This place changed my life.. I’ve been in many treatment centers before in the last few years, but the community and structure here is unlike anywhere else - the staff and recovering addicts that come in and out of here, the building and activities that we get to participate in, are all amazing and beautiful.

ER doctors saved my husband's life... very, very thankful for all of them. The outpatient program at Rosecrance has been invaluable to my recovery. Dominique demonstrates an authentic commitment to helping me, and others in the group, maintain our sobriety. Whether it is through therapeutic programming, providing resources to enable our recovery, or just simply by helping navigate confusing financial aid forms, she is all in and wants to see her clients succeed. When Steve has had to fill in, on days Dominique was not here, he did the same. They both really just seem to care…but also hold you accountable if you are not helping yourself. The culture of this program has allowed me the opportunity to really get to know other clients in this programs as well. The friendships I have developed here will stay in my heart forever.

All of the staff are super friendly and their goal is to help you be successful. The PA listens to you carefully and he will suggest and prescribe medication to aid you to reach your goals. The counselor will work with you to set up a plan for your recovery and listens intently to you to help you reach the goals you have set. She has helped me in numerous ways to overcome anxiety issues that were blocking my path. I believe the whole staff have truly saved my life.

Im on day 5 of a jury trial. I've been a patient for 4 years. I went from 16mg down to 1mg. I haven't touched an opiate since Dec of 2021.
Today, God forbid, I come in on a schefuled appointment, a day early, on a month prescription. Why? Because I happened to run out 24 hours early due to difficulties weening off subs. Something that a doctor would likely expect and appreciate.
Alexis, Im sorry I didn't just hold out til Friday. I didn't want to be in full blown withdrawals during a pivotal moment in my career. Shame on me.
Next month, instead of giving you full disclosure i'll tell you a fairytale. That must be so much more productive. Do you think I disclose the truth because I'm an idiot? No, it's because I actually trust professionals. You breached it.
I don't want special treatment. However, if you're going to play a petty game, have the guts to say it to my face.
I can't come tomorrow morning and show you my half strip. That doesn't mean I'm selling the sub strips or some other ridiculous concern. I have children who need to get to school and/or a babysitter and then I need to be in court for a trial.

I continue to trust Symetria staff with my life and have not been disappointed. I did not show up for a few days because I was sick….the staff there called me every day until I answered, and they got me to come back in for my treatment and back on track. My dad was brought here for continued care, and I can confidently say this is the best LTACH we’ve experienced. Most of the employees here are incredibly compassionate, attentive, and genuinely caring. The staff overall are truly GREAT!
Starting with the 3rd floor Nursing Manager, Joshua — an exceptional leader. He is understanding, a great listener, and was consistently supportive. He made a difficult time so much more bearable for our entire family. We are truly grateful for his presence and professionalism.
A big thanks also goes to the night-shift Nurse Supervisor, Chris, who was equally outstanding and always on top of things.
The nursing team deserves major recognition as well. Sylvia is top tier, and Andrea, Brigitte, Fidaa, Bosky, Jennifer, Dorian, Ritchie, Rincy, and Agaa were all excellent and deeply caring throughout.
Respiratory Tech Joby stood out for his professionalism and kindness, along with team members like Vikram, Mercy, Billy, Benzie, and Anna. Unfortunately, I have to give 4 stars instead of 5 due to one very poor experience with a tech named Sheena, which did affect our overall impression of the respiratory department.
I also want to commend the wonderful security team at the main entrance — Fedle, Bob, and Jerry were always warm and helpful. Special shoutout to Jasimine for her positive attitude.
There are many more staff members whose names I can’t recall, but they all contributed to a truly positive experience. If you’re considering this facility for a loved one, I wholeheartedly recommend it. You can bring your family member here with peace of mind knowing they’ll be well cared for.

