You won’t find a better, more dedicated place to recover from a life destroyed by addiction. The love, understanding, and compassion they pour into each individual is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced anywhere in my life. Combine that with the knowledge and experience of the entire staff and you have something truly special. From the night managers to the director, each staff member is genuine, caring, and there to help make recovery from addiction achievable. They have created something remarkable.

I went here for a few months for help with tapering off of benzos that I had been prescribed for anxiety. I was having a lot of trouble or with withdrawal symptoms and wanted to make sure I was tapering the correct way. I met with Brian a couple times and he was very nice. The only negative I have is he did a drug test on me without disclosing that I would get a bill. Now I have a $180 bill to test for drugs that I was prescribed. It would have been nice if the fact that I would have to pay so much for a drug test was disclosed before taking it, and if I had been given an option to opt out.

I would just like to share my experience about Natural State and the guy Michael who manages the sober living houses. If it was not for him my son would be dead. He told me from the beginning that if my son was willing to go to any lengths to change his life then he would have a chance. I almost enabled my son to his grave by not listening to Michael and taking his suggestions. Today my son has a little over a year sober and is a new person. He also suggested that I go to Alanon meetings which I have been for a year and the relief that I get from these meetings are priceless. My son was making every excuse in the world to me and I was believing him instead of someone who has walked in his shoes. Again thank you Michael and Natural State Recovery.

But, I appreciated that tough love, structure, and accountability, because that is what I needed at the time. I just had a procedure at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock and everyone was super caring, attentive, reassuring , professional and very exceptional and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. It is super clean. Dr Ralph Henderson is my urologist who did my procedure. I highly recommend Dr R Henderson. He is great and smart. The anesthesiologist was so nice, and understanding of my fears of being put under at age 66. I felt completely safe with him and like he knew how to do his job perfectly and keep me alive. I think many of these reviews about a grumpy nurse or a doctor who was so late or didn't show up, should be on that doctor's review page. At my age , I have been in the hospital many times. Some nurses are just burnt out. Some love being a nurse and some discovered they don't care enough about people to be a nurse. They should do something else. But the hospital has a low rating for these reasons and I was really afraid to be there. But it was the opposite of what I expected and one of the best hospital experiences of my life, if that can be said about being in a hospital. I hope more people put reviews that are not bad because of a dismissive nurse. You can get the nurses name and complain directly to the hospital. The way ya'll are doing here, the hospital doesnt know which nurse to discipline or let go.
I was in a different state's hospital once, NOT Baptist Health AR. and I woke up during an invasive surgery. Pain level 50. Now that's something to complain about.

Seems to me that the only ones that actually really tried to help me. The VA physicians are primary care administration office there has not really done me very good Justice I filled out so many transfers to Conway and only one person actually found my paperwork but I never took you back a hold of her the other people like to talk to would always tell me we don't know what you're talking about we don't have anything in your information but I've done it so many times and if he's on call me remember when I walked up to them filled out the paperwork for transfer a primary care and then they faxed it remember that so I'm giving him an awesome review cuz I just been frustrating sometimes to not getting the right help in the answers that I needed I understand North Little Rock's a lot larger facilities a lot busier and you probably have not as much resources to help much help in resources the main VA needs reevaluate the situation there in North Little Rock and give me the resources that they need so they can complete the job properly my complaint is not against the people it's the whole administration of the VA of not doing their job not passing all the information or just put it off on someone else to do and just forgetting about it that is so sad that they do that to some of those veterans you know I think it is very good and awesome but I do have these dinners weak spots if they need to strengthen
