I met Barbara Hoefener, FNP, earlier this year. At first, I was intimidated by her!
She was so meticulous with all the initial requirements, which made me scared of her.
However, I learned that the reason she is so thorough is that her practice runs smoothly and efficiently once you take the time to submit your forms correctly.
To my surprise, I became very comfortable with Barbara during our visits. In fact, I'm so comfortable with her now that it's funny to think back to how I felt at the beginning.
Barbara is proficient, kind, caring, funny, and now I can say she feels like a friend, not just my NP.
I would highly recommend Barbara to anyone!

I’m trying to find a new doctor so I called to ask some questions. She was extremely condescending and was trying to talk over me. Not good customer service at all!

You called and said you didn't want to read the website so wanted to ask me questions on the phone. Question 1- Do you take this insurance- answer is on the website, but yes. Question 2- Do you treat SSRI?- this is a class of depression meds. You know what, read the policies and fill out the screener and we can go from there. Have a great day! 
Always on time or early, shows real care and interest in her patients, easy to talk with, and overall my best doctors experience, and I have been in and out of the hospital with several conditions from back surgery and pain management to seizures, ptsd, and anxiety disorder, plus recently luekopenia, and she has been well versed, and often knew more than even the specialist with Neurology and oncology. All in all, I couldn't ask for a better care provider.
