Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financing your treatment can make treatment more accessible. You'll work with your care provider to set up payment plans, including interest rates and repayment timelines. Financing options vary widely and not all programs offer them, so be sure to get the full details before enrolling in treatment. If you have insurance or other benefits, financing may help you cover your remaining out of pocket expenses.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

The first step of the recovery process involves the removal of all drugs and alcohol from your system while under 24/7 medical supervision. Known as a medically assisted detox, you are closely monitored by medical staff who can provide medications, if necessary, to help alleviate any potential withdrawal symptoms. Medical detox is usually followed by a period of inpatient addiction treatment.

Clients typically choose inpatient rehab when they are in early recovery or are experiencing a crisis that puts them at an increased risk of relapse. They reside at the treatment center for the length of their program, which may range from two weeks to more than 18 months, depending on the program design. Intensive psychotherapy is often the primary treatment modality, but clients in inpatient care may also receive holistic treatment and recovery-focused life skills training.

Often referred to as "day treatment," a partial hospitalization program (PHP) offers an intensive treatment option that allows individuals to return home at night. PHP treatment typically requires a minimum of 20 hours a week for an average of 90 days. Participants attend daily therapeutic sessions, receive medication management, and have access to skilled medical professionals. While costs can vary, most insurance will fully or partially cover a partial hospitalization program.

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) involve frequent and robust therapeutic sessions for clients requiring high-level care. Clients may engage in a combination of medication assisted treatment (MAT), addiction counseling, recovery skills training, and holistic therapies for a minimum of nine and a maximum of 20 hours per week. Intensive outpatient rehab is designed primarily for persons in early recovery, those exiting detox or inpatient care, and those at an elevated relapse risk.

Outpatient rehabs encompass multiple levels of care to facilitate clients' progress through their recovery journey. Clients who are stepping down from inpatient treatment may require intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment, which involves more frequent and substantive therapeutic interventions than does standard outpatient care. Outpatient centers typically provide extensive addiction counseling, including individual, group, and family therapy. Medication assisted treatment programs (MAT) and recovery-focused life skills training are also common in outpatient care.

Telehealth offers many benefits for Florida residents. It lets you see your healthcare provider from anywhere. This saves time because you don't have to travel to a doctor's office or take time off work to get there. It also provides more options, because you can choose health care specialists who are located far from you.

Treatments

This comprehensive approach to treatment helps to ensure sustained recovery.

When you have a mental health disorder and an addiction, it's known as a co-occurring disorder. Since treating both conditions at the same time is critical, you'll want to seek out a dual diagnosis treatment center. These specialized rehabs offer the care needed to overcome both disorders, which drastically increases your chances of success in long-term recovery. Types of therapies provided tend to include individual and group counseling, relapse prevention education, coping skills training, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Clinical Services

Dialectical behavior therapy in Florida consists of individual therapy and group instruction. This structured program is a form of psychotherapy that incorporates the development of skills for managing emotions and relationships.

Trauma therapy helps you work through the psychological impact that traumatic events have had on your life. Your therapist helps you identify the physical, emotional, and mental triggers and develop coping mechanisms. This helps rebuild a sense of safety and trust in yourself and others.

Horrible! They are the marketing arm for many low-quality centers. Admission people told me that my service animal and I had a bed in Orlando and had me drive 8 hours to get there, and when I got there, racist admission nurse refused me and my service animal. Then they told me to drive 30 minites north to another center and we were rdfuse admissions there as well due to a dog allegy with one of there patients. Admissions told me that if I dont like the way they do business I should csll another place. Stay away from these peopel!

TLDR; downright ATROCIOUS treatment of a family member calling in looking for resources to help an addicted loved one. I’m going to leave this review about my experience pending the “investigation” that the manager said they will perform. I called this evening looking for outpatient addiction therapy for my mother. The man I was speaking to, Zach, treated me downright HORRIBLY. Their website says they offer outpatient to people that have a “safe home environment” or “can’t afford to take off of work or school” or have a “mild drug use problem”. But this person said things like “out patient would be a waste of time for your mom and it sounds like you just want to enable her.” I tried to mention that the website says the opposite and he said “I am fully aware of what the website says, and I get paid either way, but I’m telling you that you’re wasting your time.” I asked why he is being so aggressive and rude towards me and he said “I’m just telling the truth. Do you want me to lie to you?” Then when I asked his name and role, he got more defensive and tried to hang up on me. I asked for his supervisor’s name and he said “there are many supervisors”. I said okay is there one available now? He said yes. I said I would like to speak to them. He said “I can see if they are able to give you a call.” I said, “Sir, your behavior is going to be reported whether you like it or not. So you can either transfer me now, or I can keep calling until I get someone on the phone.” So he transferred me to the “overnight manager, Miles.” I told Miles that as a family member of an addict reaching out for help, the way Zach treated me was HORRIBLE. And that they need to review the recorded call and do something about it so that other people don’t experience what I just did. And then ALL HE SAID WAS “Okay, we will review the call.” I waited a few seconds and then said “…is that it?” Then he said “I haven’t reviewed the call yet. I’m sorry if you felt like you were treated poorly. We will review the call and offer training where needed. And if that person isn’t a right fit for the company, we will deal with that.” I’m STARTING to think Miles isn’t a real manager. And that they might even delete the call recording to cover his tracks. And it’s ironic as hell that when you’re on hold the automated playback is all about their mission to help people. Like, WOW!!!!! Phone call occurred at 10:51pm on 8/14/25. Y’all have my number. You can call me.

Leaving this review is crucial so they can thank google for getting this ONE star out of me to do so. Patient care is at the BOTTOM of this facility’s priorities and it painfully shows to the families who have unfortunately have had a loved one under their "care.” I understand they can not prevent a patient from leaving early but they absolutely can prevent negligence for being the reason a patient DECIDES to leave early which is the main reason my mother did. My mother was processed into this facility scared, vulnerable, and at rock bottom. Not even a week in, she left worse than she arrived. She was neglected, bullied, and taken advantage of. Advanced Recovery Systems as an establishment, with the inclusion of ALL its staff, is irresponsible, careless, and riddled with inappropriate behavior. Their patients walk around like zombies because they're doped up on 20+ pills a day to make their staff's job easier. They switch one addiction for another and call it “healing.” If you genuinely love someone who is fighting an addiction, this is the last place to turn to for help. This place absolutely needs to be investigated, held responsible, AND shut down.

Response from the owner
Privacy laws prevent us from commenting about specific situations but we are a physician-led company and the health and safety of our patients is our number one priority. While we work with each patient to create and deliver a treatment plan that is medically appropriate for their needs, we can't prevent an adult from choosing to leave our facility early or against medical advice.
