I hope these facilities burn to the ground. I hope the few good people there realize how wrong and corrupt it truly is and leave. I went to New Life House academy, I can say for sure all they want is your money. When I got pulled, they with-held my high school transcripts in an attempt to keep me there. That place was full of toxicity and extremely opinionated people. There were times we weren't allowed to talk for days at a time. It was borderline abusive, if not straight up abusive at times. I witnessed a 14-year-old girl get dragged out of her room by and pinned to the ground by a grown man because she refused to leave it. They even conditioned us to believe she deserved that treatment. This is not a treatment facility; it is a hell on earth created by born again Christians who force their extremist beliefs and purity culture on young girls, often times making them worse when they come out then they were before they came in. There were kind souls there, and I pray for those few. DO NOT send your child to New Life House.

Accepted Insurance

Please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Adult & Teen Challenge of Oklahoma works with several private insurance providers, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Individual therapy in Oklahoma offers men and women customized care that's tailored to their specific needs for drug and alcohol addiction treatment. This can include interventions that promote self discovery, develop coping skills, or uncover the underlying causes of addictive behavior.

Can’t say I’m too impressed. My son was there for the better part of two years. He got out and it didn’t take him a month to fall back into his old ways of drinking and lying and just being an all around slacker. Not to mention he’s so blunt that he is something of an a-hole now. Unless he’s high. Sounds like a toxic culture to me. My son also tells me about all the landscaping/ yard work they do. Almost inclined to think it’s a front for free labor. Makes me wonder who’s behind it all.

Response from the owner
Hi Jason, we're sorry the principles of humility, empathy and structure didn't take root in your son. We do the best we can and often the lessons stick. Sometimes they do not. We have over 100 men's locations in the country so if your son ends up needing help there are other programs that could provide assistance since it didn't sound like he "got it" at the location he was at. Also, we do encourage you to come by one of our locations in person and see for yourself the work we do instead of one persons actions dictate the opinion of what we offer. We think it would change your mind about what we teach and how we help individuals live a better life. Thank you for giving us two years to work with your son. Blessings
