This is simply for Zach(Zack?), the guy at front desk who took my call. Making the choice to call the Aster Springs Ohio admissions team, do an assessment, and accept their recommendation was not easy. I was scared and thought there was no hope. My wonderful admissions resource, Renessa, was so helpful in guiding me every step of the way by answering all my questions, challenging my ED’s fears about treatment, and encouraging me. I would not have been able to make this choice without her advocacy and support. When you walk through the doors, you are met with some of the kindest people you will ever come across in this field, and sometimes they even come out to the parking lot to help you not have to walk through the doors alone. They all genuinely care about this work and will do everything they can to help you on your journey. The staff is phenomenal from maintenance, RCS’s, Nurses, the Clinical staff and Dietitians to Leadership. While in treatment, you build great rapport with your treatment team, especially the more honest you are with them, but you also connect so much with all the staff in the building. To work at Aster Springs Ohio is to care about the patients by challenging the eating disorders and supporting the person every step of the way. They truly all care so much and all have their own reasons for being in this work. I absolutely gained my life back by choosing to come to Aster Springs Ohio, and I would make the same choice every time. The work of fighting your eating disorder and choosing recovery continues when you walk out of the doors, but you move forward with all the skills, tools, and support learned during your stay in addition to joining the alumni community. If you are struggling, reach out and share your concerns with the admissions staff. I know it made all the difference for me in being able to take steps towards choosing recovery consistently. If you are at Aster Springs, you will not have to struggle with anything alone. Instead of fighting your eating disorder in isolation and secrets, you will be met with a safe space for honesty, support, and healing.

The staff were nothing but kind and caring they helped me With everything my therapist kam was incredible my Dietician Emily was incredible worked with me with my meals the nurses were awesome Abby the director of nursing is awesome she was so kind All the other nurses dayrlie Shawn Ashley Courtney were nothing but sweet one of the days I was sick and not feeling well and I got nothing but support from the whole staff! Ovlia the director of toleto center was so kind to me made sure my needs were met and made me feel comfortable giving me my own room because I needed it! They also gave us new beds and dressers and the building is very nice and always clean! My psychiatrist Dr Sadah was nothing but kind and adjusted my meds when needed! Katiyin the miller supervisor was so sweet and so kind we even got to see her dog along with Ovlia dog dolly! I could not ask for a better team they understood my needs! Rebekah the nurse practitioner was so incredible and and caring to make sure we were medically stable and all the RCS were nothing but kind always caring when I needed something they would help me! Life Stance is amazing. I was seeking talk therapy to address years of trauma that had been suppressed and wanted real professionalism. I found that and more through Ms. N. Jemison and Ms. K. Boylston. Two phenomenal women who listened effectively and weren't judgemental as my previous counselor was. I asked for spiritually grounded, understanding, and compassionate people who would relate to my experiences.
I have formed a tight bond between the two and after the first couple of visits, it became as if I were talking to my best friends.
They've assisted me through grief, after the loss of my mom and brother, identity theft and all of the lives that I was instrumental in helping transition to the Lord, via hospice.
I would encourage anyone who is truly honest with themselves and are struggling with life challenges and and changes to seek assistance with Life Stance, it will help you heal.

But the hero was the main woman you see right when you go in the door and go up to the sign in window and her name is ANNIE! A voice you’ll never forget the patience of an angel I commend that facility and the professionalism of every single worker from the janitor to the secretaries to the doctors. Everyone played a crucial role in my cognitive development in awareness, and led me to the next stage in my life. This is a place I wish I could be at forever, I am now 38 years old and I can remember the little noise cancels in the hallway and The chairs And the small waiting room, but the absolute perfect set of people, not just anyone was hired, but the best were set in place giving such a variety of availability to the best mental health healthcare I have received thus far. I truly want to thank Every single person that I met along my journey there, exceptional treatment, it took me 3 to 5 psychologist before I found my match, and they were very, very understanding never judged never gave me a side eye worked with me through everything and every change and made me feel comfortable telling them and asking them anything . I have been to every rehab around Sandusky myself and have had loved ones go to RIO and I can honestly say this recovery center goes above and beyond for every single client. Every single staff member truly cares, they take the 12th step x45 every single day and don’t just clock in and out; they show up for you. Whether it’s staying late to talk, helping you with a towel or housing, or just making sure you have the support you need to stay on track, the techs, therapist, case managers, nurses even the directors they ALL will go to any length to help you stay sober and rebuild your life.
The environment is safe, supportive, and full of hope. They treat you like a person, not a number, and they believe in you even when you don’t believe in yourself yet. Thanks to this program, I’ve built a strong foundation in recovery and learned tools that actually work in the real world!

Gave 4 stars not because I've been there but because I've contacted them for some questions and they were really helpful and they do great things for people with very little money. I would've gave 5 stars but it's so far from my house that it's impossible for me to attend. The Salvation Army helped my family some years ago when they were in need and I'll always be greatful for that. I donate to the downriver store often.

I’ve been coming since since November 25, 2024 & I believe it was meant for me to come this clinic cause when I called the 800 number to get in another facility that I wanted to go to , they couldn’t get me in into sometime in December & I was telling the representative I can’t wait to dec I’m not gon make it gonna relapse so she said Nardin Park had an opening mind you I’ve never been on methadone
I didn’t even know it was a Methadone clinic but I took what the lady offered me & im on methadone now and it has helped me stay clean from pills.. they’re about business at nardin park good staff Great counselors well the two that I know of Ms. Todd and Ms.Burton I love them they’re so awesome n helpful but don’t take no bs as well .. long story short I’m happy to be a patient here don’t get me wrong. It’s a lovely clinic, but I don’t plan on being here for a year after the year. That’s my goal but I’m happy I came here with the right people much love ❤️

This place is the best! I've been to other treatment centers but Nardin Park outclasses them all by leaps and bounds. The staff has a friendly but no nonsense attitude which I appreciate. They are professional and caring at the same time. For someone like me that is here for treatment and not a "Social Club", NPRC is the place to be!!!
Well, it's 2023 and time for a life change. Thanks to NPRC I have been "clean" for over 2 years. I feel that I am ready to take the next step in my life. Time to detox out of the program. I am so ready to move on. Thank you NPRC staff for helping me to put my feet on solid, stable, drug-free ground.

The staff is pretty decent. …Some are a little less than ideal, but overall, this place saved my life. I would like to say that Ms. Rudolph and Dr. Petty are such compassionate individuals that go out of their way to make sure everything is done properly. …on a consistent basis.
