They loved and cared for her so well provide her with all the things she needed in her recover and helped her find herself again and provided her with the knowledge she needed to start her recovery. This place truly saved my life!!! The staff were incredible from the moment of my intake all the way to my discharge. The counselors, house keeping, kitchen staff, medical staff all the staff played an important role in where I'm at today. Just a review from a loved one who is thankful for the care given. I don’t know much other than Lori is sent from a higher power to work on and coordinate rehabilitative services. We hope the tools and resources will spark the journey in lasting recovery and are so thankful for everything. Compassion is such a hard thing to convey, but it reverberates through the process from the very beginning of intake all the way to the heart of the journey. Ive been to alot of different rehabs over the years and most of the staff and counselors are rude and could care less about the addicts. But the Catskill Twin County facility is absolutely amazing! The staff and counselors are very courteous and truly do care about the addicts that are coming there for treatment. They are all very down to earth and are easy to talk to, and actually seem like they care and give a shit! When i was going to group there i use to actually look forward to going. I cant say enough good things about them! If i could i would give them a 6 star rating.

When I was done battling my addiction i checked in to there outpatient program. Brenda is amazing. I’m 5 years sober with the help of there services. They care and are always a phone call away. Over the last 5 years I have been a patient in many world class hospitals in New York City and in the last 2 years I have been a patient at Health Alliance Hospital twice. During those stays, I can say that the doctors, nurses, and nurse assistants are exceptional. They are as good if not better then some of the personnel in the highly touted hospitals. Some of these reviews are stunning since they do not reflect my experience here on two different occasions.

I was in Astro home for children back in 1972 and I remember they put me in the cottage I’ll never forget Frank Mulhern, and his wife Donna Mulhern, and their son Keith I remember Artie Freeney I remember Dave Tompkins and Terry the house maid I remember sister Patricia wow so many years ago and I still remember their names. I am now 56 years old going on 57 this year so you know that was many many years ago. I had some good experiences there, but I’ll never forget the day. My mom dropped me off how sad I felt at five years old.

Love Lexington!! Started on 412 Main Street, they got me into the methadone clinic and both places saved my life! I’ve been sober for 3 1/2 years thanks to this program. The groups are great, the counselors are the absolute best in the area, the doctors and nurses care about not only your dose, but how your feeling and if you have any issues they bring you right to the doctor! My daughter has received services from Astor for the last 2-3 years. I have nothing but good things to say about the receptionists, staff, therapists, nurses and NPs. They have been a blessing to us! When my daughter does not have an appointment one week due to a holiday or whatever, someone will call to check on us. I really appreciate that. It is tough having interns as my daughter's therapists but they need to train somewhere. If your child has extreme difficulty with change then ask for someone that is consistent.

When i was there in 2018 it was very strict which most people cant complete theu get kicked out or relapse. The then director Andrea was a tough woman to trick or get one over on. Counselors come and go thst normal. Brian the house manager was also amazing and there for a long time. I heard its not the same its easy to get over on staff which isnt good for the people trying to get better. Id love to know to who the new director is. Also the house is amazing compared to like renwick house in newburgh.
