About Steadfast Recovery

Steadfast Recovery is in Longwood, Florida, and offers clean and safe transitional housing for those in recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The housing is for men. Rent is due weekly by 6:00 p.m. every Friday.

As a new resident, you’ll pay the first week’s rent before you move in. There are three homes available. Bedrooms are two per room and you’ll be placed based on house availability. You’ll provide your own laundry supplies, toiletries and food, but the house provides cleaning supplies, household supplies and bedding.

Attending 90/90 Addiction Recovery Meetings

You’ll need to be clean for 30 days before moving into one of the homes. As you begin your stay, you’ll attend 90 12-step meetings in 90 days with a sponsor. You’ll have random drug screens for accountability.

Respect, Honesty and Integrity

The house managers encourage integrity, respect and honesty as you progress in the program and with your life. You’ll adhere to a curfew of 10:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday for the first 30 days of your stay. After that, you’ll be able to stay out later.

Program alumni highlight the personalized attention and compassionate staff. Other testimonials mention the nonjudgmental and supportive environment.

I am grateful beyond words for Steadfast, and the family. It is a wonderful, safe, and structured environment to take the time to become a whole person. Truly a home. I absolutely would not be where I am now, and looking forward to the future, without this place, and the people that I am surrounded by being here.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

A sober living home in Florida often serves as a transitional residence for individuals coming out of inpatient rehab. This helps those in recovery avoid isolation that can sometimes happen after they return home from treatment. It offers a supportive environment where they can practice skills learned in rehab. Offering a combination of structure and freedom, men's or women's sober living is a good stepping stone to independent life in recovery.

Treatments

When a person has alcohol use disorder (AUD), also referred to as alcoholism or alcohol addiction, they experience withdrawal symptoms when they stop drinking. This physical dependence results from overuse of alcohol, which may be used as a coping mechanism or escape. Individuals who have AUD can overcome the alcohol addiction through alcohol rehab in Florida. This treatment process involves essential therapy and supports to help the individual achieve and maintain recovery.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Programs

Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.
