I came to the wave of Columbia not really knowing what to expect, but I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, everyone made me feel welcome. The staff truly care about you as a person, not just someone who needs to get sober. They helped me see that I still had something to live for, even when I didn’t believe it myself. The classes were actually fun and useful. We did yoga, group therapy, and some holistic sessions that really opened my eyes to new ways of coping. The weekends were chill, and we even got to go out for snacks or personal items once a week. The food was pretty good too, and I liked that they tried to make it feel like home. It’s been months since I left and I’m still sober. I honestly don’t think I’d be here if it wasn’t for the people at the wave. Y’all really gave me another shot at life and I’m forever grateful.

I went to the wave of Columbia, from April 6 2025 through June 6 2025. Most staff is great. Some tech are just power hungry.... Mr. Bobby is the greatest guy. I considered the food to spicy but it never got approached to be fixed. I think the wave should offer options at meals.. l am going on 6 months sober and am feeling great. Thanks yall

Columbia, SC | PRISMA Health, an integral healthcare provider within Columbia, SouthCarolina, has a range of mental health and substance abuse programs to serve its community. They work with individuals from any background, gender and age. PRISMA Health offers comprehensive mental health services, including specialized women’s care for perinatal mood disorders, | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I’m honestly not sure why this hospital has so many bad reviews. This review is solely based on labor and delivery, and my experience was excellent.
I recently moved from NOVA (Northern VA) and was very hesitant to give birth in SC, especially with our first baby. After struggling to get appointments with other recommended practices, Prisma had same-day availability—and from that point on, everything was positive.
From the moment we arrived for my scheduled C-section, the entire staff was kind, helpful, and reassuring. As someone with high anxiety around procedures and pain, I truly felt heard and cared for. My pre-op nurse, Jenna, was amazing—she even answered my call the day before and ended up being my pre-op nurse the day of the c-section. The anesthesiology team was also fantastic: calm, attentive, and very reassuring.
Post-op care was just as great. My nurses Jenni and Alexus, along with lactation consultants Justine and Nancy, went above and beyond. As a first-time mom choosing to breastfeed, their support meant everything.
I chose Dr. Carter for my scheduled C-section, and she was absolutely incredible—knowledgeable, attentive, and made me feel like more than just a patient. I originally considered traveling back to VA to deliver, but I’m so glad I didn’t.
Overall, I’m extremely grateful for the care we received and would absolutely recommend Prisma’s labor and delivery team.

Linking professional competency, care and compassion. Not so easy in healthcare today, but from my family’s recent experience I’d say all three were far above our expectation while at Prisma Richland Hospital.
My 33 yr old none verbal, non ambulatory daughter was transported last week to 10 West. During her 5 days there we experienced an incredible staff that took extreme pride in their patient care, presented themselves with positive attitudes and behavior that was refreshingly compassionate. Too many exceptional professionals to mention, but I truly mean ALL staff members: charge nurses, techs, dietitians, doctors and neurology team, lab techs and others. Each day I kept thinking, “surely one person is going to let us down, approach with a terrible attitude or appear to not want to do their job”. That never happened. Not once.
We are home with hearts full of gratitude and thankful for putting our trust in Prisma Richland.

This was my second time there. This time they helped so much! They helped with my seizures. They made sure i was ok physically. They even sent me to the hospital to get checked. Everyone was so nice and understanding. I felt like a human there. Like i mattered. I felt appreciated and loved by all the staff and peers i met there. My doctor Debbie and rob the social worker helped so much. I went to Rebound after Three Rivers because they just discharged me when i wasn’t safe at home. They found me a safe place to go. Also like i mean some staff were mean but i just showed them kindness. But overall it was a very good experience. I am grateful for Rebound. It saved my life! I was completely honest and they helped me. Thats all u gotta do no matter how scared you are always be honest! Everyone’s experience is different but mine was so great! I would def recommend Rebound to my family and friends. The staff that i want to recognize is Lee, Shidaya, Rob, Debbie, sydney, and especially Maddy! She made me felt heard and like i mattered!
Sydney was always joking it made my day!
I also made alot of connections with the peers. I made some friends and keep in contact with them. But also every concern i had or felt uncomfortable they dealt with it!

