This place is a life-saver and purpose adjuster. Between the intricately constructed SOARfit, yoga/meditation, group modality, and their staff (literally every employee), they will help you stay on the spiritual beam of life and hold you accountable. SOARfit demands a lot of the client and pushes you to do your best. Limits and boundaries are respected, and the optimism/positive attitudes of both the staff & clientele are contagious. Easily the best IOP program I've ever encountered. Your experience will be defined by the effort you put into it, so I'd recommend giving it your all. I have nothing but positive things to say about Seafield. It basically saved my life and has guided me to a much healthier and happier way of living. I have 1 year sober, and I give much credit to this facility for getting me so where I am today. From the West Hampton rehabilitation center, to the women’s sober house, to the outpatient counseling and meetings, it has been nothing short of wonderful and life changing. I have acquired so much from the amazing counseling and people that work here, the way you feel accepted and understood is profound. It’s also worth noting how much we appreciated all staff knocking and introducing themselves, the delicious food, the friendly staff who delivered the meals, the affordable guest trays, the pantry options, the individualized menu sheet for her therapeutic diet, the educational videos at discharge, the efficiency of the discharge lounge, and the friendliness of the transporter who took her to the car.
We have been to many hospitals and healthcare facilities dealing with both acute and chronic health issues and this was truly #1. Thanks so much!

The nurses at the labor and delivery department are incredible! We came across the most compassionate nurse, Debbie, who spent almost the entire night following my daughter’s birth looking after both myself and my baby. She spent hours helping the baby latch on to feed and checked on me every hour. The entire experience from the reception to labor and delivery and the days following my baby’s birth are marked with incredible memories of extremely professional people who seemed to really care and enjoy what they do! We are very grateful! Thank you~
The one negative thing about the room was that there was no space for my husband to lie down at night and get some rest.

I underwent shoulder surgery with Dr. Inzerillo, and the experience exceeded my expectations. I had no pain whatsoever, not on the day of the surgery nor in the following days. My range of motion, strength, and functionality returning within the weeks that followed, thanks also to the outstanding occupational therapy team he recommended.
Dr. Sorathia provided care of the highest professional and human quality. He was thorough, attentive, and ensured that every necessary test was done to rule out any issues, addressing every detail of my health concerns. I couldn't thank him more for the exceptional treatment. His team was equally compassionate and efficient, offering a level of care I had never experienced before.

I've had multiple services done at New Bridge (ultrasounds, bloodwork, and CT scan) and had a great experience with them. The staff were friendly and the services were completed quickly and accurately. They sent the results to my other doctors as needed both within the New Bridge system and out (my a long time cardiologist in NYC). I also know that they provide a ton of community services to the local Bergen county area and beyond, and though I haven't personally needed it, their ER frequently has very quick waiting times compared to other hospitals I have experienced. Additionally, my primary care provider, Mellie Belvis, is part of New Bridge as well, and she is outstanding in terms of care, attentiveness, and skill. Highly recommended for healthcare services!

I'm truly astonished at the ungrateful and entitled people who are leaving these bad reviews.
They expect Club Med, for FREE no less, as someone holds their hand for 24 hours a day and sings them to sleep.
Unbelievable.
I arrived at Bergen New Bridge as many others have, sick, terrified and defeated. I had been absolutely abandoned by my pain management doctor of 15 years when my regular monthly Methadone prescriptions suddenly become impossible to fill as I had been doing for a decade and a half. New DEA rules or some such nonsense.......I won't get into specifics as to how badly my dr screwed me and how he just didn't care that I was about to enter hell, but he did and I was completely out of options.
After finding nothing on the internet that wasn't 30 to 50 thousand dollars, I found New Bridge. I couldn't believe that they took me right in with no insurance or money.
They got me through five really hard days......coming off of 80 MG of methadone a day for 15 plus years was no joke......but the doctors gave me meds that made it entirely bearable, I was actually amazed that I didn't get a lot sicker. The staff are all caring and attentive. Sure, its old but its clean. A bed and a TV and 3 meals a day (food was OK, sure could have been a lot worse) what more do you want for free for god's sake?
I would recommend this place to anyone needing help with nowhere else to turn.
Dr Accurso deserves a special shout out, he is amazing.

I recently delivered my third child at Phelps and it was the absolute best birthing experience I’ve ever had. Comparing it to White Plains Hospital, Greenwich Hospital and my sisters recent experience at Lawrence in Bronxville, Phelps Hospital leaves them in the dust. The delivery room was amazing, I loved the birthing tub. I had the most wonderful and kind doctor and nurses the whole stay. One of my favorite parts about Phelps though is their food. Other hospitals feel like hospital food, Phelps is gourmet, it feels like a hotel. I also had my thyroid surgery at Phelps so I recommend Phelps for pregnant moms and those needing other surgeries.

Leaving a review for a hospital is not something I would ordinarily think of doing, but in this case I will make an exception. My 90 year old mother in law suffered a fall and we brought her to Phelps from the Bronx because we did not want to wait 10 hours in an emergency room. She received exceptional care from the Doctors and staff and she will be going home confident she will make a full recovery. Every staff member from the Orthopedic Surgeon down to the security staff were compassionate, professional, courteous and friendly. I have never had such a good experience with a hospital as I have with Phelps.
