Locations not great and the hours are limited? Don't understand that with need, and to easy to miss in traffic. But, though understaffed they do manage to assist best they can and are plesant to deal with. As for the phones your better off with a walk-in... at least face to face you'll get quicker results than that foolish answering system, if its working at all... will gives you the run around. Use to be able to circumvent this feature for direct contact with a pulse but that seems to have been eliminated for automation? That helps no one but the office.

I did not believe I would have had such great results or have had met and worked with the professional staff and friendly and helpful resources, that have made available, for the clients. God Bless the services and outreach programs at Camino Nuevo. I highly recommend Camino Nuevo for I am very confident others will have similar success, just as long as one gives their trust and commitment, Camino will be sure to assist with all else that's required to continue their support and care in keeping one safe during the difficult times that possibly lie ahead and involve a strong team and staff to complete their goals in remaining clean and healthy. Methadone maintenance is the gold standard for opiate addiction for a reason. This stuff works, in addition I’ll add my counselor Katie is a straight up G. She truly cares about her clients. The rest of the admin staff is lovely as well. Our dosing nurses are fast and friendly. The only negative is the head nurse zaria or whatever, she leaves ALOT to be desired to say the least. How she is a medical professional at all is honestly a mystery.

I still remember my counselor at Purcell, Andrew saying that everything I lost due to alcohol and/or drugs will come back to me in a bigger, better form and he was so right! I use to come here for years and then I moved and have been guest dosing - my husband and I - and there’s no clinic available in the area not even Kingston.
My home clinics still Binghamton - I emailed and emailed and no response a whenever i go in their busy. They know me,
They were both my counselors before I left.
I just need to have my insurance cover bc it’s expensive and taking from my kids and I cannot keep borrowing. Please 🙏 just let us be patients there or help us set up a can every day 4 hours a day to get to Binghamton. But doing that will affect me working. Idk im just fed up and I wish I wasn’t on the dose I am or I’d just stop.
Yet id still give 5 stars bc everyone is just really sweet.

wouldn’t trade what I was taught for anything. Their program uses science and a genuine look at life regarding both what worked and what didn’t about all of the choices I made. I don’t believe daily declarations that we are “powerless” offer much growth like other modalities. I’m in long term recovery for 8+ yrs and I’m not anonymous, nor ashamed or regretful bc I can own every choice. It was a combo of St Jude’s and Landmark courses combined.
I highly recommend if you or someone you know, has frequent relapses and 12 step places haven’t made a lasting impact, or if you’re someone who appreciates the rational and science behind our behaviors. I will say, I did my assignments , procrastinated at some, but I did them. I didn’t have anything to lose and I went in there disbelieving anything could have me believe that I could live happy without CM. I didn’t want to go at all lol! Back then it took hell and high water to get me on a plane, (I missed flight on more than 1 occasion) but Im so grateful I did eventually get on the flight and make it there.
Best advice from Rit Santelli… “Don’t give up what you want most, for what you want in the moment”- I had triggers when I got home to Tx back then, but I knew what was happening and what I wanted most mattered more.

After years of bouncing around the recovery world, I realized that I had nothing from which to recover! My problems were with my erroneous thinking and the behavior that resulted from the thinking. I am free now and always have been to make the decisions that shape my life. My experience at St Jude was transformative.

