5 stars although I believe I would have enjoyed my stay more thoroughly had I had a Jacuzzi in my room !!! and I was blessed to only have had a roommate for 1 night that they placed another human in my room out of 30 I was there? Just my opinion? As for the program, saved my life ! When I really didn't care to myself, I learned a lot while I was there. Most importantly I somehow had the epiphany that I never went to treatment because I wanted to quit using drugs, I went to treatment because I still wanted to use despite heavy consequences and I didn't know how to stop, and I had exhausted every resource I could come up with to continue using. I have now been drug and alcohol free for 17 months and my life is better than ever, I didn't expect to get this far , this easily. A certain staff member really helped me in making the next next decision on where to go from Eastwood that was a very important decision, not to go back into the same environment where I consistently succeeded to use a failed to stay clean, now matter how many reasons I came up with, or who else I could convince that it was a sound decision. I face my problems today and almost look forward to solving my problems as they arise ,there's nothing that can will would or could stop me from living a good life other than poor choices that would or could lead me in the wrong direction.

This is far and away the best in-patient rehab center in Southeast Michigan. The overwhelming majority of negative reviews are predicated upon "I didn't stay sober!" or "My [son, brother, husband] didn't stay sober!" Sorry, but no recovery program can do the work on your behalf. Period. Eastwood provides and instills all the resources, tools, and planning that anybody needs to recover. Rehab is a stepping stool out of the hole you're in; unfortunately you still have to climb, or build the ladder (with 12 steps). The majority of staff are themselves in recovery, and wholeheartedly dedicated to guiding others and sharing what they have achieved. There is not a better collection of people who sincerely want to save your life than Gwen, Eric, Tim, Kim, Jake, Jeremy, Jason... ALL of these angels. This building is a beacon of hope, a light that can help anyone find their way out of the darkness of addiction. I showed up here with nothing but desperation, and was provided with shelter, a warm bed, hot food, medical assistance, a wide-variety of programming that attacks my addiction from every angle. Eastwood provided everything from clothing and hygiene products to peer recovery coaching and out-patient aftercare, to long-term sober living once you complete programming. You can show up here broke, broken, and on the brink of death..and depart with literally everything you need to become your best you. They make sure you don't leave until you have housing or a safe place to go to. They make sure you have a plan for the necessary help after in-patient. They make sure you're ready, that you're okay. If you or somebody you know has an alcohol or drug problem, Eastwood will truly provide every single thing needed to put the pieces of your life back together. This is an ongoing community, this is truly a brotherhood. This place and these people are keeping people out of cages and graves. They care. They will love you until you love yourself. Does that sound corny? I think killing yourself with drugs and alcohol sounds pretty corny. Pick one. This place matters <3

Easterseals MORC is a thorough drug abuse treatment program in Southfield, Michigan b. Easter Seals is not perfect but what is. I guess I just got lucky. Kody Wright and Alyssa Ignasiak are wonderful case managers at southfield. Jessica Hubbard is a great therapist and listener. And Jeremy from peer support specialist was a great help when I needed someone. Easter seals provided me transportation to my in-person appointments which is very helpful, it's difficult for me to drive so im grateful for the service. Genoa pharmacyvalso delivers medicine directly to me. What else could you ask for? Unfortunately many of us are suffering and need help. Easter seals is doing God's work, people should donate. If I only had a million dollars... my only gripe is with psychiatry, there is no cross over/middle man communication between psych doctors or case managers. It's either that or they are to busy cause the world is too crazy lol. Thanks Easter Seals crew I earn be like you when I grow up

This place isn’t so bad. I’ve been getting treatment here and off for a year. The communication can be off a bit however it’s not the end of the world. I like the many options they have for treatment. If something doesn’t work out then I can try another. The Tele health visits is a plus for me too. I have zero complaints.

I want to express my immense gratitude to the team at this MORC location. I signed up a few weeks ago and the intake staff was professional and polite, but the specific care team I was assigned has been truly exceptional. My psychiatrist, Dr. Silke Tylor, is fantastic. I was out of ADHD medication during the holidays and she recognized the urgency immediately. She squeezed me in for an in-person visit within three days instead of making me wait two weeks. She conducted a comprehensive assessment and expedited screening so I could pick up my prescription the same day. She is a patient listener who truly cares. Later, when I needed a CDL medical letter urgently, she wrote it within an hour of my check-up so I could meet my deadline. My case manager, Alex Lacoste, has also been outstanding. He is always on top of everything and responds to calls or texts immediately with a great attitude. When there was a pharmacy mix-up, he coordinated with Dr. Tylor to resolve it within minutes. He also ensured the CDL letter was emailed to me the moment it was ready. I also want to thank Marcos Orr for the individual therapy. We had a video session that lasted over an hour and a half. He was amazing. He is incredibly understanding, passionate, and showed great empathy and patience. He really listened and understood my situation deeply. The facility is efficient with very short wait times and friendly staff. This is the best mental health center I have experienced in 15 years. I highly recommend them.