I was a patient here 4/20/2016 and it saved my life. I now have over 8 years clean and am living my best life. If I didn’t come here and continue treatment when I left I wouldn’t be alive. Thanks to my mom, she found this place, and a Higher Power who put me right where I needed to be. I liked it because there were medical professionals who treated me more than fair, even nice, and not overlooked or disrespected. They helped me come up with a plan that suited my needs. I was heard and felt I was safe. It was a secure place, not able to have my cell phone and had limited calling times and even harder abilities to get drugs, if I had more freedom I would have left and gotten high. Those detox days were hell, but the medicine they gave me to come off of substances helped. I opted out of MAT bc I used to abuse it. They had an enclosed smoking area too for us (which was considerate) and people from 12 step programs bringing hope. The facility played a video of a Celtics ball player who struggled with addiction and stayed clean. That video changed my life and gave me hope as I used to be an athlete. I had no insurance and they worked with my mom and I to sort out a payment plan. I payed them back once I got clean. 10/10 stars. ✨ Even more if I could. I didn’t attend outpatient treatment, although they offered a lot of services, because I went to a rehab across the state. I am so grateful I gave this place a chance to hold the fate of my life in it. I was in good hands. Thank you to the dedicated staff, your kindness, board members who help make this possible, and community volunteers. You rock Keystone! 🪨

There is no better place than keystone. If YOU want the help and YOU work for your recovery? They will work JUST as hard for you, if not harder. Kelly, Kyra, Sylvana, Jess, Kerry, Erin, Frank, Doug, David... They are all pure souls. I have felt the love, support, and empathy on the level that I did/still do at keystone. They saved my life. They save a LOT of lives. This program will go hard af for you so long as you WANT it. I'm blessed beyond measure to be 115 days clean and sober thanks to keystone. Been going there for almost a decade and it's running better than it ever has now in 2022 with Kyra Rich the Case Manager. She is by far the most amazing person I have met at keystone. I never knew I could love a "normie" so much lol. My before and after pics are gonna be below.. let that speak for itself. I love keystone more than I can put into words. They are HOME to me. Keystone is home.. ❤️
**EDIT:
I am now OVER 2 years 2 months and 12 days clean (as of 01/23/2024) and i still feel the very same (if not stronger) about keystone! I went all the way to Utah to Turning Point who is supposed to be "second in the nation" for substance abuse. And they treated me terrible.. i still to this day hold true to my opinion that keystone is THE BEST treatment facility there is out there! They are small but they are mighty. They have so much heart. I still to go to keystone for my groups and MAT to this day!! And i LOVE IT!! They have been such an essential part of my recovery and always will be! I cannot wait to start my training to become peer support and hopefully be able to give back to keystone for how much they have given me!! We do recover! 11/12/21 ❤️

Rock Hill, SC | New Hope Treatment Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina, is a behavioral and substance abuse recovery center for adolescents and young adults aged 12 through 22. Their residential drug rehab program provides a stable place to live and intensive personal treatment for clients involved in the child welfare system or other difficult situations. It's a | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Hello, I was a Resident here for almost 2 years and I left 2025 June 27th, When I first got here it was rough, yeah and sure there was staff that weren't there for the kids and were there for the paycheck, but then you have the staff that were supportive and took time out of their day to talk to us and supplies while still remaining professional. I will like to give a shout-out to Derrick Falls, James Green, Jennifer Updike, Kayla Wentzky, Renee Little, Allison Clifford, Curtis Barnes. And Holley. Personally I see all these other reviews from pass residents and it does disgust me because all you have to do is follow the program and do what you are told. Also the food is great, this place could have served us residents crap if they wanted too. But overall, this place will break you, and rebuild you, but it's up to you how you want to be rebuilt.
