Some wildly inaccurate comments have compelled me to write a review. I have been with tempo for almost two years now, abrasive, unprofessional, and rude is a complete misrepresentation of this staff. I was once in your position so I have an understanding of where you may be at mentally. If you can’t get one over on people that doesn’t mean they are rude or insensitive. Its time to grow up. I dealt directly with Charlene over email and on the phone last week and she was nothing, but pleasant and helpful. She worked with me and we reached a mutually beneficial outcome that same day. I know I am not the easiest person to deal with, but the Tempo staff have always treated me with respect and kindness since day one. I suggest you continue to seek help and take it seriously. This is your life and if you are having a hard time with people who are truly looking out for you, it might be time to do a serious evaluation of your life and who you are. I want to thank Tempo for everything they have done for me the past year and 10 months. I am thankful for all of you.

While there are always flaws no matter where you go, it's not a one-size-fits-all. I have personally witnessed for four years many people succeed who are committed to changing their lives.
Truth is you have to not only want it but also be willing to work for it. There comes a point in an addict's life where they will do anything to change their circumstances and patterns of behavior that led to their current state, and those are the clients that succeed at Odyssey, or anywhere else.

While attending a program at the Harlem Parish next door, my mother of 91 had an non-emergency, urgent situation. We entered the facility not knowing what to expect. We were greeted with upmost respect and kindness. From the security detail at the door to the 2 receptionists at the window, these wonderful people worked collectively to get us what we need to attend the program comfortably. Not sure what’s with the bad reviews here about but I’ve tried but the telephone & in-person and both are “functional.” This system is for ex-military & nothing says we are here to get VIP treatment as there are millions fellow comrades (Soldiers Creed) are using the same system. I’ve been to other countries abroad and this system is still far exceeds those other systems abroad. Thank you VA and all your staffs!

START treatment was a part of this neighborhood long before any family even contemplated moving here. I owe my life to the hard work done by the people here. You cannot judge a facility by who decides to hang out on the street close to the clinic. If you are worried about about the locals bothering you perhaps you should think about helping the homeless issue riddled in this family friendly neighborhood. If people had somewhere to go, they would not choose to hang out by a methadone program. Would you?