My dad recently stayed at this hospital, and I cannot say enough good things about the nurses and staff who cared for him. We understand that not every patient or family gets the outcome they hope for, but it’s important to separate the medical outcome from the compassion, dedication, and humanity of the people doing the work every day. The nurses and staff caring for my dad were incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. My dad is 86 years old and truly one of the kindest people you could ever meet — he talks to everyone, loves everyone, and treats every person with warmth and respect. The staff treated him with the same kindness in return, and that meant the world to our family. Thank you to everyone who cared for him with such compassion and dignity. 10/10.

The most amazing and caring staff on the planet!!! Big advantages are- you stay in their facility the entire time and always watched by a personal care giver and nurse. Other places make you get a hotel room and they don’t watch you. Advanced Detox also prescribes you all the meds you need to recover as quickly as possible. Some other places don’t do this. Advanced Detox WANTS YOU TO WIN AND THEY STOP AT NOTHING TO MAKE SURE YOU DO JUST THAT!!! I am eternally grateful for every single person in that beautiful God serving organization. I got so much love for this place. From my initial late night phone call with RN Jeanne who reassured me that I was correct in refusing to get stuck on suboxone for 7oh dependence to meeting with Laura and then all the great nursing/patient care staff (especially Pat, with RT) as well as Dr. Aharonov, this place is the real deal. I don’t think I would have been able to get off 7oh any other way. The morning after the procedure was no walk in the park (fatigue, diarrhea, nausea, insomnia); but not having to suffer thru the intense body aches and pains as well as other opiate withdrawal symptoms for 4-7 days at home was well worth the price of admission. If you can handle a bad hangover for a day plus a couple more days of diarrhea, you can handle this. They also give you meds to help ease whatever symptoms you have after. I can’t tell you how many times I had tried quitting at home unsuccessfully (even with comfort meds like gabapentin and clonidine); I knew I had to go somewhere where I could just “rip off the bandaid” and be done with the nightmare I was stuck in and flying to Michigan was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. I’m going on nearly a month now since I was there and you couldn’t pay me enough to ever touch 7oh again. I’m forever grateful for this place and the amazing staff that works there.

I have been going to this facility on & off since 2017. I have seen many staff members come & go, and right now, I believe the Dearborn CMS location has the best group. They have each others backs, they work with patients to be flexible, and the team as a whole works with synergy. Tiffani has the talent of memorization, multi-tasking, dealing with difficult situations, plus many others all while maintaining a professional & pleasant demeanor. RN Tanya is professional, explains things clearly & thoroughly, and has a really big heart for her job! Counselor Yete gives great talks & guidance. She shows concern for us, in our journey inside & outside of the clinic. She is wonderful! And of course our lovley Dr!!! She is so professional with the best bedside manner. She is one of the only Dr's I've experienced here who really cares. I recommend anyone needing care to come here.

Honestly your stay at any rehab really comes down to what you put in it. The food is good. Its a big place with nice lounging areas. Of course the beds are cramped and not king size but what else would you expect. They just put a lot of money into the outside. A basketball court and pickle ball.. they treat you well there. All the staff is amazing. Ryan and Lori are both awesome! George in the kitchen is the man! Just remember its not supposed to be a 5 star resort. I would recommend this place to anyone. The one thing I would complain about is I always seem to get seriously congested and sick but hey it is rehab. I am thankful for meridian and thankful to all the staff!!! 😁😁😁🫠

I appreciate all the loving staff at Brighton. This is the place you want to be, if you want to recover. It's clean, classes are phenomenal, nurses, doctors, therapists, milieu techs, med techs, environmental services, everyone is great. Aftercare here is also wonderful. 4/5 stars, but here's why. I was not an attendee, simply a support person for a friend who decided to cut his stay short, but here is what I can say from being a person limited on the outside. 1.) The amount of ability they give to allow for the family member to contact their loved ones is great! I was astounded by the high allowances of connection they give to those who are admitted. It's a huge plus, which is shocking but greatly appreciated. 2.) Every person there was kind but committed. I got the vibe that they were there to do a job, and do it well, but without being rude. I could tell there was compassion here for the people they take in. 3.) They have rules that are relatively strict, as is true of most rehab facilities. 4.) They were clean, and offered as many amenities as they could given that insurance covers those who stay there. It does feel hospital-ey, but it is owned by a hospital, so no real major un-expectations there. MY ONLY COMPLAINT: the heat and A/C in the building seems to be lacking. It seems the facility is well worn, and could use a re-up. It gets hot in there in the summertime, and I can imagine it would be difficult for me to sleep there. Apart from that, I have zero complaints. I feel this team of people did the best they could given the circumstances, and I appreciate their dedication to their jobs.

