5 stars although I believe I would have enjoyed my stay more thoroughly had I had a Jacuzzi in my room !!! and I was blessed to only have had a roommate for 1 night that they placed another human in my room out of 30 I was there? Just my opinion?
As for the program, saved my life ! When I really didn't care to myself, I learned a lot while I was there.
Most importantly I somehow had the epiphany that I never went to treatment because I wanted to quit using drugs, I went to treatment because I still wanted to use despite heavy consequences and I didn't know how to stop, and I had exhausted every resource I could come up with to continue using.
I have now been drug and alcohol free for 17 months and my life is better than ever, I didn't expect to get this far , this easily.
A certain staff member really helped me in making the next next decision on where to go from Eastwood that was a very important decision, not to go back into the same environment where I consistently succeeded to use a failed to stay clean, now matter how many reasons I came up with, or who else I could convince that it was a sound decision.
I face my problems today and almost look forward to solving my problems as they arise ,there's nothing that can will would or could stop me from living a good life other than poor choices that would or could lead me in the wrong direction.

This is far and away the best in-patient rehab center in Southeast Michigan. The overwhelming majority of negative reviews are predicated upon "I didn't stay sober!" or "My [son, brother, husband] didn't stay sober!" Sorry, but no recovery program can do the work on your behalf. Period. Eastwood provides and instills all the resources, tools, and planning that anybody needs to recover. Rehab is a stepping stool out of the hole you're in; unfortunately you still have to climb, or build the ladder (with 12 steps).
The majority of staff are themselves in recovery, and wholeheartedly dedicated to guiding others and sharing what they have achieved. There is not a better collection of people who sincerely want to save your life than Gwen, Eric, Tim, Kim, Jake, Jeremy, Jason... ALL of these angels. This building is a beacon of hope, a light that can help anyone find their way out of the darkness of addiction. I showed up here with nothing but desperation, and was provided with shelter, a warm bed, hot food, medical assistance, a wide-variety of programming that attacks my addiction from every angle. Eastwood provided everything from clothing and hygiene products to peer recovery coaching and out-patient aftercare, to long-term sober living once you complete programming. You can show up here broke, broken, and on the brink of death..and depart with literally everything you need to become your best you. They make sure you don't leave until you have housing or a safe place to go to. They make sure you have a plan for the necessary help after in-patient. They make sure you're ready, that you're okay.
If you or somebody you know has an alcohol or drug problem, Eastwood will truly provide every single thing needed to put the pieces of your life back together. This is an ongoing community, this is truly a brotherhood. This place and these people are keeping people out of cages and graves. They care. They will love you until you love yourself. Does that sound corny? I think killing yourself with drugs and alcohol sounds pretty corny. Pick one. This place matters <3

I work in healthcare an an RN and I was a patient here for a short time and the doctor that I met and assessed me was a very good person....can't remember the name but she made accurate diagnosis that I agreed with. The therapist that I saw for 1-2 session was good as well, can't remember his name either but overall my experience was good!

For a 6 hour class it went by fast. Breaks and Lunch were great as far as how long you got. Don was a great Mediator. My class was great everyone participated. Would recommend this organization.

I loved this class! We had Don as our teacher and he was extremely professional and relatable. He gave everyone a chance to speak and asked amazing reflective questions. I had the best experience here. The minute we got to the surgery floor, we were greeted by Carmen with her huge smile and friendliness.
Raven was aide who took me back, and she was also wonderful and caring.
My Pre Op nurse was Candice and Post Op was Manera. Both of them went above and beyond and made me feel safe and taken care of.
Shout out to my anesthesiologist and the male RN who gave me the nerve block...also both fantastic.
Great care was received and I would definitely return for any more surgeries if needed!

