Seems to me that the only ones that actually really tried to help me. The VA physicians are primary care administration office there has not really done me very good Justice I filled out so many transfers to Conway and only one person actually found my paperwork but I never took you back a hold of her the other people like to talk to would always tell me we don't know what you're talking about we don't have anything in your information but I've done it so many times and if he's on call me remember when I walked up to them filled out the paperwork for transfer a primary care and then they faxed it remember that so I'm giving him an awesome review cuz I just been frustrating sometimes to not getting the right help in the answers that I needed I understand North Little Rock's a lot larger facilities a lot busier and you probably have not as much resources to help much help in resources the main VA needs reevaluate the situation there in North Little Rock and give me the resources that they need so they can complete the job properly my complaint is not against the people it's the whole administration of the VA of not doing their job not passing all the information or just put it off on someone else to do and just forgetting about it that is so sad that they do that to some of those veterans you know I think it is very good and awesome but I do have these dinners weak spots if they need to strengthen

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt like this one needed to be written. Matt Lapham has been one of the biggest blessings during my time at True Self. What makes Matt different is that he has been where many of us have been. He understands the struggles, the setbacks, and the challenges of recovery because he’s lived it himself. That experience allows him to connect with people in a way that can’t be taught. Matt goes above and beyond for every single client, often without looking for any recognition. Whether it’s making sure someone has hygiene products, helping people find clothes and socks, taking clients to food banks, or simply being there when someone needs support, he’s always finding ways to help. If someone is in need, Matt is usually already working on a solution before they even have to ask. One thing that always stands out is the way he takes care of everyone at the house. He cooks dinner every night without complaint, and somehow manages to make it feel like a home instead of just a place to stay. The meals are always great, and it’s clear he puts his heart into everything he does. Matt also teaches classes at True Self, and every class leaves an impact. He has a way of making people think deeply about their recovery, their choices, and their future. Even when he doubts himself or feels like he could have done better, those of us listening know he’s doing an amazing job. His honesty, experience, and passion for helping others come through every time he speaks. True Self is fortunate to have someone like Matt Lapham. The amount of time, energy, and compassion he pours into helping others is truly inspiring. He may never realize how much of a difference he makes, but I can honestly say that he has made a positive impact on countless lives, including mine. Thank you, Matt, for everything you do.

Capstone has been a defining part of our family’s journey during one of the hardest seasons of our lives. As a mom of a 16-year-old struggling with substance use and mental health, I had done the research, read the books, and tried the therapy—but Capstone brought something different that we truly needed. I truly believe God led me to this place, and He continues to guide our journey every step of the way. The counseling process is exceptional. Our counselor, Matthew, has been both professional and deeply personal in the way he supports our family. My son connected with him in a way that isn’t easy for teenage boys, and that relationship has made a lasting impact that continues into aftercare. Family Week was one of the most powerful experiences I’ve had as a parent. It gave my son a voice and gave me insight into myself that I had never seen before—even after years of therapy. It completely changed how I show up for him. I was also struck by Adrian Hickmon’s leadership and presence. From the moment I walked in and he knew my name and my son, I felt seen. The wisdom he shared—and the time he personally took to answer my questions—was unlike anything I’ve encountered elsewhere. His perspective on focusing on small, steady progress has stayed with me and continues to guide how I support my son. For the first time in years, I see real hope. We are communicating better, growing closer, and moving in the right direction. This journey is far from over, but I trust that God is continuing to work in my son’s life. Capstone helped shift the trajectory—and that means everything.

Our son is currently enrolled at Capstone. It's difficult to put into words how amazing this place is. The level of excellence, from the therapists to the support staff, is second to none. Be advised, they do not mess around. The commitment level they require from the family is high, and for good reason. I've never experienced "tough love" like they put forth. This is a blessed place and we are grateful God led us to Capstone.
