About Bayside Medical & Rehab
Bayside Medical & Rehab is located on North Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa, Florida. They provide behavioral health services to address co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. I find it helpful to know that the facility is accessible to Highway 580 and is close to AdventHealth Carrollwood Hospital, restaurants, and grocery stores. You can also access I-275, the Tampa International Airport and the Carrollwood Village Park.
Tailored Care for Men and Women
I like that they provide treatment for opioid and alcohol addiction and specialize in tailored care for men and women. They offer therapy through outpatient services including individual one-on-one counseling and peer-supported group therapy. Their programs offer flexible scheduling so that you can continue with your at-home responsibilities as you seek treatment.
Acute Care for Stabilization
If you are experiencing a crisis, they can support or perhaps refer you to medication assisted treatment for opioid and alcohol withdrawal symptoms. MAT will help curb cravings so that clients become more willing to undergo counseling without fear of relapse.
They will also help you arrange for aftercare support. They may refer you to community support groups, education programs which may support prevention guidance and education on the effects of addiction. They also connect clients with social services if you’re experiencing housing instability or employment issues as you move towards lifelong sobriety and overall wellness.
Following your stabilization treatment, they may recommend intensive outpatient care (IOP), which will provide a more structured and regular outpatient care regimen to address your immediate needs. Therapy may also include family therapy to address relationship issues that may have developed as a result of your addiction and mental health issues.