Unfortunately I was not able to complete the program as I simply couldn’t afford to continue on, but as far as outpatient mental health programs go, this place is among the best. My dad was brought here for continued care, and I can confidently say this is the best LTACH we’ve experienced. Most of the employees here are incredibly compassionate, attentive, and genuinely caring. The staff overall are truly GREAT!
Starting with the 3rd floor Nursing Manager, Joshua — an exceptional leader. He is understanding, a great listener, and was consistently supportive. He made a difficult time so much more bearable for our entire family. We are truly grateful for his presence and professionalism.
A big thanks also goes to the night-shift Nurse Supervisor, Chris, who was equally outstanding and always on top of things.
The nursing team deserves major recognition as well. Sylvia is top tier, and Andrea, Brigitte, Fidaa, Bosky, Jennifer, Dorian, Ritchie, Rincy, and Agaa were all excellent and deeply caring throughout.
Respiratory Tech Joby stood out for his professionalism and kindness, along with team members like Vikram, Mercy, Billy, Benzie, and Anna. Unfortunately, I have to give 4 stars instead of 5 due to one very poor experience with a tech named Sheena, which did affect our overall impression of the respiratory department.
I also want to commend the wonderful security team at the main entrance — Fedle, Bob, and Jerry were always warm and helpful. Special shoutout to Jasimine for her positive attitude.
There are many more staff members whose names I can’t recall, but they all contributed to a truly positive experience. If you’re considering this facility for a loved one, I wholeheartedly recommend it. You can bring your family member here with peace of mind knowing they’ll be well cared for.

The valuable lessons provided truly shift your perspective on life, regardless of your starting point. Greg Ammon, Vincent Donlon, and the instructors who delivered the lessons were once part of my support network. I cherished their guidance and gained significant knowledge from them. Reflecting on how long it has been since my diagnosis feels surreal. The journey to recovery was facilitated by the insights and assistance I received. When the time came I went to the appointment and they were so sweet, understanding, and very resourceful!!!. I was amazed, and happy!!! First off, it's a blessing itself to have a facility FREE OF CHARGE!!! I am so grateful for Nicasa and the incredible support I received from their team. With the guidance of my caseworker, Ms. Darlene, I was able to make real progress in my life. She not only encouraged me to continue my education, but also helped me get my driver’s license and supported me through the process of having my background expunged. Because of her kindness, professionalism, and dedication, I have been able to put my life back together in ways I never thought possible.
I also want to recognize her supervisor, Ms. Sindey, whose support and understanding made a huge difference. Both of them carry a genuine heart for the community and give their time, energy, and compassion to help families across Lake County.
What makes Nicasa so special is that they are not just another organization—they truly care. They spend countless hours serving people and making a positive impact. This is by far the most effective clinic for a few reasons, Transportation wise you can get here on about 7 different buses 78 Montrose, 81 Lawrence, 151 Sheridan,146 and 147 inner and outer lake shore drive buses the red line, purple line express and they open at 5:30 in the morning they are very private respecting the HIPPA laws and your medical privacy. I went to 5 different clinics before coming here and this is the one clinic that gets it right truly tailored to your needs. So, quality of life is yours, not theirs. I recommend this clinic for more than 1 reason but the only reason that matters is how your sobriety gets handled with care.

Great place to go to, in and out so you can go about your day, staff is really helpful,friendly and kind always greeted by the wonderful front desk staff, coffee and tea in the waiting area, the nurse, caseworkers, staff are all helpful grateful I found them. They’ve helped me in a situation I thought was impossible to get out of but also they care enough to assist you find resources for you to build a better life would recommend!

I remember the first day my daughter entered the doors of Kindred. After being transferred from two well established hospitals, I thought to myself, “what is this place going to do?” Immediately following that thought I heard John 1:46 (Can anything good come out of Nazareth). As it was in the word of God, it is for Kindred, yes something good can and did come out of this place. The staff were amazing. Each encounter involved transforming health, healing and peace of mind. From the beginning we, as a family, were accommodated to ensure that our loved one would receive her best care. Each staff member, from front door clerk to the janitorial staff were professional and passionate in their care by checking in to see whether they could be of some assistance in any capacity in which is needed. Communication within the team of staff working with the patient could have been much better. However, over the entire stay knowing you and the patient by name made you feel at home away from home. I am surely grateful that God has allowed our paths to cross in this wellness journey because it takes people that care enough to see you all the way through to the other side. LOVE, LOVE this clinic!!!! Only clinic my husband & I have joined that treat you with the upmost respect. Melanie & Kim go above & beyond their jobs plus more. They make sure your all set up & don’t need any other resources also. My counselor Chris is unbelievable! First counselor I’ve had that can relate & I actually want to talk & open up. Such a fresh of breath air there, it gives ya hope for once.
