I've posted a few comments what's important is that the program works they now let u smoke bud also something alot of us worried about for take-homes but things WILL NOT always go your way I guess my advice to myself and others is simply keep going even if it gets rough and feels hard keep going even if you know your clean and a test says otherwise false positives or whatever they might be, just know that in the long run it is saving your life!!

I'm not sure were to start. Besides having a wonderful family, friends and a few staff at Soldier On to help (really above and beyond) me in my recovery (still have a little more to do) The staff at Hillcrest Commons are just the most caring group of people. I wish I could put their names down individually but I can't thank you all enough. From the RNs, LPNs, Aids, PT/OT, Kitchen crew, Cleaners, Social Workers, Maintenance, Laundry and I'm sure I'm missing some others but what a good team. All shifts work pretty darn well together. I like that they hear your concerns and if they don't have the answer, they will try and find it. Thank you. 4.85 🌟 out of 5 🌟 Hillcrest 10.0 🌟 out of 5 🌟 Family I would recommend Hillcrest Commons Rehabilitation for those who need it.

Ive been going to the Pittsfield CSO for nearly 5 years, and the environment is very professional. Sometimes as a patient you wont be assigned to a therapist or med provider that is a good match for you, but that is simply how things work in this field. I was a resident of Berkshire Farms from August 25th 1995 to August 25th of 1996. I was in pole hahn cottage. I remember Mr Daniels, Mr Pinkston, Matt the overnight guy Dell. We loved out because he used to smoke cigarettes and could never smell if we were smoking because he was so old and always fell asleep in the chair at night. Mr Burke. I remember Lonis he was in a strong man competition or tough man fighting competition or something like that. Remember black guy Mr Evans he was a good friend of Mike Tyson. I remember Vinny from naughty by nature serving us food one day in the chow hall. Lot of memories from that place From there I was shipped to the Schrader house group home in Yaphank on Long Island. It has now been taken over by The game farm.

I felt welcomed by all the other guests as well. Everyone is there for the same reason so its very easy to get along and you build a family forever . I've been out for over 6 months now and I still talk to at least 15 of the guys. Highly recommend. In fact I have already recommend it to a few people. I was sent here from St.johnsbury Vt, hospital because I came to them suicidal. They took me even after the admin had left for the day. I was put in I believe the Tyler 2 ward. Although this particular ward had not been updated, it was still clean. The staff was exceptional. The group therapy was amazing. They always took the time to talk to everyone. We even had a music class with one of the employees that was great. It brought a lot of people out of there rooms . I was they for I believe 10 days for a mental evaluation and to keep watch because I was suicidal. They always took time to help me when I had bad days.

The Brattleboro Retreat saved my life. It is a true treasure, especially for a mental health hospital. The bad reviews make me sad, because I think this place is misrepresented. I’ve been to bad mental health hospitals, and this is not one of them. We got to do art, music, and have outside time. It is such a beautiful setting right on lake with beautiful views. It was built in the 1800s as a mental health hospital, and I was told they intentionally built it at this location with all these huge windows because they know that being around nature can help heal people. It really made a difference for me being able to see the snow and nature out the window, instead of just being trapped with white walls and fluorescent lights. The people really care. What I learned when I was there is if you’re serious and you put the work in, and you take the advice that they’re giving you, and you participate in group therapy and individual therapy, and do the work, you can get better and you can heal and you can make sure you never have to go to a mental health hospital again. Some people would just be there and blow it off and not take it seriously and complain the whole time and not get better. You get back what you put in, and The Brattleboro Retreat is the most beautiful and safe setting to recover and heal in.
