a threat to staff and patients - again, one of which was a minor. Aside from the RAs who I know tried all they could, the Caron staff needs to be better about these issues because they seem to be a recurring problem.

I felt compelled to write this as my loved one was a resident there, and I am extremely thankful for all of their support. Seth was always there to help me when I needed advice and assistance for my loved one...even after they were discharged. He made that very clear that I could always reach out, and I could not be more grateful to them/him.

Thank you PRC, I have 402 days clean and sober today because of the excellent treatment that I received from the entire staff. I got the help from Chris my therapist to work on more personal issues with alcohol drugs and mental illness. He also helped me with my family to. I saw a psychiatrist and a doctor. They provided me with recovery home to live. I feel blessed today and I know that if I stay clean and sober for today, life is worth living. Thank you

My Experience here is wonderful.I know that the staff cares .. I have gotten a job while here . And I am working on my recovery . The tools you learn while here can take you far. The staff are also great.They keep you busy working on your self. The house managers are real. They don't allow you to go by the wayside. You will be held accountable. If you are working the program of recovery whether mental or SUD , trust me you will see the growth . Those staff who stood out , are all of them ..They go above and beyond to make sure you accomplish your goals. So I give them a Five stars . Cause they are very compassionate. You gotta come here wit a open mind . Liz Yoga groups and Sam art therapy are great. Equine with Ms Cat is therapeutic. Ms Jen Grief group with the candy and heartfelt shares are awesome. The rekie class is flawless. Mary and Megan see to it that we are provided with things to do. Weather it's Softball league ,Gym Passes to work out . Sheile the intake assistant is real as they come . Olivia is a joy to communicate with. And Luke, Neil , and Reggie , Sarah and Timber are all that ... Can't forget Emily ,Veinna , Brooklyn therapist Jen , Julie , The book club Teacher , Anthony, Eric , Kai , and his martial arts class and Emilee they all have touched my heart . Provive is absolutely amazing. I am a client here and I am getting the utmost care I need. Groups, AA, Alumni, Doc/Psych Visits, 1v1 Therapy, they have it all! I am learning about myself and how to Navigate the hardships of life and to live life on life’s terms. Shout out to Noel, Julie, Jen, Luke and Megan for making time here an absolute blast. Its been 15 years since I've attended a co dependent workshop.There was experiential therapy as well as psycho dramas.I was astounded at the level of expertise and compassion by our counselor.I literally have been on such a wonderful journey,even when it was brutal,since my short stay there. My trauma and PTSD from my childhood was addressed substaintially.Forever grateful.

(This is a long one) I’ve had my fair share of therapists before and each time it was a crash and burn situation. It never worked out for me, I always felt like it was too much. I pushed it off until it smacked me in the face. I can genuinely say EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER DOWN TO THE RECEPTIONISTS ( especially Kaela, dr. Nelson, Greg & Nicole for me) welcomed me with opened arms at a time I needed it most. I never not once felt judged nor put down. I was held accountable each step of the way and able to express myself. Each one of them taught me a lot about my triggers, my attachment styles, my anger, the work I had to put in on my self and just the really understanding and loving the overall person I am. They taught me to identify why I was using bad habits to cope with my feelings. I really don’t have the words to explain how much they have helped me. If so I would be here all day. Let me try to sum it up. I had never been to therapy long term(some therapists just wouldn’t call back). I had never been on medication for my mental health(I would gas light myself and create bad habits to cope). I was in therapy for about a year and a half with kaela, Greg and dr Nelson. Some days I wish I had never left(I moved out the state). Dr. Nelson always listened to me, he helped me understand what was going on mentally. During my time he worked with me to find medications that helped me function daily. It wasn’t easy but he never gave up and he never pushed me to take anything I didn’t like or want to be on. Greg helped me to look within. He taught me not to bottle up my emotions and how to express what I’m feeling in a better way than I was. I have to give my props to Kaela for dealing with me the longest tho. Instantly I clicked with her. She really sets the bar high when it comes to a therapist for me. She listened to me yap on and on and she didn’t make me feel like I was a burden with my weekly visits. I actually looked forward to going to my visits.. even when I went back on my word. She didn’t make me feel ashamed of myself(No one there did) She always remembered everything, even when I didn’t. She made me hold myself accountable for my actions, as she did also. I loved that about her most. She didn’t let me slip. She helped me realize why I was doing certain things or why I was reacting the way I would and what they could’ve stemmed from. Other therapists didn’t do what they did for me mentally, even spiritually. Everyone at Caron is like a family to me at this point. I recommend everyone to come to Caron. All my friends, family, strangers. They made me realize therapy and asking for help wasn’t bad after all. If you needed a sign. This is it.

6 years sober here after running the methadone program for 2 years to get off of opiates and benzos. Shout out to vanja, dawn, julissa and the rest of the nursing staff for helping make recovery possible. Some people go to get sober. Some people go to maintain getting high in a safe way when doing the methadone program. To each their own. I personally made a goal and got off and never looked back! So thankful for this program. It saves my life.

