Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Clients who are exiting detox or stepping down from intensive inpatient care typically transition directly into outpatient treatment. Outpatient programs are designed to allow clients to either re-enter or remain in their communities while receiving robust, personalized care. Many facilities offer evening, night, or weekend services to accommodate clients' home and work schedules. The most common outpatient treatment modalities include psychotherapy, recovery-focused life skills training, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Alcohol use disorder, commonly called alcoholism, involves an inability to control the amount or frequency you drink and feeling withdrawal symptoms when you don't drink. Treatment for alcohol addiction may involve residential or outpatient alcohol rehab in North Carolina, counseling, or 12-step programs. Typically, some form of professional treatment and support is necessary to achieve long-term recovery.

There are many types of drug rehab in North Carolina. To receive treatment for addiction, you can choose from many inpatient and outpatient programs. Often, participants start with detox and work through a full continuum of care that continues with ongoing support for long-term recovery.

North Carolina offers substance abuse treatment programs that provide a holistic and evidence-based approach. Through a comprehensive mental health assessment, addiction experts can provide an individualized care plan specific to your needs. You can expect most rehabs programs to provide individual and group therapy, recovery meetings, and evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). Depending on your circumstances and severity of addiction, you may need more intensive care. Levels of care include outpatient, residential inpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization. By choosing the right level of care, you're more likely to succeed in long-term recovery.

Clinical Services

Clients who receive cognitive behavioral therapy in North Carolina typically attend five to 20 sessions. During this time, they work with their therapist to learn healthier patterns of thinking, which can help them change their behavior related to substance use.

Men and women enjoy a supportive environment within group therapy sessions for drug and alcohol addiction treatment. You can share your experiences and build connections with your peers while receiving encouragement from individuals who have faced similar challenges.

You usually develop a strong bond with your therapist during individual therapy sessions. This helps you explore the underlying causes of your substance use in a safe and nonjudgmental environment. Therapists help you develop effective coping strategies you can use in the community and improve your self awareness so you understand your addiction triggers.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. For one, it was already challenging to even book an appointment because the representative’s first language clearly wasn’t English. Then she books me for a Saturday appointment, and I confirm it-only to pull up that morning to no one at the facility. Called the number and it states that their facility is closed. Imagine how irate I was, being that this was my child’s first appointment and we drove 50 min just for the appointment. Totally unprofessional and disorganized I might add because this appointment was booked two weeks prior to, so how did a representative not catch that mistake!!!????

Just left my appointment and one of the worst experiences I’ve had. First my appts kept being rescheduled and when I finally get one the doctor wasn’t there we had to do it via a laptop. Most of my concerns weren’t met and they told me I have to go to the REX center to do bloodwork. I start a new job and won’t have the time to do this. They kept rescheduling my appointments so now i dont have the time. Awful experience awful place. Even one of the receptionist told me I need to find a new doctor. Waste of my time k am very upset.

I have been coming to this office for almost 2 years, when they were open three days a week. I have came to the office on days that they are not open and was told they was open Tuesday and Friday and unable to get in contact with anybody. This is very unprofessional and concerning. There are only two days i am able to get in touch with anybody at the Knightdale office. My medications are not being sent on time ever , when i come on days they are open , the front desk girl is always working and doing other things , she always is busy and i don’t like to bother but this is ridiculous every month i have to call 10x and the answering team does not understand me . I do not recommend this place!! I have moved on from this practice.