I had an excellent experience with Milford Counseling Center and highly recommend them, especially for anyone going through the driver’s license restoration process. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!! GET THE HELP ITS WORTH IT!!!❤️❤️❤️ I truly can’t say enough about how much the New Oakland Clarkston location changed my life. I came in during a crisis, and I left feeling stable, hopeful, and genuinely happy. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted with open arms—there’s no judgment, just compassion, warmth, and professionalism. I was part of the face-to-face program at 28 years old, and everything exceeded my expectations. The group therapy sessions were incredibly powerful and gave me tools I didn’t even realize I was missing. My group leader, Kailee, was with me for the majority of the program and is genuinely one of the most bubbly, kindhearted, and knowledgeable souls I’ve ever met. She created a space that was safe, supportive, and uplifting every single day. Niki, my therapist, is truly amazing—so insightful, attentive, and caring. Dominique, the nurse, is an absolute gem—compassionate, patient, and always there when you need her. And Matt, the psychologist, didn’t waste any time helping me find the right medication and support. He took my concerns seriously and acted quickly, which made a world of difference. The staff here truly care. It doesn’t feel like “treatment”—it feels like a community of people who love what they do and want to help you grow and heal. The food was great every day, the atmosphere was calming and structured, and they even gave us breaks for fresh air, which made a huge difference for my mental health. This place gave me a full toolbox to take with me, and for the first time in a long time, I feel ready. But here’s the truth: you get out what you put in. If you show up, participate, and commit to the process, you will see change. This team will support you every step of the way, but you have to meet them there. What sets New Oakland apart is that their care doesn’t stop when you walk out the door. They set you up with a real plan for continued support—and they actually follow through. I will forever be grateful for the experience I had here. This team helped me find myself again. Thank you, New Oakland Clarkston. You saved me.

I absolutely love this place and now that I'm gone I even miss them. The majority of the employees there care about the residents. It's clean, they make sure your withdrawals are not too bad. When u 1st arrived you will be in detox 3 days or so then go over to the residents side for 29 days. The rooms have 2 to 3 people in it with its own shower/bath. Breakfast is 7, lunch 11, dinner 4 and a snack at 8. If you're too sick to go to the dining area they will bring it to your room. Mondays and Tuesday are your long days you're in meetings from 9am to 10pm. Group meetings are mandatory every day 9-11. Church is on Sunday and Bible Study on Wednesday. They will help u get on your feet so u can survive when u get out. Oh and the men monitors are cute too, i know one resident who has started messing around with one recently. But the majority of them are not like that. It's a spiritually grounded place where God is first. Oh and you get to keep your phone and smoke whenever you want to. Let's see what else , Oh the food is good now it wasn't when I 1st got there but we complained about it at our weekly meeting and it has improved, a lot! As far as I'm concerned it's one of the best around, but I've only been to one other Christian guidance center, i caught COVID there. I was only there for 2 weeks but they never took my vitals when I was there. And Harbor Light checks them every 4 hours when you're in detox. And once you have completed everything you will get a certificate and a coin. Oh and u have to drop weekly, Oh and they also have a medical mobile unit that comes every Thursday iu need blood work or whatever done. Teally cool joint that I highly recommend

Back in 2011 this place changed my life. Actually learned a lot of important stuff. Detox and stayed there for 3 months. If I'm not mistaken it's a free program. If I'm wrong then it was definitely a low amount. Especially when comparing other places.

I've attended various programs (IOP, ERG therapy) with them since 2023 and have nothing but the best to say about their staff and their services. I can honestly say without them my daily trials and tribulations would be that much more irksome to manage. 👍

River’s Bend PC has truly impacted my life in many great ways. Their front office staff has always been extremely supportive and helpful when I need and the therapists here truly care about helping people. I have seen the negative reviews this place has received and I can assure you that it’s not accurate to the staff and therapists here. I have been here for 2 years and have improved tremendously with my mental health and loss of my mother. They have a great team on group therapists and one on one therapist that work closely with their psychiatrists to make sure the right level of care and needs are being addressed. I would highly encourage you to take the step to contact Rivers bend to start on your therapy journey!
