I have been incredibly impressed with the Madison VA healthcare system for my elderly veteran father. Each dept always exceeds my expectations. Lab, radiology, primary care, acupuncture, and especially the Audiology dept. They are life savers! I cannot speak highly enough of the care, love, and respect they display. While it's a little hard for me to get to especially during the road construction season the clinic is about as accessable as anything else is in Madison. In July the VA is opening up a clinic on the east side of Madison not far from Sun Prairie where I reside. That should make it a good deal easier for me.

I've been going here for a lonnng time like maybe 13 or 14 years now. I can't imagine what it would be like if I didn't have Crystal to talk to throughout the issues Ive had. My daughter sees someone here also and she can't wait to have her next appointment. I don't know if I'd have made it this far without having someone to talk to who doesn't judge me or BS me either. I have never met a counselor I LOVED until Gabi Koren who came highly recommended to me through UW Hospital! I have seen her for 3 different/separate specific reasons and still remain seeing her for 2 through Lake City Counseling. I actually look forward to talking with her and receiving her guidance regularly from a Women’s Virtual Group to everyday counseling. I have never felt so confident opening up to someone like I have with her and that was from the very start. I could never imagine trying to have to find someone to replace her, she is a true gift and absolutely 1 in a million, no exaggeration at all!!! I have been working with Mike Hebl at Lake City Counseling for almost six month and he is amazing. It took me years to finally find a place that could get me into weekly visits versus monthly. The receptionist is available from 9 am-2 pm, and is always very helpful and nice. I was skeptical at first because of a bad review I saw posted, so I wanted others to know that I have had the exact opposite. Mike has taught me so many daily strategies to cope with living with depression and anxiety. I highly recommend working with Lake City Counseling.

A quality DBT centric provider is rare to find in this state. Even the office manager is trained in DBT skills. They offer excellent group programming that I benefitted from. They will work with you on finances so you don't go without care.
I feel heard, listened to, and seen by my group facilitators and my two therapists I've had so far.
Remember when reading these reviews who the clientele is. Some folks may have wrote it in a manic/unwell state.
My constructive feedback is to invest in a new EHR portal, its really janky and wonky.

In all honesty people may talk down on greendale staff and the place that gave them a place to lay there head because they don't like rules which if they can't handle the rules and feed back that would help them out in life then that's on them and I wasn't too crazy about coming here seven months ago and I'm going on my 8th month and wanted to leave on my 2nd month but if you give the staff a chance to talk to them and interact with them then you would think twice about listening to others how horrible it is here which it isn't at all. I actually learned a lot here. I learned patience which I had none at all well very little when I got here now I can stand in line at a gas station for a hour and don't mind but what I'm trying to say is greendale helped me a lot and the staff does listen to your needs and concerns and everyone handles things differently in a positive way of course. Also they made me look at everyone isn't all bad people and everyone does things differently it's just that you want to change or be stuck at the bottom and they honestly opened my eyes and made me see the glass is always full and ever half full anywhere u go there's going to be that person who doesn't like something or someone well guess what that's life and if you want to change and I was very stubborn person words goes in one ear out the other and as time went on isnt like that for me anymore here not to kiss butt well put this if you want the help and want to stay clean and sober greendale and greendale staff is here 24/7 for who ever also the residents is pretty cool too.

I moved into greendale after a 30 day inpatient stay at rosecranse. Greendale helped guide me! The structure and accountability was detrimental to my life.The staff was amazing and were always there to help me! I'm extremely grateful for this program!

Registration staff are great. Nurses are caring and professional. The doctors I’ve had are awful. Dr D T. Does not listen when I explain why I have come in she literally waves me off and says stop worrying, you’re ok. And I’m on my way. I have met with Dr. V. R. About severe pain in my left shoulder. She listens very kindly. Never looks at the site of pain where there is large lump. I got second opinion at UW and neurologist referred me to physical therapist because of swelling and pressure on nerve. This is starting to help and give me relief.

Jan the receptionist is 5 stars amazing - she's so good I honestly thought she was a therapist when I first called (and she should be!). Such a kind, patient and understanding woman. Carol the therapist I worked with is incredible. She specializes in addiction and I've just had a wonderful experience with her. Easy to talk to, gives wonderful advice. Highly recommend checking this place out. I was honestly so surprised to read the other bad reviews but they're not about either of these people.

This place changed my life.. I’ve been in many treatment centers before in the last few years, but the community and structure here is unlike anywhere else - the staff and recovering addicts that come in and out of here, the building and activities that we get to participate in, are all amazing and beautiful.
