If i could give 1000 stars i would! I couldn't recommend symetria enough. Everyone there is absolutely AMAZING! From the front staff (esp Ms Shuranda who keeps everything running smoothly), to the wonderful counselors, the medical directors (shout out to Ms Cynthia), my knowledgeable counselor Ms Beth, the beautiful nurses aka angels in scrubs (Kat, Gizelle and Mel).. you are surrounded by nothing but complete love, support and understanding. There is never a moment you feel judged or unsupported. Everyone has been there for me in more ways than I can count and if it wasn't for the staff I don't think I would be where I am today. You aren't treated like a number or just another patient. You are treated like FAMILY! I went to Branden House and they helped me so much more than I thought I needed. It's hard at first... Discipline and withdrawal. I have been seeing my psychiatrist there for 3 years. Dr. Godbolt is great! She takes her time and has given me a new hope on life. NOW, The after hours answering service is another story! They rarely pass your message to your Dr. They are very disrespectful. I just called the answering service a few minutes ago. I have terrible insomnia and I've been awake for 3 days. I'm hallucinating because I have been up for so long. At first she was not going to contact my doctor because she said they don't do psychiatry after hours.. what is that? Then I told her that I have been awake for 3 days and I am starting to hallucinate and she said hold on came back two minutes later and said you know what just call back at 8:30 in the morning that's all I can do for you. Something just doesn't seem right there

I finally found a great doctor's office...NP Shan Brown is an amazing person incredibly understanding and knowledgeable the nurse that took me to the back is great and the receptionists are very professional and friendly, I've been there twice with no more then a 5 min wait..this place is amazing compared to any other aunt Martha's I've been to!

Solleys Place is an excellent establishment to work with while on your sober journey. Their staff and management are always friendly, fair and willing to work with you. The doctor is also an amazing person, Vietnam veteran and has compassion where a lot of doctors do not. I would highly recommend using them for your continued IOP care. Just remember you have to put in the work to make it work, being sober is a process but it is possible.

They generally want to meet everyday people s needs to live a normal life.In and out the door before 5am to do what you need to do w your life. Try and find another clinic that does that for you. I do not typically do these reviews however I felt very strongly I needed to. I have been in the program for over 7 years. The program honestly saved my life after trying several other things. My addiction became like most had back problems and my doctors were very free to prescribe the opioids and benzodiazepines. Xanax was actually the worst for me hospitalized for over 10 days due to all the seizures. Anyways the nurses Yolanda Jackie Val are sweethearts and have never judged me once. Yolanda is the one person who always tells me she is proud of me I don t even hear that from family. Kim who runs front desk is also great. In my experience I have had around 6 counselors and sorry to say this is the downfall here. I don t know if they are overworked micromanaged or just don t care but I have had to go elsewhere for my counseling. I have promise for my new counselor April who is new to this location. Since starting she has been on top on my case not letting anything slide. She gets accomplished what the 5 others took months to do and I appreciate that. Non judgmental follow-up and just caring she accomplishes where most can t and this is what keeps me clean and alive and I thank her for that more than I can say. Doctor is a different story for a different day I will just say to the women ask that a third person be in the room. That s all!

I kept telling myself I didn t need help, that I wasn t addicted. I was wrong for a long time. I was addicted and my addiction was ruining and running my life. When I finally realized I needed real help, I finally went here and it saved my life. Great counselors, great staff, and a lot of people just looking to get help. I really, really recommend anyone who s ready to finally get help come here. (By the way, they didn t accept Medicare when I went there. That was 5 years ago. I've gone to a few different clinics in Illinois and California. This is the best! When i moved back to the state, I came back here, even though it's an hour drive and there are closer clinics. The staff here are all amazing. From the receptionist to the counselors, LPNs, Nurse Practioners and the Doctors, everyone is very friendly and supportive. Service is generally pretty quick, though some days might take a little longer. As long as you do what you need to do to get yourself better, they will work with you, support you and you will quickly earn codes so you don't have to come as often. As for price? It's about the same as any private pay clinic. Actually, now that they now offer a cash discount it might be less, AND they take insurance including Illinois medicaid. Truly, I owe a lot to Recovery Concepts. I struggled off and on for YEARS until I found them. Now I have 8 years, and I know it couldn't have been done without them.

Doctor Hickombottom is the absolute best physician I have found in years. He takes the time to listen to you and his bedside manner is warm and inviting. The healthcare center itself is clean and was running efficiently the day I visited. The reason I gave this facility 4/5 stars is for two reasons. The first is that the patient portal accessed via their website has a message section to requests refills. I messaged twice using the system and no one ever messaged back which tells me that no one is monitoring the patient portal. That prompted me to call the facility and press the button that says medication refills which again no one answers and the VM box is not available to leave a message. I finally had to call and select the make or cancel appointments option and the lady took my information down and said the doctor would call me back. The doctor never called me back however I received a text from Walgreens stating that my prescription was ready for pickup. So the bottom line is that the lack of efficiency in communication is severely in need of an overhaul. That being said I will continue to be a patient of this facility because Dr Hickombottom practices there.

If i could give 1000 stars i would! I couldn't recommend symetria enough. Everyone there is absolutely AMAZING! From the front staff (esp Ms Shuranda who keeps everything running smoothly), to the wonderful counselors, the medical directors (shout out to Ms Cynthia), my knowledgeable counselor Ms Beth, the beautiful nurses aka angels in scrubs (Kat, Gizelle and Mel).. you are surrounded by nothing but complete love, support and understanding. There is never a moment you feel judged or unsupported. Everyone has been there for me in more ways than I can count and if it wasn't for the staff I don't think I would be where I am today. You aren't treated like a number or just another patient. You are treated like FAMILY! Choosing symetria to be the first place I went to help be recover was the best decision I ever made and I'm forever grateful for everyone there who has been there for me since day one. As a patient with a Major Depressive Disorder, I was treated with the correct treatment that helped me with my symptoms and they offered there my medication while they ordered for me, also they helped with a program application to get a discount. It is an excellent place to get help. I was treated for a year with excellent results. Now I got my bachelor's in Psychology and I want to help others.

I am big guy, queer, trans and have intense anxiety. I have a problem even leaving my house and I have never had a problem here. I ve been coming here since 2022 and all the staff has been nice to me. I come for both mental health and physical health care and they accept my insurance. I ve never came and saw a receptionist not at the desk and they are always polite. I m not my best self yet, and that s okay because mental health takes time and years to understand. No one can spend a month or even a year with you and know exactly what s wrong with you mentally. Anxiety and depression and other illnesses are barriers that we need to work on lifelong and I am happy to have found a place that is open to me and my identity. It s a second home to me and I feel like they really care for me. I ve only felt that after two years though because I have issues with trust and tones of voices.