My in take Nurse was Candice. She was very kind and gentle with me. I had to stay overnight and my Nurses were LaToya and Abby. They were so kind and you could tell they really cared about me. I have been going here for over 5 years. I was referred by several people. This is the best counseling agency I have been to and trust me I have been to many. The customer services is great! The staff are professional and knowledgeable. They see court ordered clients too and when they have to report the non-compliance clients get mad and write a negative review, so unfair. Addicts do recover when they choose to!!!! Ty QBH for the tools to stay clean by making me go to group and therapy 🙌. Which made me start going to NA meetings. I believe in early recovery you gotta do 90/90. 90 meetings in 90 days to start change 😉😎. Remember to give yourself a break and get into NA to start working the steps of NA. The books how and why were my best tools. You must have a sponsor to work the steps. You can't do the steps alone because how do you know if you're doing them right 👍 and you'll have a friend forever.

The people here saved my life. I have nothing bad to say...sure the lines get backed up, that's ANY MAT clinic(and that's once in awhile in tough situations...this is my 4th clinic, and the best yet. I waited 1-2hrs EVERY day at my 1st 2 clinics). The front staff do their best with all they deal with. From seeing both perspectives, they do their best. Counselors are outstanding!

Been here since '19 and I will most likely be a lifer.This place's functionality can vary from day to day, which isn't ideal for people trying to stabilize. That said, the NPs (Doctors everyone calls them) are 11/10. Reene (sorry about spelling) andTonya are absolute angels, doing Gods work. Swriously they couldn't be better. The front desk ladies are good too, always busy. And thank god for the nurses too.They have been reliable lately and that is nice. Overall this place has some issues but don't throw away the bushell for one bad apple. Bonnie is also amazing and although I've only had a few interactions with her, each one was more pleasant than the last. Great lady.

Life Challenge is a life saver for me. I’m so grateful to Pastor Jeff Bonzelar and my spiritual mom pastor Sheila as well as the teachers Bro Ken Keane, Bro Bob…and so many others. I enjoyed my experience at Positive Images. I learned a lot and most of the recovery coaches do care and want the best for the clients. There is a few things they need do need to work on and hope they do in the future- which was allowing some clients to continuesly break the rules and not sticking to their punishments. Many should have been kicked but werent and it started to affect the people that were there who really l wanted to get the help and followed the rules.

This is not a hotel. It is when you have found yourself hopeless, lost and homeless and you have come to the last house on the block meaning you have lost everything and burned most or all you had. You have nothing and the only way to go is up. You are not owed anything. But it is a start from the streets. Utilize what they have to offer for your benefit and when you have moved up go back and help those coming for help. Be humble and understand you cannot function without money! Nothing is free!!!

I've read past reviews and it's disheartening to hear given my time while short was beneficial. Yes the men's bathroom was atrocious but I dare you to make me one rehab facility that accepts medicaid insurance where the men's bathroom doesn't look bad. Sacred Heart for example is supposed to be the top tier for bottom insurance and the men there never flush leave their stuff all over it's like that especially in detox grown men don't know how to use proper hygene. But the staff went I was there a couple months ago were amazing friendly and funny especially Diamond she had me laughing a lot. The food is pretty good so I don't know what the one guy was complaining about mold. I've been to some of the best and worst rehabs and I can tell you it's what you put into it. If you are trouble you are gonna attract trouble or if you think you can just come in and coast and not participate then you won't get anything out of it. I had a bad relapse recently and unfortunately have to go back but I'm glad I'm going back to a place that has love and cares. Only negative thing I can say is what most would consider great is that they allow you to bring your personal cellphones in. Its great to listen to music and text family to passed the time but there is too much temptation to call or text the wrong people who could convince you to reconsider wanting to stay. Other than that I give this place a 5 and they do a lot with not having a lot of money

The detox facility takes people off the street 24/7, that’s an amazing thing. The detox nurses deal with a lot and do it with kindness, compassion, and composure. I am incredibly grateful for the rest they provided me that I was in desperate need of. If you are a person with the capacity to donate to a facility, this is the one. They are operating with limited resources.
