UPDATE SINCE BELOW REVIEW: I went into office again today and Kim took great care of us. Found out case worker had been on vacation. New Peer worker called immediately and made arrangements. Thank you. It is encouraging now. I give Derrick the assessor 5.0, but after the assessment we were told my son would be contacted within 24 hrs. 24 hours no contact, next day no contact. I've gone in office to inquire, told case worker would call. 2 additional phone calls...still no help. My son was so encouraged during accessment. Now I have to tell him no one there cares!! Btw...also left voice mail on case worker's phone...still nothing.

I checked myself into the Cox North treatment center about 2010. Got set up on Suboxone. Unfortunately I ended up getting fired before I could finish the treatment and had to get off it all by myself. And I was on 24 mg a day three pills. I wish I'd have been on 2 mg a day. When I tried winning it down myself I realized 2 mg a day was keeping the problems away if you know what I mean. But it does work! Your poop's going to be pretty loose for a long time if you were on opiates but Imodium will help LOL anyways don't give up people! Rick Byrd

We delivered our baby here and felt surrounded by compassionate, professional and genuine medical staff the entire time. Our baby had a few complications so we were admitted for several days and everyone we encountered was patient and answered our many questions with empathy and professionalism-and trust me I had so many questions as my baby was being treated. Every shift we would meet a new nurse for me and another for our baby. They were all wonderful, I truly can’t say enough nice things about our experience. This includes the kitchen and janitorial team who were also kind and genuine. The facility was clean with convenient amenities. God bless this group of dedicated men and women for making a difference ❤️

UNACCEPTABLE ADMINISTRATIVE INCOMPETENCE. I’ve made a total of 50+ calls to schedule just two tests. Their own website gives the wrong number (unchanged for 8 months), staff accuse you of lying when you point it out, reject outside orders without notice, give doctors no way to fix them, and bounce you between departments that refuse to talk to each other. Even when everything is “fixed,” it breaks again—orders vanish, get rejected again, and no one takes responsibility. This isn’t just inconvenient—it’s dangerous, wastes enormous amounts of patient and doctor time, and shows a complete disregard for patient care. No one should have to go through this to get medical testing. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

This place is probably one of the best places for mental health and addictions centers . These people go the extra mile to help you succeed in life even with the added problems a person might have or be going through . I appreciate the services provided to us thru various places like probation and parole and cox health and even the police and fire men who might have thought about getting a person some much needed assistance . If anyone deserves a 6 star rating it's this place . Thanks everyone who puts forth a big heart to the Springfield community .

I took my 89 year old mother to the ER per her dermatologist because she has a open wound on her foot. We get there they put her in a room took vitals.looked at her foot took X-ray and that was that. Then they moved her from the room and put her in the hallway were people had to pass by her to be taken to radiology. They never put her in the next available room just let her stay in the hallway no compassion . She had no privacy at all. Lab worker had to get blood yep in the hallway! How would you like if your loved one was out in the hall. 7and a half hours later we went home. Your younger nurses have a stick up there asses. The only one that asked if we would like a sandwich and a drink was a EMS worker,Give Anita a gift card because she was a caring person.

I've had an incredibly frustrating experience with St. Bernard's Behavorial Health Center. Since July 21st, I've been trying to get important paperwork signed and sent to Sedgwick so that I can secure my job--and as of July 26th, this still has not been completed. The staff have been uncooperative, rude and dismissive. On multiple occasions, I've been hung up on mid-conversation or spoken to as if I'm a burden. They rush to get off the phone instead of trying to help or follow through with what they say they'll do. It's incredibly disappointing, especially coming from a facility that's supposed to support people's mental health. This kind of neglect and unprofessionalism only adds more stress to an already difficult situation. I'm now seriously considering reporting or taking legal action against them because this level of service is unacceptable. Do better.

This organization is amazing! I have attended many events for Missouri Girls Town, and the stories from former residents truly speak to the support and help that Missouri Girls Town provides. Without them, many of these girls' lives would be destroyed by their abusive parents and foster parents. This organization actually helps these young girls to achieve more and overcome the trauma they have endured. Someone has to help these kids and I'm glad that Missouri Girls Town is doing its part to help these young ladies.

I am so impressed by the work that Missouri Girls Town does for the young women in its care. Executive Director Jenny Preiss works tirelessly to find and manage top-quality staff. These individuals do an outstanding job of making the girls feel seen and cared for. The professional staff work to help the girls overcome the trauma they have experienced. I've learned, most of the girls in their care are on their eighth or ninth placement when they get to the Girls Town campus. I'm so glad they have this safe, nurturing place to call home.

All the staff are always so nice and helpful, regardless if it is over the phone or in person. I have been working with them for just shy of a year and have always had a positive experience. I recommend them to everyone I know that asks about counseling services. When I started back in therapy I was extremely nervous since I have had less than helpful experiences in the past. In the waiting room you feel more like home than at a doctor's office which helped so much with my anxiety about it! My therapist has been so patient and understanding with me and I can honestly say it's the best experience I have had. My experience, Srinivas Chilakamarri is an absolute PRICK! My daughter finally looked for help, and was scheduled an appt last week. She never got a link to call (evidently it had gone to her spam mail, though all other correspondence was via txt), so she called. Finally 30 minutes after being on hold and xfered, he canx'd/rescheduled her appt for this week. HOWEVER 1hr 30 minutes before her appt today, HE canceled, blaiming her because somehow it was her fault she didn't have a link for last week. Saying, "she didn't care enough to make her appt last week, so he don't want to see her. Why did he reschedule then? How about find out what the disconnect was. As a 33 year combat veteran/Chief Master Seargent in the Air Force, I've seen my share of people who genuinely needed help but was afraid to get it. What bothers me more than anything is my daughter was seeking help and this guy not only denied her help, but somehow blamed her. He's supposed to help with depression, not add to it! As I have read other reviews on other sites, it validates that he does not care about his patients and is a discrace to his practice. Update: per your request i sent all requested info and asked for updates from your investigation. No response yet. I will update if i get a response

My Care Coordinator, Mary is BEYOND excellen!! She helps me with mental health relaxation techniques, resources, medical paperwork, etc. She got me on Medicaid and got me signed up for EBT, by helping with the forms. She sees me weekly, and is so helpful! She's become an important part of my life over the years, and has helped tremendously in my mental health care!! She's a great listener, with empathy and helps to find solutions that work for you. My Counselor, Linda is kind, very open-minded, a FANTASTIC listener, and is such an important part of my healing as well. She helps keep me accountable to my goals. My Psychiatrist, Dr.Kahnuja is extremely perceptive, and he works with my other Doctors in my treatment, and with labs, etc. He really listens to what I need, and he's really easy to work with. He always asks about my Mom, who has dementia. They all do! That means a lot!! They're all very compassionate, understanding, patient and they work together to help their patients. I've had bad experiences in the past, but this place is a whole new world in comparison to the past. They have a clubhouse for us to attend with apparently many activities and trips sometimes, I've heard. I've never attended. They give you tools, resources, talk therapy, medicine, if needed, etc. They go by your income, and it's free if you are low enough. They also have a program that will pay for mental health medications, if you have no income, or if it's low enough to fit into whatever their guideline parameters are. They have many other programs too, including housing, if you fit their guidelines, I think you have to get disability or something to qualify. Just advocate for yourself, don't be afraid to ask. I've had a PHENOMENAL experience with my team, and I can't vouch for all of the employees, but the ones I've had contact with, they're all great and indispensable to my mental health care!! Take care, Amanda Heath
