They offer assistance to 12 to 19 year olds with drug related and mental health problems who don’t need 24 hour supervision. Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

My insurance was accepted in 2025 with no problem, all of a sudden Fairview dropped the contract going into 2026 without any notice from them or my insurance. But that didn't stop them from providing care for FOUR months, making me accumulate a bill of over $4,000 without me knowing. When I call billing they basically told me too bad and I have no options. I would not recommend Fairview at all. They're billing practices are predatory.
I had a great experience here in the Birthplace unit. I was transferred there via ambulance and had never been to this hospital. My nurses and doctors were great, they listened to every concern I had. I did not have any of my personal belongings with me and my nurse Kris went above and beyond to look for personal hygiene for me. I appreciate all the nurses I had during my stay- Kris, Sydney, Madeline and Allison.
My husband was hospitalized here for an entire month and they took great care of him. His room was bright, comfortable and clean and his staff was very attentive and kind. He had a stroke while in the hospital and the staff quickly called a “code” for a stroke and got him attended to. He recovered well with the help of nurses, OT and PT and the excellent patient care assisants. His medical team was very good (they collaborated well) and his blood pressure was under control. The peritoneal dialysis nurses were exceptional and handled all of his needs. My only concern is that one test, an MRI, came very late in the day, and probably should have been ordered to be urgently. The second concern was that he was sent to a dreadful rehabilitation center after discharge- they should take that provider off their list!