If you are looking for a place to change the way you think, the actions you take and your relationship with drugs or alcohol than this is the place for you. The opposite of a traditional rehab experience, St Jude’s and it’s Freedom Model start with a simple premise- there is nothing inherently wrong with you. No illness or disease, no life long problem that will hang over you till the day you die, but rather a simple misunderstanding- that all the benefits you have perceived from drinking or drugging are illusionary. They are in your mind and they proceed to unpack all the myths associated with drinking or drugging and boil it do to some simple facts- one, you have free will and are actively choosing to drink. Two you have an autonomous mind that only you control and can be taught that these perceived benefits you have associated with drinking are simply not true. And third, that you drink or drug because you BELIEVE it is making you happy and in reality it does not, at least not in the way you are drinking or drugging now- or else why are you reading this? Once they teach you this and unshackle you from all the recovery BS you will have a revelation- that this is all in your control and that if you want to change you always can. It’s that simple. The combination of one on one instruction and fact and science based statistics will time and time again reinforce this critical concept. I can honestly say this changed my life. Not just my unhealthy relationship with drinking- but all aspects of my life. It left me a better educated person and as a result a better husband, father, worker and person. In short it left me a better global citizen with an awareness of why I do what I do and the ability to modify my behaviors if I honestly want to.
The staff is nothing short of awesome. From the meals (thanks Dave, who by the way is a trained gourmet chef) to the accommodations, to the instructors, you immediately feel like you are part of the family, living in a home with great people in a warm and supportive environment that allows you to comfortably sort yourself out. They are right to call it a retreat, not a rehab, because it is more about teaching you how to live and be a better human than about convincing you you are weak and powerless. I have been home for a month now and have been in numerous social settings with people drinking and have not once felt compelled to drink. I simply choose not to at this point. And that’s the best part- there is no illusion that you can never drink again (but studies show about 50% of the people choose not to) but once they teach you the facts about drinking you are empowered to intelligently choose what you want to do.
I want to thank everyone there from Mark, Michelle, Steve (the authors and instructors) to everyone else who helped me during my stay. I can’t say enough great things about this experience. It was nothing short of life changing!
You can do this if you want to change and the Freedom Model is the key to a healthier, happier, and more balanced life- I promise you that.

I can’t even express how much I love this place! I have been going to therapy for a very long time and have never been to one where both therapist and Psychiatrist go out of their way for true emergencies. Carolyn is my therapist for and the first time EVER since I have been in therapy she has offered/ allowing me to call her the day before and day after for a brief phone appointment (which isn’t usually allowed) because I am pressing criminal charges against my brother who rapped me throughout my whole childhood. From the child victims act passing my statues of limitations are now lifted. I was on the brink of suicide and I have to say from both her and Dr Dilullo I have to thank for still being here to even write this review. Dr Dilullo is absolutely amazing as well. He knows his stuff and will go out of his way for severe emergencies which is sometimes why he runs late once 1:30/2 pm hits so if you don’t want to wait I suggest making an early appointment. Not many people understand why the wait is long for him and get mad until they are one of those people. He will fit a patient to make sure they are safe. People who work in mental health are manufacturers of hope and boy these 2 manufacture extremely high quality of hope. 💝 Thank you for saving my life and helping me fight through these hard times.

On the other I have never had an organization refuse to listen to my feedback like Mohawk Opportunities. The staff at lower levels are grouchy and talk down to you, it's very demoralizing and triggers the very issues they claim to be helping me with. I'm high functioning so if I'm getting treated like this I fear for the other clients.

I stumbled upon hope house accidentally. I was new to the city of Albany. I ended up in a rough situation and was kicked on the streets pregnant with 3 children. It was freezing cold and my children and I were not dressed correctly to be on the streets in the winter weather. I was having a panic attack and needed help. I thought this place was an apartment building and began knocking and ringing the bell frantically. The staff and women there were so supportive and loving to me and my children. They had no reason to open the door and let us get warm. They had no reason to offer my children a bite to eat. Instead they did those thing and then sat there with me for the entire day making phone call after phone call when the police failed to help me. I will forever be grateful for there assistance, love and kindness that day. I was only there for a day as I waited to find a DV shelter as my situation wasn’t quite what hope house is there for but the kindness and love I felt from every single person in that building was something I’ll never forget. If your struggling with addiction I KNOW they will welcome you and your babies with loving arms and support.

The care and support our grandfather received at Ellis Hospital have been nothing short of extraordinary. For over three weeks, he has been in their care, and throughout this entire time, the staff has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure his comfort and well-being. They never gave up on him, even during the most challenging moments, always striving to keep him healthy and at ease.
From the very beginning, the team at Ellis Hospital treated our family with compassion, respect, and kindness. Every member of the staff, from the doctors to the nurses, has been incredibly attentive, offering not only excellent medical care but also emotional support for our family during this difficult time. New York is ranked 22nd nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $56,653.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in New York vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in New York. Most treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in New York that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here’s the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment in New York.