This is my 2nd review. My 1st review was from 3 years ago when I first started at Northeast Family Healthcare. Since then I had to transfer because I moved and I thought that I would write another review to let people know that for 3 years the staff faithfully stayed true to their teachings and never once judged me or made me feel like a low piece of s@%! even when I relapsed. I never had to lie who I was and cheat my way thru the program to stay in the program. After being a client at Northeast Family Healthcare in Quakertown for 3 years, I can honestly say this clinic has been life-changing for me. Having to transfer due to my move to another County was one of the hardest parts about relocating. What sets Northeast Family Healthcare apart is their incredible staff. Every person I encountered there treated me with dignity, respect, and genuine care. In recovery settings, being treated like a human being rather than just another case makes all the difference. i do want to base this review on my therapist. I cannot emphasize enough how instrumental Anna was in my recovery journey. In my 20+ years in various treatment programs (since 1999), I've NEVER connected with a therapist the way I did with Anna from day one. For all three years, she was my rock and a consistent source of support. What made Anna exceptional was her genuine approach to therapy. She truly listened - not just nodded along, but actually remembered details from our previous sessions. During my struggles and occasional relapses, she never once responded with anger, criticism, or disappointment. Instead, she helped me explore what happened, develop better coping strategies, and work through my underlying traumas. Anna's sincerity and passion for helping others is evident in everything she does. She clearly loves her job, and that authentic care makes all the difference for clients like me. I can confidently say that without her guidance, I wouldn't be clean today. Anna, I am going to miss you so much. You clearly were a gift from God. Thankyou for being you and accepting me for me. i had so much fun in our weekly Zoom meetings. I am clean today with the help from you and never giving up on me. Please keep in touch and if you ever find another job please keep my contact info and let me know. (This is a prime example of why stable treatment is a must and consistently having the same therapist instead of always getting a new therapist assigned to you.) For anyone seeking treatment at Northeast Family Healthcare (1040 S West End Blvd, Quakertown, PA 18951), whether for methadone or Suboxone treatment, know that you'll be in compassionate, capable hands. The entire team creates an environment where healing feels possible, even when you've struggled for decades like I had. I will deeply miss this facility and the incredible people who work there, especially Anna. They've set the standard for what quality, compassionate addiction treatment should look like.

Was in there Back in 2003, around before Christmas. Place was beautiful and so surreal and peaceful... Helped me appreciate life Can be beautiful to just look at soberly. Psyhs. Good too. Food was awesome too. They even made me hand poured flapjacks for breakfast. And sausage 😋 I am currently Sober thanks to A lot from MALVERN. I HOPE TO REVISIT IT SOMEDAY SOON JUST FOR A GROUP OPEN MEETING 🙏 🙏 🙏

I was a past patient here and there was ups and downs about the facility. But that’s everywhere you go. My detox was not easy but the nurse names Maureen was super helpful with making sure I was comfortable and did the best she could to encourage me and keep me positive during a very hard time in my life. Hi, my name is Nathan Sokol, and I was a patient in the detox unit at Valley Forge Med Center in October 2026. While I initially had a very large number of complaints about the facility, I came to realize that this place truly helps people when they are at their lowest points. Even though most of the staff seemed overworked and even rushed at times, there are definitely quite a few caring people who genuinely try their best to help all the sick patients. I was given comfort meds almost whenever I wanted or needed them, and they really worked with me to help me get some proper sleep when I was coming off everything that I went there to quit. I don't remember many of the staff's names, but Jake stood out to me as an excellent nurse and was always willing to chat about your concerns. I think my 'provider's' name was Crystal, and she was so kind and understanding that I literally broke down crying the first time I merely looked at her and she made me feel a lot better by talking with me. They very quickly got me on Suboxone there and I had the Sublocade injection 3 days later, right before I was set to go home. Not once did I feel judged or looked down upon by any of the staff or even any of the patients there. I truly feel like they did their best to help me there, despite how awful I felt and how moody I was at times due to the result of feeling so awful. I honestly regret not staying there longer, but I'll get into that in my next paragraph containing a few complaints. I suppose my biggest complaint with this place was the fact that there just wasn't much to DO. I was constantly bored and anxious, simply because the TV in my room didn't work, I had no radio to listen to music, and you were not allowed to go outside whenever you wanted to walk around. You could only go outside at designated smoke break times, and that was only for 15 minutes at a time. I forever felt like I was waiting for the next smoke break or meal, which was pretty much all I had to look forward to there. I know they did the best they could, but sitting in the cafeteria for an entire hour while waiting to be served your food could definitely use some efficiency improvements or something. Also, you could VERY rarely make phone calls, and only with your counselor at designated times. I had a very hard time keeping up with all the scheduled things and sometimes missed important events, so I was shit out of luck when that happened. There were a few times I was too anxious and nervous to eat in the cafeteria, and they did bring my food up to my room, which was very cool though. Overall, it's not a place I would want to spend too much time at, but if I was very, very sick and needed a place that was going to help me recover and look after my needs again, I might go there again for another quick detox. I could say an awful lot more about this place, but I am tired right now so I will update this review with more info at a later date.
