The Paradise Recovery Center is a residential substance abuse treatment center in Phoenix, Arizona. It combines a comfortable, home-like setting with expert clinical care. It also puts you directly into a community of others in recovery via the shared residence.

Residential programs like these can offer you 24 hour supervision, security and immediate access to support as needed. The length of stay varies based on need, but the program typically lasts between 30 and 90 days. 

But no matter how long you stay, your treatment plan will be tailored to your needs. They accept Medicaid alongside some private insurance plans. 

Extensive Support and Collaboration

You’ll work with staff at this residence to co-develop your treatment plan based on your needs and goals. But there’s more to their support than this. During treatment, you’ll have access to case management services for additional support.

A case manager works hard to ensure your needs are being met in treatment and your community. Helping you get in touch with support groups, providers and other resources is a big part of what they do. They can also assist you in meeting your daily needs and connecting with social services.

Something I like about this program is the inclusion of activities for clients. Substance abuse recovery is obviously the focus, but group activities in and out of the house can be a fun way to sharpen the skills you’ll use to support your sobriety once treatment ends.

The residence is located in a quiet Phoenix neighborhood, and to an outsider, it looks like any other home. At the same time, it isn’t too far from the greater Phoenix area, putting you within reach of the area’s recovery community and resources, not to mention great shopping and dining.
