About Phoenix Recovery Center for Men Conway

Phoenix Recovery Center was located in Edgewood Maryland. This facility was a short-term recovery facility that offered residential treatment to men and women who were experiencing struggles with drug, alcohol, or substance use. They accepted policies from most major insurance providers. The facility has since closed its doors.

When this facility was in operation, it provided compassionate and supportive care to individuals who were starting treatment for their substance use struggles. The residential treatment facility Offered a positive and home-like setting that allowed you to navigate your recovery in a safe, supportive, and peaceful environment.

You have worked with experienced drug and addiction counselors here. These counselors would have helped you identify triggers that have contributed to your substance use. You would have also learned different coping strategies and techniques that would help you manage negative thoughts and stressful emotions. When managed appropriately you’ll have developed life skills that would have helped you minimize your risk of relapse.

They also offered case management services. Through this, you would have been connected to different supports that would help guide your recovery. Many people who received care here say they appreciated the compassionate and judgment-free treatment they received from the support staff. There were also medical teams here that would help you navigate physical or mental aspects that were impacting your recovery.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

aftercare iconAftercare Support
Clients in addiction recovery typically require robust, ongoing support, which rehab aftercare programs are designed to provide. These programs are premised on the idea that clients' mental, emotional, physical, social, and financial wellbeing is essential to recovery. Clients collaborate with their case managers and addiction recovery team to identify the rehab aftercare services they will need to thrive while in recovery. Clients may receive peer coaching, career counseling, and 12 step program induction, among other services.
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
Sober Living Houses (SLHs), aka sober homes or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from substance abuse. Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

The goal of drug rehab in Arkansas is to help individuals stop using addictive substances and learn healthy ways to remain clean long-term. Participants learn vital skills to cope with cravings and manage stress, to prevent relapse.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services
